Appraisal of the Implication of Autonomy Theory in Women and Minority Rights Law
Autonomy theory shifts the emphasis from women having what men have to women being able to stand on their own make their own decision and pursue their own notion of a life well lived women\u27s rights advocates make similar assumption when they argue that women should have freedom to control their own lives and make their own reproductive choices. Therefore, the aim of this article was to deal with sex and consent, pregnancy and autonomy, economic autonomy and women\u27s poverty, the challenges in the implementation of the autonomy theory and the solution to these challenges. The research methodology was doctrinal approach, using expository and analytical research design. The main sources of data collection werevarious legal literatures, both from the physical library and the e-library. it was found that the concept of autonomy has been developed in decisions concerning sexual and reproductive rights, including those connected to assisted reproduction techniques, access to abortion services, informed consent, and sex education, as well as the element of non-consent in sexual violence laws. It is also found that the doctrine has been embraced in decisions concerning LGBTIQ+ communities, interconnected often with the exercise of gender identity and expression and the rights to live free from violence and discrimination. It was recommended that in order to cure the defect of Autonomy theory, government should be responsive to provide and cater for women to cure the defect of poverty. Thus, the government should provide a regulatory machine to cure the defect of lack of manpower and inefficiency in workplaces as a result of women\u27s limit of productivity
Regulation of Freedom of Religion Vis A Vis Noise Pollution Arising from it in Nigeria.
Abstract In Nigeria, religion plays a central role in public and private life, with the right to freedom of religion constitutionally enshrined under Section 38 of the 1999 Constitution. However, the practical manifestation of this right—especially through amplified religious activities—has increasingly clashed with other fundamental rights, notably the rights to life, health, privacy, and a safe environment. This growing tension has prompted urgent legal and policy questions about how to appropriately regulate religious expression when it results in environmental harm, particularly noise pollution. This research aims to critically examine the legal framework governing the regulation of religious freedom in Nigeria, specifically as it intersects with public health and environmental protection concerns. It investigates the extent to which the Constitution and subsidiary legislation permit reasonable limitations on religious practices in the interest of public order, health, and the rights of others. Adopting a doctrinal methodology, the study relies on statutory analysis, judicial decisions, international human rights instruments, and regulatory frameworks such as the National Environmental (Noise Standards and Control) Regulations 2009. The findings reveal that while freedom of religion is fundamental, it is not absolute and may be lawfully restricted under Section 45(1) of the Constitution. Excessive religious noise constitutes a public nuisance and violates both environmental standards and individual rights. The paper recommends that Nigerian states adopt uniform noise control laws tailored to religious institutions, and that courts should more assertively interpret constitutional rights in a balanced manner to protect public health while respecting religious freedoms

OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES OF INTEGRATING MACHINE LEARNING FOR THREAT PREVENTION IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN ANAMBRA STATE
The main purpose of the study was to examine the opportunities and challenges of integratingMachine Learning (ML) for threat prevention in secondary schools in Anambra State. Two researchquestions guided the study and one hypothesis was tested. The descriptive survey design was adoptedfor the study. The population of the study comprised 267 public secondary school principals inAnambra State. Census Sampling method was adopted for the study. A selfstructured questionnairewas developed and used by the researchers to collect relevant data for the study. The instrument wasvalidated by three research experts and the instrument was subject to a trial test. Mean, standarddeviation and one-sample t-test was used to analyze data. The finding of the study revealed that MLpresents substantial opportunities for enhancing school security, including real-time surveillance, behavioural analysis and predictive threat detection. However, the study also identified severalchallenges hindering effective ML implementation, such as inadequate infrastructure, limitedtechnical expertise, data privacy concerns and resistance to technology adoption. Furthermore, thenull hypothesis was rejected, indicating a significant influence of ML on threat prevention. Based onthese findings, the study recommends increased investment in security infrastructure, capacitybuilding for school staff and awareness campaigns to enhance stakeholder involvement in MLintegration
GREENING AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM FOR SUSTAINABLE WORKFORCE IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION IN SOUTHEAST NIGERIA
This paper considered some approaches for enhancing graduates of agricultural education work skills towards social and economic transformation. It examined the integration of a green approach into agricultural education curriculum to develop a sustainable workforce for agricultural production in southeast Nigeria. Four research questions guided the study and four hypotheses were also formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. Population of the study was 122 agricultural education lecturers and instructors in three selected higher institution that offers agricultural education in Enugu State. The entire population was used for the study because of the manageable size. Greening agricultural education curriculum item questionnaire made up of 78 items was used for data collection. The instrument was validated by three experts in Department of Technology and Vocational Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. Cronbach Alpha reliability method was used to determine the internal consistency of the instrument. A Cronbach Alpha coefficient of 0.71as obtained for the four clusters respectively. One hundred and twelve copies of the questionnaire were administered to the respondents by the researcher with the help of three research assistants. All the administered copies of the questionnaire were retrieved and analyzed using mean, standard deviation and t – test. Findings of the study revealed among others that agricultural education curriculum require element of green skills that will expose the students to sustainable work placement. It was therefore recommended that green skills should be included in the curriculum to provide green skills necessary for sustainable workforce
NEEDS DRIVEN RESEARCH IN AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY FOR SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRIAL AND NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN BAYELSA STATE, NIGERIA
