SISAL (Speleothem Isotopes Synthesis and AnaLysis Working Group) database version 2.0
Stable isotope records from speleothems provide information on past climate changes, most particularly information that can be used to reconstruct past changes in precipitation and atmospheric circulation. SISAL (Speleothem Isotope Synthesis and Analysis) is an international working group of the Past Global Changes (PAGES) project. The working group aims to provide a comprehensive compilation of speleothem isotope records for climate reconstruction and model evaluation. The second version of the SISAL database contains oxygen and carbon isotope measurements from 673 individual speleothem records, and 18 composites from 293 cave systems worldwide, and metadata describing the cave settings and age models of these records. This version also contains 2,138 alternative age-depth models constructed for 503 SISAL entities.
In order to assure traceability, any presentation, report, or publication that uses the SISALv2 database should cite Atsawawaranunt et al. (2018; https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-10-1687-2018), Comas-Bru et al. (2019; https://doi.org/10.5194/cp-15-1557-2019) and Comas-Bru et al. (2020; https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-2020-39). If using individual sites, the literature citations for published work provided in the database should also be cited. Contact information of data contributors of unpublished data is also provided and these should be contacted when unpublished records are used on an individual basis
Pro-L*: probabilistic hourly L* values, with associated McIlwain Lm, magnetic field intensity B, and Cartesian coordinates for 7 global magnetic field models in the Northern Hemisphere in the period 2006-2016
In radiation belt physics radial distance is often thought of by L*, which approximates the distance from the Earth’s centre to an equatorial point (if we were to assume a dipole magnetic field). Global magnetic field models allow a subset of locations on the ground to be mapped along field lines to a location in space and transformed into L*, provided that location maps to a closed drift path. This allows observations from ground, or low-altitude space-based platforms to be mapped into space in order to inform radiation belt modelling. In current modelling efforts a decision must therefore be made for the global magnetic field model to implement. Many data-based magnetic field models exist; however these models can significantly disagree on mapped L* values for a single point on the ground, during both quiet times and storms. We present a state of the art probabilistic L* mapping tool, Pro-L*, which produces probability distributions for L* corresponding to a given ground location.
Pro-L* is an extensive dataset comprising 11 years worth of hourly L* values for 7 global magnetic field models, spanning a high resolution grid in the Northern Hemisphere where ground instruments for radiation belt studies are mostly located. Accompanying each L* approximation, the McIlwain L, magnetic field amplitude and Cartesian location are also stored. Data was generated using the International Radiation Belt Environment Modelling
library (IRBEM-Lib), a collection of FORTRAN 77 processes for radiation belt modelling which compute magnetic coordinates and drift shells using various external magnetic field models, hosted in the Python package Spacepy. The data is formatted in yearly compressed csv files, with each row a particular hour containing all of the mentioned variables for each magnetic field model, the corresponding grid points’ magnetic latitude, magnetic longitude, and magnetic local time (MLT). Therefore, each hour index appears for each grid point
Sarsen Stones in Wessex
This dataset comprises the manually-digitised analogue records created by the Sarsen Stones in Wessex survey. The survey was led by Fellows of the Society of Antiquaries of London during the 1970s, under the aegis of the Society's Evolution of the Landscape Project. The data describe the presence of sarsen stones and sarsen-built structures (of all periods) in the three UK counties of Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. The data were created by survey volunteers primarily during fieldwork and from literature review. Data fields describe the location and nature of each observation. The data are accompanied by documents that describe the analogue archive collection, and the methods and protocols used to complete the manual transcription

A new multi-variable benchmark for Last Glacial Maximum climate simulations
Reconstruction of climate anomalies for the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM, ca 21,000 years ago), made by combining pollen based reconstructions (from Bartlein et al. 2011) and averaged outputs of LGM simulations from the 3rd round of the Palaeoclimate Model Intercomparison Project (PMIP, Braconnot et al. 2011), under a variational data assimilation technique. This reconstruction is designed to be used for data-model comparison, specifically against the results of PMIP4. The dataset consists of 6 variables: moisture index (the ratio precipitation and equilibrium evapotranspiration), mean annual precipitation (mm), mean annual temperature (degrees C), mean temperature of the coldest month (degrees C), mean temperature of the warmest month (degrees C), growing degree days above 5 degrees C (day degrees C). The standard deviation of these variables is also given.
This dataset supersedes the version published at http://dx.doi.org/10.17864/1947.229, where an incorrect value for MI SD was used in Australia, a non-linear MAP non-dimensionalisation was used (instead of the linear one here), the background error covariance matrix was square rooted improperly and incorrect values for MI were used in central Asia

Each file corresponds to an individual experiment in the study, containing the final phase space density (PSD) profiles of each ensemble member at the end of the experiment
Equivalence in risky-choice framing
The study was undertaken as part of Sarah Fisher's PhD research. It investigated whether a classic risky-choice framing effect depends on the semantic inequivalence of the options presented in alternative framing conditions. The dataset comprises response data from two experiments, both of which were run online using Qualtrics/Amazon Mechanical Turk. The experiments involved Mechanical Turk Workers completing a choice task, based on a short scenario concerning the outbreak of an unusual Asian disease. In the first experiment (n=305), each participant received one of four versions of the scenario. In the second experiment (n=308), each participant received one of three versions of the scenario. After completing the choice task, participants answered a small number of demographic/screening questions

In particular, the dataset contains deal-specific variables, as well as macro-economic and institutional variables measured at the country level for both host and investor countries involved in each LSLA deal.
