I have participated in it for two years both fall and spring and will continue in the future. Besides science skills, it gives kids experiences in writing, reading, math and social studies. No full textThe students need more activities to foster understanding about how the number of daylight hours can affect the temperature. Also, they needed more activities converting hours into minutes.
I had to work out the activities with them as opposed to the students solving the problems themselves.
