Amatrice: A video diary of the 3D reconstruction of two churches
No full textThe two churches, San Francesco and Sant'Agostino in Amatrice, Italy was hit by an earthquake on August 24 2016. Both churches are in a state of partial collapse, in need of shoring to prevent potential further destruction and to preserve the national heritage. The video show the mission at 1.Sept.2016 in clips of 10 seconds.
The TRADR project was asked by the Italian firebrigade Vigili del Fuoco to provide 3D textured models of two churches.
The team entered San Francesco with two UGVs (ground robots) and one UAV (drone, flown by Prof. Surmann), teleoperating them entirely out of line of sight and partially in collaboration. We entered Sant'Agostino with one UAV (also flown by Prof. Surmann) while two other UAVs were providing a view from different angles to facilitate maneuvering them entirely out of line of sight
Nachgefragt - Neue Definition eines Qualitätsplans für Reinräume
No full textZur Planung und zum Bau von Reinräumen gibt es zwei Normen (VDI 2083 „Reinraumtechnik“ und ISO 14644 „Reinräume und zugehörige Reinraumbereiche“). Beide Normen fordern einen Qualitätsplan, der aber nicht eindeutig definiert ist. In der Praxis bedeutet dies, dass sich die ausführenden Planer und Gewerke nicht auf eine allgemein gültige Norm für einen Qualitätsplan verlassen können. Genau an dieser Stelle setzt eine Masterarbeit an und definiert einen möglichen Qualitätsplan mit Zwischenzielen und den dafür erforderlichen Maßnahmen. Unter anderem wird zur Sicherstellung der einzelnen Baufortschritte und zur Einhaltung des Reinraumkonzepts die Methodik der Fehlermöglichkeits- und Einflussanalyse (FMEA) eingeführt. Diese Methodik wird bereits in der Automobilindustrie angewendet und umfasst unter anderem auch die sogenannte Risikoprioritätszahl (RPZ), die das Gesamtrisiko eines möglichen Fehlers in Planung und Bau beziffert. cci Zeitung hat bei Prof. Christian Fieberg, seit März 2017 Professor für Gebäudetechnik, und M. Hybrid-coatings derived from pyromellitic acid bridged alkoxy-silylalkyl precursors
No full textTo achieve high temperature stable insulation materials for the electrical insulation of fine copper wires two different bis(alkoxysilylalkyl)pyromellitamide acids 1 and 2 were prepared. These organic–inorganic sol–gel hybrid precursors were obtained via reactions of pyromellitic dianhydride and alkoxysilylalkylamines. The molecular single-source precursors 1 and 2 were comprehensively studied using FT-IR, 1H, 13C and 29Si NMR spectroscopy as well as elemental analyses. Besides, the hydrolysis and condensation processes of the different precursors were examined with solution 29Si NMR spectroscopy. The imidization process was investigated using 13C NMR spectroscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy as well as thermal analysis methods. The different precursors were applied to coat fine copper wires using an industrial coating device. The obtained coatings were cured at temperatures between 380 and 425 °C, and tested regarding thicknesses, number of pinholes, electrical breakdown voltage and elongation. FT-IR spectroscopy was used to determine the chemical structure and scanning electron microscopy to investigate the morphology of the coating materials. The obtained coatings showed very promising mechanical, thermal and electrical properties, i.e. highest breakdown voltage values well above 200 V/µm. They possess high flexibility without cracking and no pinholes or other defects were detected
