    No full text
The paper discusses the Kripke structures of two mathematical models of parallel distributed systems that are presented by Petri detailed net and its component net. Bisimularity of these Kripke structures is displayed. The possibility for checking the validity of the logical formula of temporal logic is established, which gives the desired property of investigated parallel distributed system, using reduced Kripke structure of component Petri net. Prombles in programming 2014; 2-3: 93-9

Description of the web service process. Tabular interpretation

Solving the tasks of web services at the process level is an actual problem for many years. This research is based on the previous ones, where the functional model of the web service and its tasks of this level are formalized by ontologies built on the basis of the descriptive logics. But the functional model is static and does not consider the behavior aspects of the web service. For a formalization of web service behavior, the descriptive logic should be extended by temporal operators. This is the focus of the research. To interpret temporal operators a tabular representation is used. This study extends the tabular interpretation of future temporal operators for LTL ACT previously described. It uses this approach to determine the tabular representation of LTL ACT past tense operators. This paper gives an example of applying the tabular interpretation of LTL ACT to describe the dynamics of a specific application process, namely, the model of the administration of the process of submitting a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. It should be noted that the research presented in the article has certain limitations, because it covers only linear time and does not support branching in time. That is, it does not provide the possibility of formalizing an arbitrary process. The tabular interpretation of temporal operators of non-linear time is the direction of further researches.Prombles in programming 2024; 4: 99-113

This study focuses on the mycorrhizal associations of Rhododendron tomentosum Harmaja with ericoid mycorrhizal fungi, typical for species in the Ericaceae family. The development of these symbiotic relationships varies seasonally and by habitat. Mycorrhizal colonization was studied across different phenological stages in natural populations of R. tomentosum in the Bilokorovytsky forestry, Zhytomyr region (Ukraine). Samples were taken at four stages of the growing season, analyzed morphologically, and quantitatively assessed. The results revealed that colonization peaks at the beginning and end of the vegetation period while declining during flowering and seed maturation. Additionally, we observed both ericoid mycorrhizae and dark septate endophytes (DSE) coexisting within the roots, suggesting that the symbiotic relationship is complex and influenced by multiple factors. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of mycorrhizal dynamics in R. tomentosum and highlight the need for further research on seasonal and environmental influences on these associations

This study analyzes the acclimatization and naturalization processes of hemerophytes in the State Dendrological Park “Trostianets” of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine). The research focuses on the systematic and ecological assessment of 151 alien plant species that were introduced to the park for cultivation. The study reveals that 72 species have escaped from the cultivation area and are actively naturalizing within the park’s spontaneous flora, while 79 species remain within managed plantations. Due to active naturalization, in the spontaneous flora on the park’s territory, among 123 wild alien plants, the majority (58.5 %) are ergasiophygophytes. Among ergasiophygophytes, woody plants predominate (73.6 %).The systematic composition of naturalized species indicates dominance of eudicots (125 species), followed by gymnosperms (18 species) and monocots (seven species). Woody plants, including trees, shrubs, and lianas (the total share is 82.1 %) demonstrate the highest potential for long-term acclimatization and further expansion beyond cultivated areas. By geographical origin, the largest number of acclimatized hemerophytes originates from North America (34.4 %), Asia (24.5 %), and the regions of the Ancient Mediterranean (20.6 %). The research highlights 16 invasive species, with 12 already forming spontaneous populations in the park. Among them, Acer negundo, Parthenocissus inserta, Robinia pseudoacacia, Quercus rubra, and Fraxinus pennsylvanica are actively spreading, forming dense populations within and beyond the park boundaries. Potentially invasive taxa, such as Ailanthus altissima, also demonstrate the ability to establish self-sustaining populations. The spread of certain species, particularly woody lianas like Clematis vitalba and Vitis riparia, suggests a high potential for ecological transformation of local habitats

The features of the biochemical composition (i.e., content of ascorbic acid and carbohydrates) have been determined in ripe fruits of five Ribes species (i.e., R. aureum, R. nigrum, R. alpinum, R. tenue, and R. rubrum). The plants were grown for many years in the collection of the “Оlexandria” State Dendrological Park of the NAS of Ukraine. Among the studied species, the highest content of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) was recorded in R. nigrum fruits (185.4 ± 19.0 mg/100 g), while the lowest was in R. tenue fruits (8.8 ± 1.4 mg/100 g). The highest content of carbohydrates was recorded in R. aureum fruits (9.7 ± 0.6 %), while the lowest was in R. rubrum fruits (1.8 ± 0.1 %). Over 60 % of the total sugar content was represented by invert sugars – fructose prevails, and glucose was much less present. The obtained results have practical value and can be applied in plant breeding to obtain adapted interspecific hybrids and new promising varieties of the genus Ribes

This paper examines the impact of personal wartime experience on the development of creative thinking and professional approaches in landscape architecture. Using the example of Leonid Ivanovych Rubtsov, an outstanding specialist in mountain plants and the founder of the Mountain Garden at the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine, this study analyzes the role of visual materials collected by him during the World War II. Postcards, photographs, and illustrations found among ruins became significant visual sources influencing compositional and spatial decisions in the formation of the garden’s exposition. The content of this collection, its significance for the scientific understanding of natural high-mountain landscapes, and its impact on practical design stages are examined. The study demonstrates how personal memories, historical contexts, and scientific activity were embodied in the creation of a landscape space that today also performs memorial and cultural functions

Synthesis of evolutionary mechanisms in the development of an adaptive optimization algorithm

    No full text
The article develops an effective method for solving optimization problems based on the synthesis of evolution ary mechanisms of nature’s development, which are based on the principles of genetic search for the best solu tions. It analyzes evolutionary concepts of biological species development by such well-known scientists as Ch. Darwin, J. Lamarck, Hugo de Vries, K. Popper, and M. Kimura. The key mechanisms for the emergence of new individuals with better adaptation (the best solutions) are identified. Based on the known relevant concepts, the main provisions of the theory of evolution are developed. Corresponding models are constructed, which in turn become computational analogies for the development of evolutionary methods for solving optimization prob lems. An optimization method has been developed based on a genetic algorithm, which is based on the basic operators of evolution: reproduction (selection), crossover, and mutation. A distinctive feature of the proposed approach is the hybridization of the classical genetic algorithm with adaptive mechanisms for parameter tuning and local improvement of solutions. The genetic algorithm used reproduction operators (tournament and roulette wheel selection), single- and double-point crossover, and mutation. This allows for an increase in the efficiency of global search in terms of convergence (number of computational iterations) and solution accuracy (average absolute error of the solution at 100 runs), as well as avoiding the stopping of the computational process at local extrema. Based on the developed optimization method, a genetic algorithm has been created that incorporates all the mechanisms of evolutionary computation. A genetic algorithm has been developed that contains all the mech anisms of evolutionary computation. Based on the genetic algorithm, model problems of multi-criteria optimi sation were calculated in Python in binary coding of the optimal solution (OneMax, LeadingOnes) and in coding of the solution using real numbers (two-extreme function). In the corresponding test problems, the stable achieve ment of the global extremum of the objective function and the stability of the algorithm were recorded. This allows us to conclude that the proposed method of optimizing multi-criteria functions based on genetic algo rithms is effective.Prombles in programming 2025; 3: 53-6

This project focuses on adapting Ukraine’s nature reserve areas to meet modern societal challenges, ensuring barrier-free access to natural assets for visitors of all abilities. The creation of a multifunctional sensory location using native plant species in the Park “Feofaniya” (Kyiv, Ukraine), as in this project, is a practical implementation of the National Strategy for the Formation of a Barrier-Free Space. A prospective plant fund (up to 40 plant names, including native and introduced species) has been established to stimulate different sensitive organs of humans and enhance the therapeutic function of the sensory area. The multilevel design, based on the concept of mixborders, serves both decorative and functional purposes. The multisensory zone enhances existing park elements, helping to maintain a cognitive connection to nature for all categories of visitors. The proposed landscape design also includes improvements to existing park features, ensuring wheelchair users and individuals with other physical limitations have unrestricted access to safe and tactile plant compositions. To promote informational accessibility, key elements of the sensory mixborders are complemented by informational plaques and audio materials about individual types of plants used. This initiative aims to create an environment that fosters physical, emotional, and social well-being, enhances quality of life, and raises awareness about plants, providing diverse sensory experiences for people with reduced mobility. An innovative form of urban green zone for a wide range of users is being created by leveraging the existing potential of the Park “Feofaniya” and publicly available technologies. By implementing this project, the recreational zones of nature conservation areas in Ukraine will be better equipped to address contemporary societal challenges and contribute to recovery efforts in the post-war period
