Risk factors associated with the commission of infractions in adolescents in the city of Sucre
No full textThis paper explores the types of crimes that were committed by adolescent offenders at the Solidarity Center in the city of Sucre, and describes some risk factors that are related to offending behavior. -28 adolescent male inmates, aged 13 to 18, who committed various offences such as aggravated robbery, drug use and trafficking, homicide, rape and sexual abuse, participated in this research. The FES scales (Moos R. and Tricket E, 1989) were applied to evaluate the family climate, the EHS scale to investigate social skills and the Graffar-Mendez Modified scale to delimit the socioeconomic level.El presente trabajo explora los tipos de delitos que fueron cometidos por los adolescentes infractores del Centro Solidaridad de la ciudad de Sucre, y describe algunos factores de riesgo que están relacionados con la conducta infractora. -En esta investigación participaron 28 adolescentes internos en dicho centro, de 13 a 18 años de edad, de sexo masculino que cometieron diversas infracciones como robo agravado, consumo y tráfico de drogas, homicidio, violación y abuso deshonesto. Se aplicaron las escalas de FES (Moos R. y Tricket E, 1989) para evaluar el clima familiar, la escala EHS para indagar las habilidades sociales y la escala de Graffar-Méndez Modificada, para delimitar el nivel socioeconómico.Capítulo 1. Maternal Attitude and Cognitive-Emotional Regulation in Women of the Technical Academic "Sister Mechtildis
No full textAn exploratory descriptive study was conducted to identify the relationship between maternal attitude and cognitive-emotional regulation strategies in 136 mothers of the Technical Training Academy "Hna Mechtildis" in the city of Sucre, considering age and number of children. The type of sample was non-probabilistic for convenience. The age and the number of children is not a variable that influences the type of maternal attitude, but it was determined that the older the mother is and depending on the number of children she has, the greater the use of the cognitive regulation strategy focused on the plans to face stress situations that arise.Se realizó un estudio descriptivo exploratorio para identificar la relación entre el tipo de actitud materna y las estrategias de regulación cognitiva emocional en 136 madres de la Academia Técnica de Formación "Hna Mechtildis" de la ciudad de Sucre, considerando la edad y el número de hijos. El tipo de muestra fue no probabilística por conveniencia. La edad y el número de hijos no es una variable que influya en el tipo de actitud materna, pero si se determinó que a mayor edad y dependiendo el número de hijos que se tenga, mayor será el uso de la estrategia de regulación cognitiva focalizada en los planes ante situaciones de estrés que se presenten.Capítulo 1.
