Minutes of meeting: IFLA Regional Council, 17 January 2024
The fourth meeting of the Regional Council 2023-2025 was held virtually on 17 January 2024. Items discussed during this meeting include welcome by the Regional Council Chair, followed by updates from Governing Board, Professional Council, and Headquarters. Additionally, there were three Deep-Dive issues discussed: i) Deep-Dive: Understanding and Building Connections in New York, ii) Deep-Dive: RDC Plans and Practices for Engaging Emerging Leaders, and iii) Deep-Dive: Communications – Preparing for the next meeting with IFLA HQ. Updates on the Regional Council Action Plan were also mentioned, while discussion took place around planning for the next meeting in March 2024
