ACCURACY ANALYSIS OF DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM APPLICATIONS USING THE WEIGHTED PRODUCT METHOD FOR SELECTING THE BEST TEACHER
Objective: This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Weighted Product (WP) method in improving objectivity and efficiency in the decision-making process for selecting the best teachers at SMP Cahaya Islam. The WP method was selected due to its ability to provide measurable assessments through weighted calculations on predefined attributes. Method: A web-based Decision Support System (DSS) application was developed using the WP method. The application incorporated assessment criteria, including Lesson Planning, Lesson Implementation, Learning Outcome Assessment, Training and Mentorship, Additional Duties, and Professional Development. Results: The evaluation results showed that the WP-based DSS application produced consistent and accurate assessments, achieving a 100% accuracy level compared to manual assessment methods. Additionally, the application improved objectivity, making the selection process more structured, transparent, and accountable. Novelty: This study highlights the implementation of a WP-based DSS application to enhance transparency and efficiency in teacher selection. The developed system ensures objective and effective performance assessments, contributing to improved educational quality at SMP Cahaya Islam

OPTIMIZATION OF FLOOR CERAMIC PRODUCTION PROFIT USING SIMPLEX METHOD AND SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS
Objective: This study aims to find the optimal production strategy by considering these limitations. Method: Simplex method based on linear programming using LINGO software is applied to determine the best production combination. Results: The results of the analysis show that to obtain optimal profits of Rp680,963,542, the company needs to produce 14,815 m² of 60×60 granite, 21,297 m² of 60×60 ceramic, and 8,334 m² of 60×120 ceramic. This figure is 3% higher or equivalent to IDR 21,103,292 compared to the initial profit of IDR 659,860,250. Sensitivity analysis shows that all selected production variables have a reduced cost of zero, indicating that production conditions are optimal. A price change to the lower bound could potentially decrease revenue by 5% to Rp625,515,731, while an increase in price to the upper bound could increase revenue by 13% to Rp745,599,549. This result shows that there is flexibility in adjusting prices to maximize profits. Novelty: The problem of optimization in achieving maximum profit due to limited machine capacity and production targets is a challenge for ceramic companies
DOES AUDIT FIRMS REPUTATION MATTER? FIRM AND AUDIT CHARACTERISTICS IN AUDITOR SWITCHING ON INDONESIAN ENERGY COMPANIES
Objective: This study aims to investigate the role of audit firms' reputation as a moderating variable in the relationship between company characteristics and audit characteristics affecting auditor switching decisions. The focus is on energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Method: The research utilizes panel data from 55 energy companies, selected through purposive sampling from a population of 79 companies, covering the period 2018–2021. Logistic regression and moderated regression analysis were performed using SPSS 26 to analyze the data. Results: The findings reveal that audit opinion, audit delay, and financial distress have a significant influence on auditor switching. Additionally, the reputation of audit firms moderates the relationship between financial distress and auditor switching, emphasizing its critical role in shaping such decisions. Novelty: This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the moderating effect of audit firms' reputation in the context of Indonesia's energy sector. It offers valuable insights for stakeholders in emerging markets to understand auditor switching dynamics and make informed decisions in the audit environment
