Гипотиреоз – одно из самых распространенных заболеваний эндокринной системы. Несмотря на хорошо изученные этиологию, патогенез и несложную диагностику, в ряде случаев заболевание остается долго не распознанным, что обусловлено медленным нарастанием тироидной недостаточности и соответственно выраженности клинической картины. Биологическое действие тироидных гормонов очень разнообразно: активируя транскрипцию многочисленных генов, они участвуют в регуляции основных физиологических процессов в организме, поэтому их дефицит может проявляться широким разнообразием клинических проявлений и симптомов и имитировать заболевания практически всех систем организма [1]
Анализ Ассоциации Полиморфизма Генов Системы Гемостаза При Синдроме Ограничения Роста Плода
В статье приводится молекулярно-генетическое исследования полиморфизма гена интегрин альфа-2 (гликопротеин Ia/IIa тромбоцитов) (ITGA2) и гена Gp-IIIa (GPIIb/IIIa) ITGB3 у беременных с синдромом ограничения роста плода. Результаты исследования показали, что функционально неблагоприятный аллель T и ассоциация полиморфизма генотипа С/Т полиморфизма гена ITGA2-α2 не является значимым детерминантом повышенного риска развития СОРП в Узбекистане (χ2<3.8; Р>0.05)
GC-MS chemical analysis of ferula Sumbul essential oil
In This article presents the results of GC-MS analysis of the chemical composition of Ferula essential oil Sumbul . It has been established that the composition of the essential oil consists of different classes of organic compounds, including monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes , oxygenated monoterpenes , oxygenated sesquiterpenes and others. 49 components were found from the composition of the essential oil. The main components of them are 1 S -α- Pinene (23.36%), β- Pinene (20.60%), ( E )- Longipinene (12.48%), β- Myrcene (7.67%), Cis - sabinene (5.23%), Dioctyl terephthalate (3.94%), (-)- Spathulenol (2.59%), Caryophyllene oxide (1.86%), Anethole (0.84%), Terpinen -4- ol (0.77%), Spatulenol (1.37%), Phorbol (0.45%), Humulene (0.60%)
Complement System Response of Vaccinated Individuals with the Pfizer- Biontech and BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm) Vaccines
Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by SARS-CoV-2 is an contagious illness that emerged in December 2019, remains a serious threat it has caused millions of deaths around the world, resulting in a global pandemic. COVID-19 vaccines protect against this severe illness through different approaches. Sinopharm and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines were the greatest used vaccines in Iraq. Both vaccines have a specific mechanism to activate the immune system in human body.
This research aims to assessment the complement system C3 and C4 responses in vaccinated individuals with each the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine or the Sinopharm vaccine.
Methods
The study included 180 Iraqi adults vaccinated with two doses, 1 week apart, using either the Sinopharm or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine sixty person received the Pfizer vaccine, sixty person received the Sinopharm vaccine, and the other sixty subjects were un-vaccinated. After one week, the second dose was administered, and the blood samples were collected.
Results
study findings shown that Complement system 3 (C3) and (C4) levels were significantly increased (P-value=< P<0. 05) in total vaccinated groups when compared with healthy control. also . the table was indicated C3 concentration was significantly high increased in first dose compared to second dose on vaccinated group , while the C4 concentration was non-significantly between two dose groups.
The study concluded that the Pfizer-BioNTech and Sinopharm vaccine boosted the immune system by high activation complement may also have a protective role and could function to enhance virus neutralization by antibodies, promote virus phagocytosis by immune cells, and lysis of coronavirus

The adiponectin receptors dipoR1 and AdipoR2 mediate each of these metabolic processes. Additionally, One of the proteins with the greatest plasma concentrations is adiponectin. Adiponectin levels rise as a result of calorie restriction or weight loss, and this rise is linked to improved insulin sensitivity. Cytokines have a significant role in the selective death of beta cells that produce insulin and the impairment of insulin signaling.. Thus, An immune-mediated condition can be used to describe the second kind of diabetes. CHOICE OF SURGICAL METHODS IN PATIENTS WITH URINARY STONE DISEASE
Evaluation of the effectiveness of various methods of treating patients with urolithiasis, and recommending the best methods of minimally invasive surgical interventions. Patients and methods. To systematize the main clinical material, all patients, depending on the location of the calculus, were divided into two groups: the first group - patients with ureteral stones; the second group - with kidney stones. Depending on the method of performing surgical intervention, both groups were divided into 4 options, in options II, III, IV, minimally invasive technologies were used as monotherapy, as well as their combinations. The comparison group consisted of patients who underwent traditional open surgery. The results of treatment were assessed clinically in the near and long term. Treatment was considered ineffective in the presence of residual stones not removed during this hospitalization
Determinants of Pulmonary TB Patient Deaths in the Sukaraja Community Health Center, Bogor Regency, 2019-2022
Indonesia is ranked third in the number of tuberculosis cases in the world after India and China. Tuberculosis is a contagious disease that can cause death. The risk of developing TB disease includes individual factors (age, gender, income level, education level, socio-economic), home environmental factors, smoking habits, contact history, and so on. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the death of pulmonary TB patients in the working area of the Sukaraja Public Health Center, Bogor Regency. This study uses a quantitative method with a case control design. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. A sample of 82 respondents with a ratio of 1:4, namely 19 cases and 63 controls. The sampling frame comes from TB registers 01, 04 and 06 at the Sukaraja Health Center who died in the period 2019 - 2022 as cases. Meanwhile, the controls were TB patients who did not die during the same year and were declared cured or had complete treatment. Univariate analysis, bivariate with chi square test and multivariate analysis using logistic regression test. The results showed that the risk factors associated with the death of pulmonary TB patients were gender (p=0.013), BCG vaccine (p=0.002), comorbidities (p=0.006), previous history of TB (p=0.010), smoking (p= 0.007), and the physical condition of the house (p=0.008). The final model of this study is that smoking is associated with TB death at the Sukaraja Health Center, Bogor Regency, with a risk of death for pulmonary TB patients up to 7,273 times compared to non-smokers, if the patient has a history of not being vaccinated with BCG, male gender, previous history of TB, has comorbidities, and living in a non-standard physical home environment. It is recommended that the Bogor District Health Office establish a smoking cessation program for pulmonary TB patients and carry out continuous monitoring of smoking behavior, especially in pulmonary TB patients. Continuing research with a better retrospective or prospective cohort design, especially exposure to cigarette smoke which causes the death of pulmonary TB patients
Estimation of IL-17 and TNF-α serum concentrations in patient with proteus spp infection in Al-Najaf province, Iraq
Proteus spp infections are common in last period among people in Iraq. It may cause serious complications if left untreated. Proinflammatory cytokine Interleukin-17 (IL-17) is required for immunity against extracellular pathogens. Tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF- α) is a pleiotropic cytokine that plays an essential role in mediating inflammatory processes. This study aimed to investigate the role of IL- 17 and TNF-α in immunity against Proteus spp infection. A total of 90 serum sample toke from patient clinically confirmed with Proteus spp infection, the 90 sample is divided to three groups, case grope 30 sample (patient has Proteus spp infection),30 samples control positive group (patient with different type of bacterial infection) 30 samples control negative group (healthy indivisibles) were enrolled in this study. blood samples were collected in Alnajaf Alashrf hospitals in Najaf province, Iraq, during the period from November 2022 to Jun 2023. Cytokine profile was assessed using ELISA technique. Serum IL17 results showed a significant difference (P-value 0.001) between patients and controls grubs and serum TNF-α results also showed a significant difference (P-value 0.001) between patients and controls groups. It was concluded from the present study that Proteus spp infections caused strong influence on immune response and caused significant elevated in IL-17 and TNF-α
Synthesis and Characterization of New 2-Thiophen 3'4-Dimethylbenzaldehyde as 3,4-Dihydropyrimidinone Derivatives
Background: This study it has been successfully synthesized and characterized in the form of [3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H) ones] (1-3) a derivative. This compound were synthesized by reaction of 1,3-cyclohexane dione in the presence of ethanol, urea, and aromatic aldehyde(t-BuOK).It has been characterized spectroscopically (For example, 13C-NMR, 1H-NMR, and FT-IR) For the purpose of showing the chemical composition and the final result of the industrial compound.
Methods: The design of this research was cross-sectional. descriptive investigation,which included the preparation of a group of polypyrimidine derivatives.
Results: In the current work, 1,3-cyclohexandione, aromatic aldehydes, and urea are combined with ethanol to create 3,4-Dihydropyrimidine. The chemical composition of molecules was determined via spectral analysis (1-2)a.
Conclusion: When t-BuOK was used as a catalyst in this work to create three DHMP compounds, it produced outstanding results with a high yield and a quicker reaction time than the assistant factor
Chitinase 3-Like-1 [CPa9-HNE] and Vit-D levels in Crohn's Disease
Background: Inflammatory Bowel disease (IBD) is characterized by chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, leading to various symptoms and complications, which includes conditions like Crohn's disease (CD)and ulcerative colitis (UC). These conditions are characterized by periods of active inflammation and remission, leading to a range of symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, weight loss, and fatigue. A defect in immune response, a product of environmental and genetic factors, are considered central cause to pathogenesis and etiology of IBD[1]
GP39 is a cartilage-specific protein associated with immune responses, predominantly expressed by activated T cells. Its involvement in the pathogenesis of IBD has been demonstrated through studies showing elevated levels of GP39 in the serum of IBD patients compared to healthy controls. Recently established that IBD associated with Vit-D deficiency.
Objectives: The study aimed to address the potential advantages of (HCgp39 and Vit-D ) as biomarkers for IBD and its medical treatment.
Methods: The total number of samples collected was 120 samples from all subjects, where 60 samples were collected from patients (D=30 and UC=30)) The study also included collecting 60 samples from healthy subjects as a control group. A (5 mL) blood sample was obtained from every patient as part of the study's protocol. Serum
was separated from by centrifugation for HCgp39 and Vitamin D3 analysis by ELISA.
Results: The results show a decrease in Vit-D3 was indicated in CD and UC patient groups (P ≤ 0.05), while HCgp38 levels were non-changed significantly in patient groups compared to control subjects, (P > 0.05).
Conclusions: In conclusion, the results suggests that serum decreased Vit- D correlated well with disease activity in both CD and UC. Targeting Vit-D3 could present a novel approach to regulate metabolic pathways and modulate immune responses, potentially providing new avenues for drug development and personalized treatment strategies for individuals with IB
