Depressive State in Acute Stroke Patients as Perceived by Nurses and the Involvement of Nurses
Get PDF脳卒中急性期の患者の落ち込みは看護師にどのように捉えられているのか，また看護師はどのような関わりを行っているのかを明らかにするため、 質的記述的研究を行った。研究参加者は，脳卒中リハビリテーション看護認定看護師 7名 だった。 看護師が落ち込んでいると捉えた患者の状況は， 8つのカテゴリーにまとめられた。 看護師は， 【活気がない】【以前と変わってしまった身体と対峙する 】【人に迷惑をかけることを気にする】【やってみてできな いことに気が付く 】 状況を捉えていた。 看護師の関わりは， 12 のカテゴリーにまとめられた。 看護師は 【落ち込む時は落ち込んだ方がいい】 と考え， 【距離を保ちながら見守る】【無理はさせない】【治療やリハビリを継続させる】ように関わっていた。 患者の落ち込みの状況は， 患者の変化を早期に捉えるための観察の視点として活用できる。また看護師の関わりは患者の落ち込みからの回復を促すものであり， 実践に活用できる 。A qualitative descriptive study was conducted to determine how nurses perceived the state of depression in acute stroke patients, how nurses comprehended the situation, and how nurses involved themselves with the situation. The study participants were seven certified nurses in stroke rehabilitation nursing.
The patients perceived by nurses as being in a depressive state were grouped into eight categories. The nurses perceived the situation as lack of energy, confronting the changes in their body, concern about inconveniencing others, and becoming perceived after failed attempts at doing something. Meanwhile nurses’ involvement patterns were summarized into twelve categories. The nurses thought that the patient would be in a depressive state and it was acceptable to be in a depressive state, observed while maintaining distance from the patient, did not force the patient, and helped the patient to continue treatment and rehabilitation. The patients’ state of depression can be used as a point of observation for early detection of changes in patients. The nurses’ involvement is also thought to facilitate the patients’ recovery from their state of depression, and can be used in practice.departmental bulletin pape

“Born to be a teacher”: An interview of a Japanese EFL teacher
Get PDFIdentity construction of English teachers has attracted researchers in the field of TESOL for the past 20 years (Richards, 2023). Many of these studies use interview as a data-collection method to collect stories among participants from diverse backgrounds. However, there are very few studies which analyze the process of how the identity construction occurs through the interactive process of the participants’ own accounts with an interviewer. Therefore, this study aims to contribute to this topic by analyzing interview data from an interactional perspective. This paper investigates how a teacher constructs identity as a Japanese EFL teacher through analyzing interview data using qualitative research methods. The study views interview as a social activity in its own right, and takes the perspective of “active interview” proposed by Holstein and Gubrium (2004). The active interview approach is based on the belief that “all interviews are interactional” (Holstein & Gubrium, 2004, p. 141), and the meaning is coconstructed and situated within a specific context. Thus, rather than viewing interviews as an information gathering method, this approach allows analysts to consider how versions of reality, knowledge, and meaning are co-constructed between the interviewer and interviewee on a

Practicing Life Career Education in Moral Class Using Educational Avatars
Get PDFキャリア教育では，職業指導や職場体験学習等を含めた労働者的な役割を学習する機会と捉えられることが多いが，働くこと以外の「余暇人」「家庭人」など人生における多様な役割を含めて理解することが重要である。それらの概念を踏まえたライフキャリア教育について道徳科の授業において実践を行った。実践では，本音で議論がしにくいという課題を踏まえてアバターを活用して，生徒の意見に反論をすることで，新しい気付きを得ることができるかを検討した。その結果，自分の幸せや楽しさのために働くことを優先することが結果的に家族や他者のためになるということに気付いた生徒が多数見られた。また，生

However, understanding various roles in life apart from working is important, including leisure and family people. The study conducted life career education based on these concepts in a moral education class. The practice is based on an issue in which an honest discussion is difficult, therefore, we used avatars to examine whether or not new insights could be gained by rebutting the opinions of students. As a result, many students realized that prioritizing work for their happiness and enjoyment would ultimately benefit their families and others. What does violence mean to children had been exposed to violence ? Examination from interviews with professional staffs in child welfare institution
Get PDF本研究では，過去に被暴力経験を有し，現在，暴力加害を行う福祉施設入所児童にとって，暴力がどのような意味を持つのかを明らかにするために，①子どもが暴力をどのようなものと捉えており，②どのような意図で暴力を振ったのか，の2点を検討した。具体的には，児童福祉施設職員29名に面接調査を行い，最も印象に残っている子どもの暴力事例について語ってもらった。面接内容は許可を得て録音し，その後，個人情報を保護した逐語録を作成した。逐語録をコーディングとカテゴリー化の作業を通して質的に分析した結果，暴力の捉え方について5つのカテゴリーが，暴力を振う意図について7つのカテゴリーが得られた。これらの結果からは，暴力の連鎖の最中にいる子どもにとって暴力は独特の意味を持ち，暴力を振う意図も多様であることが示唆された。総合考察では，これらの特徴を踏まえた支援の在り方について検討した。This study tried to clarify what violence means to children in welfare facilities who had been exposed to violence and are currently perpetrating violence. we examined the following two points: (1) What children consider violence to be, and (2) With what intention did they perpetrate violence? we interviewed 29 stuffs working at child welfare facilities and asked them to talk about their most memorable case of child violence. The interviews were recorded with permission, and a verbatim transcript was subsequently prepared, with personal information protected. The transcripts were qualitatively analyzed through coding and categorization, resulting in five categories of how children perceive violence and seven categories of children's intentions to commit violence. These results suggest that violence has unique meanings for children in the midst of a cycle of violence, and that their intentions for committing violence are diverse.
