Creating a digital twin in meteorological forecasting for a smart city on a mobile platform

    No full text
The article discusses the application of the concept of a digital twin in the field of weather forecasting to create a smart city. A digital twin is a virtual replica of a real object or process that reflects its state in real time. The technologies and methods of creating a digital twin of meteorological conditions for a particular city are analyzed. The importance and prospects of creating a digital twin in meteorological forecastingfor a smart city on a mobile platform are also presented. The paper discusses the design of an application that allows users to provide easy access to up-to-date information on air quality and weather forecasts for different areas of the city, which is becoming especially important due to the growing environmental problems and climate change. It highlights the use of Swift programming languages andthe MapKit and Alamofire frameworks to implement  the application’s functionality, as well as the advantages of the SwiftUI language for rapid development of the front-end. Thus, the digital twin, which reflects the real weather forecasting process, plays a key role in the application, providing users with access to up-to-date weather data and helping them make objective decisions about the impact of climate on health and the environment.Prombles in programming 2023; 3: 40-4

Software package for adaptive training of robot controllers based on neural networks

    No full text
The article deals with the development of a software solution for the application of neuroevolution algorithms when creating a controller for controlling a robotic arm. The main principles of the neuroevolutionary approach for training neural network controllers in tasks requiring reinforcement learning are considered. In particular, the advantages of the adaptive approach are determined for a wide class of scenarios in which the working limb can work: implementation of stable grasping, positioning, manipulation of objects. It is noted that the final result of neuroevolution is an optimal network topology, which makes the model more resource-efficient and easier to analyze. The paper considers a software system that provides the developer with all the necessary tools for modeling the behavior of a robotic agent in environments of various levels of complexity: both two-dimensional and three-dimensional. In addition, the possibility of specifying the state of the agent not only as a set of data from sensors, but also as an image of the current environment from the camera is considered. According to the results of the experiments, the high efficiency of the search for the best solution using the NEAT algorithm is noted. It has been established that the proposed solution allows productively obtaining an effective policy in the form of a neural network, which has a minimal configuration, which will allow to increase the speed of the controller, which is critical for the operation of a real system. Thus, the use of a software solution for the adaptive development of a neuroevolutionary controller for solving tasks with a robotic limb allows to increase the efficiency of the learning process and obtain an optimal network topology.Prombles in programming 2023; 4: 98-10

    Get PDF
The quality of software engineering education is influenced by the consideration of modern industrial trends, IT trends and software development methodologies. The transition to a new level of industry - “Industry 4.0”, characterized by robotics and cyber-social- ization, brings a wave of new, never-before-seen challenges to the field of IT and programming. Under such conditions, it is impos- sible to achieve the desired synergistic effect without the formation of an appropriate informational and educational environment in institutions of higher education. One of the sources of the content of such an environment can be the publications of the world scientific community registered in international scientometric databases. On this basis, it becomes possible not only to provide effec- tive digital educational content, but also to choose and use the latest technological means of learning support. A targeted review of primary sources in the Web of Science Core Collection database made it possible to identify, select, synthesize and evaluate research evidence relevant to the research questions: (i) what technological trends are analyzed in research, (ii) what information technolo- gies are considered in research, (iii) what strategies are reflected in publications to overcome the above challenges of SE teaching and learning. According to the results of the study, we offer to improve   the educational and methodological support of software engineering education based on ontological modeling of the integration of the requirements of modern trends in the development of the industry and the IT sector, international recommendations and the capabilities of technological teaching aids. This approach is a good basis for the processes of intellectualization of information systems of the educational environment and the construction of appropriate technological educational tools on their basis.Prombles in programming 2022; 3-4: 107-11

    Get PDF
This study is devoted to a method that facilitates the task of extracting structure from the text documents using an artificial neural network. The method consists of  data preparation,  building and training the model and results evaluation. Data preparation includes collecting corpora of documents, converting a variety of file formats into plain text, and manual labeling each document structure. Then documents are split into tokens and into paragraphs. The text paragraphs are represented as feature vectors to provide input to the neural network. The model is trained and validated on the selected data subsets. Trained model results evaluation is presented.  The final performance is calculated per label using precision, recall, and F1 measures, and overall average. The trained model can be used to extract sections of documents bearing similar structure.Prombles in programming 2022; 3-4: 154-16

Table interpretation of the temporal description logic LTLALC

    Get PDF
Description logics are widely used to describe and represent knowledge in the Semantic Web. This is a modern and powerful mechanism that provides the possibility of extracting knowledge from already existing ones. Thanks to this, conceptual of subject areas modeling has become one of the fields of application of descriptive logics, taking into account the use of inference mechanisms. Conceptual modeling is used to create databases and knowledge bases. A key issue of the subject area modeling is the ability to monitor the dynamics of changes in the state of the subject area over time. It is necessary to describe not only the current actual state of the database (knowledge bases), but also the background. Temporal descriptive logics are used to solve this problem. They have the same set of algorithmic problems that are presented in conventional descriptive logics, but to them are added questions related to the description of knowledge in time. This refers to the form of time (continuous or discrete), time structure (moments of time, intervals, chains of intervals), time linearity (linear or branched), domain (present, past, future), the concept of “now”, the method of measurement, etc. An urgent task today is to create an algorithm for the temporal interpretation of conventional descriptive logics. That is, to show a way in which temporal descriptive logic can be applied to ordinary descriptive logic. The paper presents an algorithm for temporal interpretation of LTL into ALC. Linear, unbranched time is chosen for the description goal. It is presented in the form of a whole temporal axis with a given linear order on it. Only the future tense is considered. The algorithm contains graphic notations of LTL application in ALC: concepts, concept constructors, roles, role constructors, TBox and ABox. Numerous examples are used to illustrate the application of the algorithm.Prombles in programming 2022; 3-4: 216-23

Identification of the native language of a person

    No full text
With the great increase of population movement, caused either by temporarily needs due to travelling or by long-term ones due to work, etc., there appears a need to improve the processes of movement control and identification of groups of people. The primary need is to identify if a person belongs to a certain nationality or territory of primary residence. In addition, it can be useful for scientific social and political researches, as well as for the field of tourism and entertainment. Such identification of people by language environment can also help to find out more about the cultural environment, which will make possible to predict the preferences of entire groups of customers better. The analysis of the audio recording of the speaker’s speech was divided into 3 stages, each of which contains a defined step-by-step instruction for the processes of data preparation and handling. Firstly, the sound itself was analyzed, because voice and pronunciation are one of the fastest and most effective tools for identifying a person or a group of people. Then the audio recording was converted into text and an analysis of the lexical composition of the studied fragment of the conversation was done. At the end, the results of the program, got in the previous two stages, were compared and the complex evaluations were done according to the criterias determined in the theoretical researches. The mentioned criterias were used with weighting factors assigned to them. As a result, an assumption about the speech environment of the speaker was given by the program. The work also describes the factors which affects the formation of pronunciation and the change of various intonations, the relationship between text and sound. Some dependencies between sound parameters and the pronunciation of sounds in the Russian and Ukrainian languages were mathematically formalized. The topic of the work is wide, as it considers not only lexical, but also acoustic features of speech. In this way, not only changeable or situational qualities are taken into account, for example, the vocabulary of the conversation, but also those ones that are related to the person regardless of the context of the conversation, his or her emotional state or what language he or she is speaking at the very moment. The criterias considered in the work can help to make assumptions about the speaker’s «natural», most familiar language, in other words the language he or she uses most of the time in life.Prombles in programming 2022; 3-4: 271-280

Aspects of the important task solution of creating complex intelligent decision-making support technologies for the identification of techno-ecological event (TEE) and the optimal selection of the sequence of available measures to reduce the life cycle of this TEE in the water area in order to minimize material losses are considered ("CONTROL_TEE" system). In theV.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of NAS of Ukraine, Concern "BaltRobotics" (Ukraine-Poland), NTU of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky KPI" study of the possibility of theoretical development, research and practical implementation of methods and tools that make up the information technology of research design (informational, mathematical, algorithmic, software, technical, organizational support) of robots intended for reconnaissance and neutralization of TEE in a number of environment. For the classifying waves, mathematical models of the propagation of both running and standing waves in the sea area were obtained and solved. The structure of the information storage of the situation center has been developed. In order to create a database wave classification and mathematical and computer modeling were carried out. The deterministic process of sound propagation in a flat waveguide in the homogeneous mode is considered. Special boundary value problems and Cauchy problems are solved for the two-dimensional wave equation and, accordingly, for the Helmholtz equation. Calculation formulas for sound pressure and corresponding to its velocities are obtained in an analytical closed form. In the general case, the tangent and normal components of the velocity vector and the hydrodynamic potential are calculated in the form of Fourier series by the methodology of the works of Bilonosov, Ovsienko, Li, Zinchenko, Zinchenko, Nogin.Prombles in programming 2022; 3-4: 437-44
