UNLICENSED MEDICAL PRACTICE AND INSTITUTIONAL SILENCE: A CASE STUDY ON PMDC’S INEFFECTIVE RESPONSE AND THE IMPLICATIONS FOR PUBLIC HEALTH AND NATIONAL INTEGRITY.
The most critical issue of unauthorized practice of medicine by unregistered individuals is claiming to be registered medical practitioners/military personnel has turned into major area of public health concern in Pakistan. With a particular lens on impersonation and quackery, this research elaborates upon the systemic issues that exist when it comes to keeping doctors in check, and questions whether PMDC is the right institution to undertake this responsibility. Adopting a qualitative approach, interviews were conducted comprising 10 health care employees, 10 medical fraud victims, and 10 regulatory authorities, through using case studies. Furthermore, secondary data from local reports, media articles and related literature were examined to better understand this issue. [The study found several serious issues, such as the PMDCs informal enforcement of medical laws, illegal use of military grades by impostors and the adverse effects on patient health as well as resulting institutional disgrace.] Results: Thematic and narrative analyses of interview data revealed that both victims and health care practitioners harbored serious concerns about the emergence of quackery and the limited measures that regulatory bodies were taking to address it. The paper suggests several policy solutions to curb these issues such as enhancing the verification process, making it illegal to impersonate military ranks, introducing a public black book, and increasing public awareness about unqualified practitioners. According to its analysis, Pakistan can combat the growth of illegal medical practice, safeguard public health, and regain trust in its healthcare systems by enhancing regulatory monitoring and legal action

BRIDGING THE GAP: EFFECTIVE PARENT COMMUNICATION AND ENGAGEMENT IN DIVERSE EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS
This article examines the importance of parent communication and involvement in working with students from diverse-as well as often trauma-impacted immigrant and refugee communities-to foster academic and social development. Using a qualitative research design, the article explores the challenges and opportunities in building relationships between schools and families for immigrant and refugee students by examining the experiences of 10 educators, 10 school administrators and 10 parents from this population. In particular, the research describes the experiences of families who have been displaced from conflict settings, mainly from Afghanistan, and the challenges parents face when interacting with the U.S. public education system. Many parents find it difficult to understand what is expected of them by the U.S. educational system, parents - particularly those who have been detained or displaced - cannot engage with their children's education due to emotional and psychological barriers. The study highlights the need for trauma-informed models such as safe and supportive school environments for children and their families to better meet the unique needs of these populations. In addition, the study uncovered the important role of community-based organizations in mediating between schools and immigrant families by offering vital resources and offering guidance on how to negotiate the educational system. The research also emphasizes the need for empathy-informed practices to address families’ emotional and cultural needs and experiences of conflict zones. “Meeting them halfway” by demonstrating cultural competence and offering frequent, empathetic communication, educators and school leaders can create solid relationships with the immigrant and refugee parents, which will benefit the schooling experiences of school children. This research adds to the relatively small literature on parent engagement in complex school systems throughout diverse education programs, and provides specific ideas for better communicating and supporting immigrant and refugee families within school contexts
Research on folk plastic arts in interior decoration design based on big data under the environment of sustainable development
Research purpose: under the environment of modern big data technology, through the application and development of artificial intelligence, 3D modeling and other computer technologies; Bring the design field of our country from two- dimensional to three-dimensional development; By combining the traditional folk plastic arts and cultural background of our country and integrating national art into the current interior decoration design, even if the development of the design field has more innovative elements, it also provides a new channel for the inheritance and development of our folk culture and art; This paper will analyze and study the application of big data technology in indoor decoration and the integration of folk art modeling from the perspective of sustainable development, and understand the advantages of big data technology application and the impact of inheriting folk art.Through the overall effect of folk modeling art in interior decoration under sustainable development environment and ordinary environment, as well as its performance analysis and coupling under different technologies, it is statistically significant, It is obvious that the analysis and research in the environment of sustainable development is better than the previous ordinary environment. In the environment of sustainable development, interior decoration design based on big data. With the help of computer-aided integration of information technology, the combination of data and design breaks the inherent thinking mode of traditional design.Through the combination of network communication technology, As well as the virtual scene of VR technology, it can realize three-dimensional dynamic image, and can observe all corners of the space in an all-round way, so that people can have a clearer understanding of the decorative design style, computer technology, etc., and the full integration of folk plastic arts, the ideal effect of interior decoration design can be met to a great extent, making interior decoration show unique art, Help promote its development
SHOULD ECOLOGICAL ENTREPRENEURS IGNORE THE EQUITY OF DEVELOPMENT? INSIGHTS FROM THE SATYAMEV JAYATE WATER CUP BY PAANI FOUNDATION
What should be the right approach to water harvesting and management: (1) convenience,(2) prudence, or (3) the integration of both? The convenience approach refers to the tendency of governments and organizations to focus largely on increasing the supply of water without telling citizens to use water rationally. The prudence approach insists on the minimal and judicious use of water, something governments seldom tell citizens for the fear of losing popularity. The integration approach absorbs the best methods and technology available to intervene in the supply as well as demand side of water. With a focus on the integration approach, this study undertakes a case analysis of the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup (SJWC) by Paani Foundation that converted many draught-prone regions of the Maharashtra state of India into water-sufficient and prosperous zones by utilizing low-cost, indigenous knowledge systems and eco-friendly measures. The study aims to highlight the limitations of this massive socio-ecological campaign in the context of water management and governance
