An approach for software white box testing with genetic algorithm
A genetic algorithm is proposed to software testing efficiency improve through the most critical paths detecting in software program’s control flaw diagram. The results of algorithm’s probation are done. As exhaustive testing is often impossible even for medium-sized programs, usually only some separate paths of the program are checked that aren’t obligatory the most fault-prone. That’s why the more flexible approach for test data generating is developed allowing the most critical paths to be checked first detection. Objective – to analyze the viability of three representatives of the genus Picea A. Dietr. in linear and roadside plantations of Kryvyi Rih to determine the prospects for their further use in landscaping of the cities of Steppe Dnieper Area.
Material and methods. We investigated the state of the plantations formed by three representatives of the genus Picea in six administrative districts of Kryvyi Rih. Using the route method, we determined location of these plantations, number of individuals in them, age, trunk diameters as well as height of the trees. Approximate age of conifers was determined by the number of whorls and by external characters (color of needles, crown shape, tree height and trunk diameter).
Results. It was established, that, in linear plantations along highways and in plantation groups on the roadside territories of Kryvyi Rih city, the most commonly found are such trees: P. pungens ‘Glauca’ – 4038 trees (58.8%), P. pungens – 1186 trees (17.3%) and P. abies – 1643 trees (23.9%). Most trees of all the three taxa belong to the age group of 30–40 years, and the vital state of different age plants in the vast majority of them can be categorized as «healthy». The significant role in the city greening is played by P. pungens ‘Glauca’ due to its high adaptive ability and decorativeness.
Conclusion. Due to a set of biometric parameters, P. pungens, P. pungens ‘Glauca’ and P. abies are quite resistant to the urbotechnogenic environment of Kryvyi Rih and have good prospects for their further use in the city greening
Problem of data analysis and forecasting using decision trees method
This study describes an application of the decision tree approach to the problem of data analysis and forecasting. Data processing bases on the real observations that represent sales level in the period between 2006 and 2009. R (programming language and software environment) is used as a tool for statistical computing. Simulations of hypertrophied heart’s hemodynamics
The paper describes the modeling technology and the main results of the simulation of hemodynamic effects of cardiac hypertrophy (HH), conducted using previously published mathematical model (MM) [9]. The dynamics of hemodynamic abnormalities are not modeled. MM simulates changes in the central hemodynamics at different degrees and forms of myocardial hypertrophy (MH). Software technology provides a simulation of three types of HH: a) adaptive HH arising in response to the chronic lack of the systemic circulation; b) abnormal HH, which is at the extreme stage of adaptive HH; c) abnormal MH of left ventricle. The first two versions of HH have been simulated by increasing of myocardium’s stiffness, while the third version of HH is simulated via additional decrease of the unstressed volume of the left ventricle. For each version of HH a compensatory potential of self-regulation mechanisms (model uncontrolled cardiovascular system) is studied, and then similar opportunities of baroreflex regulators of hemodynamics have been evaluated. HM satisfactorily reproduces the main changes in blood pressure, cardiac output, and heart rate. The likely role of cell energy mechanisms in the cardiovascular system adaptation to high loads is discussed. The simulator is an autonomous program which can be both a tool to support the medical-physiological research and an educational means for demonstrating causal relationships to medical students. An implementation of the program in a more general program-modeling complex focused on the identification of patterns of functioning of super-human energy is planned.Problems in programming 2016; 2-3: 254-26
About relationship between table algebra of infinite tables and multiset table algebra
This article is a continuation of the works devoted to the actual problem of the development of the theoretical basis of the table databases. The question of the relationship between table algebra of infinite tables and multiset table algebra is considered. Considering the fact that 1-multisets are analogues of ordinary sets, the question arises, is whether table algebra of infinite tables a subalgebra of multiset table algebra. This paper is devoted to this issue. Applying the theorem-plural and logical-algebraic methods found that this is not the case. The table algebra of infinite tables does not form subalgebra of multiset table algebra, since it is not closed in relation to some signature operations of multiset table algebra. Software means of modeling of the vector type of reactive engine control system
The article is devoted to the development of the controller of the vector control system for the engine of a jet fighter, its calculation, modeling with MatLab software package and description in its language VHDL, which is able to control the deviation of the jet engine from the direction corresponding to the cruising regime. The article synthesizes a digital PID regulator to improve quality performance. We develop a general block diagram which shows the necessary sensors from which information is took off, a control unit that performs data processing and transmits the generated signal to actuators (servo drives) for controlling the jet flow in the engine. According to the characteristics of the selected servo, an appropriate transfer function is developed. To improve the control process characteristics, four parallel operating PID regulators, with parallel calculations in each of the PID controller blocks, on one FPGA chip are implemented.Problems in programming 2018; 2-3: 296-30
The usage of computer vision in the system of digital cutting of materials
An approach to the implementation of the computer vision system for recognizing and positioning objects on the cutting surface of machines for digital cutting of materials with the help of a photograph of their working surface with the marked cutting objects on it is proposed. Algorithms of the work of the system modules, which are responsible for the calibration of the camera, the recognition of registration marks by two fundamentally different methods, complemented each other, are developed. Pure first-order logics of quasiary predicates
Pure first-order logics of partial and total, single-valued and multi-valued quasiary predicates are investigated. For these logics we describe semantic models and languages, giving special attention in our research to composition algebras of predicates and interpretation classes (sematics), and logical consequence relations for sets of formulas. For the defined relations a number of sequent type calculi is constructed; their characteristic features are extended conditions for sequent closure and original forms for quantifier elimination.Problems in programming 2016; 2-3: 73-8
Optimal placement of a multi-sensor system
We consider the mathematical models for underwater acoustic sensors, the algorithm for threat detection by a multisensory system, optimization problems for placement of such systems. The mathematical methods for optimal sensor placement have been developed. The limit theorem on optimality of sensor placement has been proved.
