    Resource Sharing Collaborative and Voluntary Document Delivey (RSCVD) is an international resource sharing (RS) service based in a community of volunteer librarians whose objective is helping libraries to ensure universal and equitable access to information. They use the open source software purpose-designed TALARIA. RSCVD’s mission is to ensure equal access to information, particularly during times of crisis, through a high-quality, open, free, and collaborative document supply service. This is the first business meeting where all action plans were discussed and the way to move forward

    The meeting was held on the 7th of March 2024 and discussed the DDRS updated Action Plan - the ILDS 2024 planning is in progress with 2 confirmed sponsors IEEE and OCLC and 1 potential. The 1st webinar held on the 27th of February was evaluated as a successful event. The second Webinar in May is in preparation. 1 speaker is confirmed and still looking for the 2nd one. The DDRS guidelines are being updated - The RSCVD group will launch the Talaria's 4th anniversary ont he 21st of April. A common general powerpoint presentation is being prepared by RSCVD committee members -New collaboration will be done between RSCVD and the Iranian National Library

    The tenth meeting of the Regional Council 2023-2025 was held virtually on 19 September 2024. Items discussed during this meeting include welcome by the Regional Council Chair, followed by updates from Regional Division Committee Chairs, and Headquarters. Additionally, the Regional Division Committee Evaluation Process was discussed, alongside the mid-term review of the Regional Council. The work around the evaluation of IFLA’s past support for library associations was also discussed in this meeting, specifically of the "Building Strong Library Associations" initiative with a view to building an evidence base for designing more effective support to associations in future. Updates on the Regional Council Action Plan were shared by the RC Vice-Chair during this meeting. Additional topics discussed were: the RC contribution to the preparations of WLIC 2025; the implementation of the new IFLA Strategy 2025-2029 in regions; the IFLA ANBI Status and the organisation's sustainability; the regional results from the IFLA Trend Report; the promotion of the IFLA Internet Manifesto in the Regions

    The DDRS Standing Committee met on the 2nd of May 2024 and discussed the possibility to apply for the Dynamic Unit and Impact Award 2024, and concluded that it is not the time, and better apply the following year. The ILDS 2024 saw an increase in the paper proposals 28, 3 posters, 4 confirmed sponsors, 10 scholarships requests. Chair expressed the need to find 2 keynote speakers. The 2nd webinar series about AI and Resource Sharing is almost ready, to be on the 15th of May. All logistics are done, and committee members are sharing the poster on all networks. Carmen updated the Committee on the RSCVD birthday that was on 21st of April, and todate 145 new libraries joined RSCVD. The RSCVD presentation is ready to be used by all members. A session about RSCVD to be introdcued in ILDS 2024. The new International perspectives item on the agenda could not be discussed as Suqing from China had to leave before the end of the meeting
