USE OF IMAGE MEDIA IMPROVES STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES SCIENCE SUBJECTS CLASSIFICATION OF ANIMALS BASED ON THEIR FOOD TYPES IN CLASS V OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Get PDFObjective: This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of animal classification based on food type at SDN 15 Pulau Rimau, addressing the low achievement caused by traditional teaching methods. Method: A classroom action research approach was employed, utilizing scientific models and visual media to enhance understanding and engagement. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through descriptive analysis, in collaboration with the classroom teacher. Results: The use of scientific models and image media significantly improved student participation and learning outcomes. Observations during both cycles showed increased student engagement and a better grasp of the material. Novelty: This study contributes to the field by demonstrating the effectiveness of combining scientific teaching models with visual aids to foster active learning and improve academic performance, particularly in science education
THE USE OF HAND PUPPETS TO IMPROVE SPEAKING SKILLS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD AT RA DARUNNAJAH
Get PDFObjective: This research aims to improve speaking skills in early childhood at RA Darunnajah through the use of hand puppets as an interactive learning media. Methods: A classroom action research design with two cycles was used, involving direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The study focused on measuring the effectiveness of hand puppets in enhancing speaking skills. Results: The use of hand puppet media significantly increased children’s active participation in speaking, expanded their vocabulary, and boosted their self-confidence. Storytelling activities with hand puppets created a dynamic and engaging learning environment that supported language development. Novelty: This study highlights the impact of creative media, such as hand puppets, on improving early childhood speaking skills, especially for children who are shy or lack confidence in speaking
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD BERBANTUAN MEDIA BIG BOOK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS IV SD
Get PDFLearning is an activity carried out by educators in a programmed manner which can create a process of interaction between students and other students, educators and students and students and learning resources. In this study, researchers used Probability Sampling with a simple random sampling type, which means it is the simplest sample determining technique with a sample of 30 students. Data collection techniques use pretest and posttest test methods. The type of design used is One Group Pretest – Posttest Design and uses a quantitative approach. The population used was 30 students in class IV at SD Negeri Candiharjo. In the N-Gain test, the average result from the pretest was 46.667, while the posttest mean was 81.967 with a total of N or samples of 30, 16 male students and 14 female students. Based on the test data for the validity of the question items, normal data was also obtained with a total of 0.158, then entered into the Eta Square Test formula to get a final calculation result of 0.875, which indicates an increase in the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by Big Book media. It can be concluded that the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by Big Book media at Candiharjo State Elementary School has a great influence on students' learning outcomes

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model problem based learning. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu, planning, action, observation dan reflection. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV UPTD SDN 2 Rajabasa Baru yang terdiri dari 26 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dimulai dari tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keaktifan peserta didik dinilai berdasarkan partisipasi dalam diskusi, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kerjasama dalam kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada tahap prasiklus persentase keaktifan sebesar 46,15%, siklus I sebesar 73,08% dan pada siklus II sebesar 88,46%. Hasil belajar diukur menggunakan tes tertulis. Pada tahap prasiklus persentase hasil belajar sebesar 42,30%, siklus I sebesar 65,38% dan siklus II sebesar 84,62%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan tercapainya indikator keberhasilan dengan kategori sangat baik. Simpulannya yaitu penggunaan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik

Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yaitu peneliti melakukan review dan identifikasi jurnal-jurnal sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada. Metode pengumpulan artikel jurnal ini bersumber dari Google Scholar, Garba Rujukan Digital (GARUDA), dan Publish or Perish. Pengumpulan data artikel memakai metode Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome (PICO). Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa analisis jabatan dan desain pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perencanaan sumber daya manusia. Analisis jabatan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dan kompetensi organisasi. Kemudian analisis jabatan juga berperan penting dalam penentuan isi dari jabatan yang terdiri dari tugas yang akan dikerjakan, tanggung jawab, keterkaitan antara jabatan satu dengan yang lain, dan syarat yang harus dipenuhi. Selain itu analisis jabatan diperlukan untuk memahami spesifikasi jabatan, deskripsi kerja, lama waktu kerja, dan gaji karyawan. Dengan pelaksanaan analisis jabatan yang sesuai maka akan menjadi basis data ketika melaksanakan perencanaan karyawan baik sekarang maupun masa yang akan datang. The principal ought to pay more attention to the teacher's labor discipline because this is an ongoing issue. The principal must possess a strong spirit of leadership in order to effectively discipline teachers who fail to perform their duties. The goals of the study that was done are as follows: 1) comprehending the principal's leadership role in enhancing teacher and employee work discipline; 2) being aware of the challenges the principal faces in enhancing teacher and employee work discipline. This study employs a subjective engagement methodology and a writing survey technique to select information from books, journals, and articles related to the subject under investigation. The review reveals that the principal's responsibility for further developing the work discipline of educators and education personnel consistently fosters a sense of responsibility, particularly as a pioneer, superintendent, and inspiration in the school climate. The principal's role in enhancing teacher discipline is determined by the leadership style and strategy they employ. FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KINERJA GURU: LITERATURE REVIEW
Get PDFThis study aims to obtain a theoretical basis that can support solving the problem being studied on the effect of motivation and work stress on teacher performance. The theory obtainer is the first step so that researchers can better understand the problemed being researched correctly according to a scientific framework. The method used in this research is a literature review. Researchers select the feasibility of research articles based on the background of the article, research methods, discussed results, discussion and conclusions. In this study, the data source used is secondary data sources. An article search was carried out via the lens.org website to conduct a literature search with the keywords "motivation" "stress" and "teacher performance" in the range of 2020 to 2023. As a result, there were 61 article findings. Then the researcher used the keyword "work motivation" there were 10,386 articles. Then the keyword "work stress" has 2,498 articles. And the keyword "teacher performance" contains 5,206 articles. The next step, analyzing the Literature Review method on five articles that match the keywords. The results obtained, namely, the variables of motivation and stress have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance directly. This is based on previous research findings in several educational institutions in Indonesia. Teacher performance is influenced by motivation and work stress. Variables of motivation and work stress cannot act independently. Reviewing the research that has been done, the findings obtained regarding the description of the influence of motivation and work stress on teachers in Indonesia are considered not to be able to walk alone. No full textIn language, reading ability is an important basis in the learning process. Moreover, the ability to read must be mastered by every student. The implementation of offline learning after the Covid 19 pandemic, many students in elementary school especially lower grades were able to sound out letters even though they did not understand the text they were reading. Students had lack of ability to read and difficult to understand for them to receive learning material. Then, it is necessary to utilize technology which has developed rapidly every day in learning process. By bringing up new innovations regarding the Scrabble game learning media in elementary school students’ reading, this research aims to motivate the reading process of elementary school students. This game can motivate students to read vocabulary with concrete objects related to their daily life, including the environment around them. This research uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The results of this research show that students obtained a score of 91% (Very Good), class teachers 94% (Very Good), and 96% (Very Good) from teachers in the Computer Science Technology subject. It is proven from the results of obtaining these scores that the Scrabble game can be used as a reading support material for elementary school students
