"Unfortunately, it\u27s not climate activists who are running the nation.": Uncertainty as a student category on global problems
No full textIm vorliegenden Beitrag wird am Beispiel einer Fallstudie rekonstruiert, wie Jugendliche mit der Kategorie Gewissheit/Ungewissheit ökologische Krisen und gesellschaftliche Zukunft in sozialwissenschaftlichen Lernprozessen thematisieren. Dabei werden Verbindungslinien und Lernpotenziale zwischen religiöser und sozialwissenschaftlicher Bildung in Bildungsprozessen zu nachhaltiger Entwicklung fokussiert. Auf Grundlage empirischer Unterrichts- und Interviewauszüge wird wissensdidaktisch herausgearbeitet, dass Schüler*innen Ungewissheit als Prozess der diskursiven politischen Herstellung zwischen verschiedenen gesellschaftlichen Teilsystemen fokussieren, um am Beispiel der australischen Buschbrände 2019/2020 den anthropogenen Klimawandel nicht nur als ökologisches, sondern vorwiegend als politisches und soziostrukturelles globales Problem zu bearbeiten. Fächerübergreifende Bildungsprozesse zwischen religiöser und sozialwissenschaftlicher Bildung können dabei eine Wechselbewegung von Weltbeobachtung und den eigenen Verstehensweisen von Selbst und Welt anstoßen, um Retinität kategorial und problemorientiert zu operationalisieren.This article uses the example of a case study to reconstruct how students deal with the category of certainty/uncertainty to address ecological crises and the future of society in social science learning processes. In doing so, we focus on learning potentials between religious and social science education in learning processes on sustainable development. Based on empirical lesson and interview excerpts we show that students focus on uncertainty as a process of discursive political construction between different social subsystems in order to deal with anthropogenic climate change not only as an ecological but predominantly as a political and socio-structural global problem using the example of the Australian bushfires 2019/2020. Interdisciplinary learning processes between religious and social science education can thereby initiate an alternating motion of world observation and one\u27s own understandings of self and world in order to teach “Retinität” in a categorical and problem-based way
