Technological developments have changed the way business is done in Indonesia, pushing companies to adapt quickly. Both digital and non-digital technologies play an important role in managing an increasingly connected and competitive business. In the logistics sector, especially in procurement, technology plays an important role in improving efficiency and transparency. The provision of resources through procurement is a key aspect of logistics management, which requires appropriate regulations and policies to ensure effective fulfillment of needs. This procurement process often involves bidding, both with local and international companies, to select qualified and suitable providers. However, the procurement process certainly has some problems such as the non-processing of a document. One of the state-owned companies that has implemented e-procurement is PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS). This study aims to identify the application of the e-procurement system and inhibiting factors in the application of the e-procurement system in the process of procuring goods and services at PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS). The research method used by the author is descriptive qualitative. The data used by the author is obtained through interviews with supporting data related to the problems that occur. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the e-procurement system at PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) has not run optimally because there are still inhibiting factors, namely human resources who have not mastered e-procurement, unstable internet and system errors. Keywords: Implementation System, E-Procurement, Procurement of Goods and Service

Objective: This study addresses the issue of improving the learning outcomes of grade II students in Indonesian language subjects, specifically focusing on beginning reading through the phonics method. The aim is to enhance students' reading skills and overall academic performance in this area. Method: The research was conducted in two cycles, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. The data were analyzed to assess student learning outcomes, and consultations were made with established success criteria to measure progress. Observations during each cycle helped identify key areas for improvement, such as the need for clearer explanation of learning objectives, use of media, and fostering student engagement.  Results:  In the pre-cycle, several shortcomings were identified, such as the lack of a clear explanation of learning objectives, absence of media and props, and insufficient opportunities for students to express opinions. In Cycle 1, while improvements were made, there were still issues, such as the teacher's failure to encourage student participation. Cycle II showed further improvements, with better motivation and more engaging teaching methods. As a result, student learning outcomes improved significantly across both cycles.  Novelty: This research demonstrates that the phonics method can effectively enhance the learning outcomes of grade II students in Indonesian language subjects related to beginning reading. The study highlights the importance of teacher engagement, the use of varied teaching strategies, and motivation in fostering better student performance

REVIEW: THE ROLE OF VITAMIN D SUPPLEMENTATION IN REDUCING THE RISK OF ALZHEIMER'S IN ELDERLY PATIENTS

    Get PDF
Global challenges are increasing as the prevalence of dementia increases. Dementia is considered a multifactorial disease. Dementia is a general term used to describe a range of symptoms that affect memory, thinking and the ability to perform daily activities. Alzheimer's is one of the most common types of dementia, accounting for 75% of all dementia cases. The method used in this article review is the contrast method. The contrast method is a journal/article review method by looking for differences between several research journals and then drawing conclusions. The results showed that alzheimer's is a growing health problem worldwide. The disease burdens the individual as well as the patient's family, which negatively affects the quality of life related to memory and cognitive function. Memory decline or dementia is most common in older people, caused by Alzheimer's disease. . The study concluded that vitamin D supplementation has the potential to reduce the risk of Alzheimer's in elderly patients. Vitamin D is known to play an important role in brain development and function, as well as cognition. Several studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency may increase the risk of cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's, while vitamin D supplementation may improve cognitive function and reduce beta-amyloid accumulation in the brain. However, the results are mixed and limitations remain, so further studies with better designs and larger samples are needed to confirm these findings and understand the underlying biological mechanism

    Get PDF
In the evolving landscape of corporate finance, the role of Accounting Information Systems (AIS), transparency, and accountability in influencing financial performance remains a critical area of investigation. Despite the extensive literature on AIS, transparency, and accountability, there is limited empirical evidence on their direct impact on financial performance within contemporary organizational contexts. Previous studies have often overlooked the nuanced effects of these variables on financial outcomes, particularly in diverse organizational settings. This study aims to elucidate the relationship between AIS, transparency, and accountability, and their combined effect on financial performance, using agency theory and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory as analytical frameworks. Data collected from 50 employees across various divisions via social media questionnaires were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The analysis revealed that AIS did not significantly impact financial performance, whereas transparency and accountability exhibited a positive and significant relationship with financial performance. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating the differential impact of transparency and accountability versus AIS on financial performance, highlighting the need for a refined focus on transparency and accountability practices. The findings underscore the importance of enhancing transparency and accountability mechanisms to better align with corporate financial performance objectives. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers and corporate managers aiming to optimize financial outcomes through improved organizational practices

Education has undergone a significant transformation along with the development of technology. The technological development of Era 4.0 marks a change in the educational landscape, giving rise to the concept of "Merdeka Belajar" as an approach that allows students to organise their own learning. In addition, the role of teachers is becoming increasingly important in this context, on the one hand teachers need a deep understanding of the competencies needed in this digital era. In the technological development of the 4.0 era, teachers are not only required to have high digital competence as an inspirational model for students. Teacher competence in Era 4.0 lies not only in technological proficiency, but also in understanding individual student differences and facilitating learning that accommodates diversity itself. This is apparently what initiated the independent learning approach in the technological development of Era 4.0. Due to continuous changes in the education paradigm, it requires in-depth reflection on how Merdeka Belajar can be applied and how teachers can develop relevant competencies. This paper aims to comprehensively explore the concept of Merdeka Belajar and the dynamics of teacher competence in Era 4.0 by basing it on the latest research

The increasing needs of the community in using safety devices on motorbikes, this has led to the creation of safety devices on motorbikes. This security system uses two microcontrollers that are interconnected by using Bluetooth. Bluetooth will detect a connection between the motorcycle and the house, this connection will continuously issue a signal and disconnected if the motorcycle and the house are not connected. Then the disconnection will be used as input data by the microcontroller and processed, so as to make the alarm sound and the electric motorcycle dies. Then there is a notification via SMS to the owner according to the time period that has been set in the program which is five seconds
