Comment on 'Focus on Sedimentary Environments: The study of depositional processes and environments at scales from the landscape to the microscope'
This is great! I just finished a class on sedimentology/stratigraphy and this will help sharpen interpretive skills. I like the thumbnail design, and the question and answer format for the student to try and figure it out first.
Teaching Tip on 'WhaleTimes'
After students research a marine animal topic at the library (or on WhaleTimes' Fishin' for Facts pages), they can ask "Jake, the SeaDog" a specific question or two inspired by the research. This interaction is also good for ESL students to practice skills.
