THE REALITY OF THE ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OF ALGERIAN WOMEN: ACCORDING TO INTERNATIONAL INDICATORS OF EMPOWERMENT
This research paper aims to determine the level of economic empowerment of Algerian women according to international indicators. The study also seeks to answer the main question of whether Algeria has the potential to enhance the level of economic empowerment of Algerian women and whether there is a real and actual will to achieve economic empowerment. To address the subject of the study on the status of Algerian women and their place in work within Algerian society between what reality imposes and what it faces in terms of challenges, both the case study method and the institutional legal approach were used to identify the indicators of economic empowerment in addition to identifying the most important legislation and legal reforms. The study found that there is a contrast between what the legislation and laws stipulate, and the practice and implementation of plans and programs based on gender in accordance with the principle of equal opportunity. The study concluded that despite the government's efforts to enact laws in accordance with the principle of equal opportunity, the reality proves that the efforts to economically empower Algerian women still have a long way to go to achieve this
EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS ON THE EFFECTS OF OPENING UP ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN ALGERIAN RURAL STEPPIQUE AREAS
This study aims to highlight the causal relationship between Infrastructure for opening up and economic growth in the municipality of Ksar Chellala in Algeria, which benefited from infrastructure development programs to combat its spatial and social isolation. By adopting an econometric approach based on the Cobb-Douglas production function over the period (2000-2020), the results showed that infrastructure for opening up triggered an increase in production through the strong direct causal link. Telecommunications have far impacted it, because its elasticity of 1% led to an increase of 0.93%, while they are around 0.65% for roads and electricity. The conclusions call for the continuation of operations and to give as much attention to their quality, their maintenance as well as their bioeconomic benefits
STUDYING THE LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOVERNANCE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH DURING THE PERIOD Q1 2010-Q4 2021- A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN ALGERIA AND EGYPT
The study aimes at search for the relationship between governance and economic growth during the period Q12010-Q42021. The data has been converted to quarterly in order to study the relationship between the variables in the long term. Depending on (the index of effective governance, the rule of law, and administrative corruption) as independent variables, (the rate of economic growth) as a dependent variable, based on the VECM model. The results of the Johnson test showed the existence of a co-integration relationship between the indicators of good governance and economic growth, and the existence of an equilibrium relationship in the long term, while there is a unidirectional causal relationship between the governance effectiveness index and the administrative corruption index in Algeria, and the existence of a unidirectional causal relationship that goes from the effectiveness of governance towards administrative corruption in Egypt and the absence of the relationship in the opposite direction. In addition to the presence of a negative impact of each of the indicators of effectiveness of governance and administrative corruption on economic growth, and from it, the relationship between them is an inverse relationship in both Algeria and Egypt. It was also concluded that there is a positive effect of the rule of law indicator on economic growth, and from it the relationship is a positive relationship
THE IMPACT OF THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF ISLAMIC BANKS ON ECONOMIC GROWTH : (A PANEL DATA ANALYSIS)
This study analyses the impact of the financial performance of Islamic banks on economic growth (GDP) in all of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar. For this purpose, it uses Panel data methodology for the period from 2014-2021. The estimation results show that the financial performance of Islamic finance through profitability had a significant positive impact on economic growth. the empirical investigation found that the CPI, which is the proxy variable for inflation is statistically significant and negative for economic growth consistent with the economic conception
" EXPLORING THE NEXUS OF LEADERSHIP STYLES AND EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION: A CASE STUDY OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR IN MAURITIUS "
Recognizing the critical importance of employee motivation in contemporary settings, government agencies and businesses alike are actively prioritizing strategies to boost staff morale. A central determinant of success in this endeavor is the leadership style adopted by managers, influencing their ability to inspire and effectively lead teams. This research is specifically focused on identifying the most effective leadership style within the public sector of Mauritius, with a primary objective of elevating employee motivation levels. Employing both descriptive and explanatory research strategies, the study utilizes a quantitative approach to provide numerical insights into the impact of leadership styles on employee motivation. The target population consists of public sector employees in Mauritius. Pearson Correlation and Multiple Linear Regression tests demonstrated significant positive correlations between leadership styles and employee motivation. Transformational leadership demonstrates a robust positive correlation, along with transactional leadership. Surprisingly, laissez-faire leadership also exhibits a positive correlation, suggesting autonomy may enhance motivation. Democratic leadership has a high positive correlation, and unexpectedly, autocratic leadership shows a positive correlation, challenging conventional perceptions
THE ROLE OF ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE IN ENHANCING CONFIDENCE IN COMPANIES' ACCOUNTING DISCLOSURES IN THE ALGERIAN ACCOUNTING ENVIRONMENT
This study aims to highlight the role of accounting knowledge in enhancing confidence in companies' accounting disclosures in the Algerian accounting environment through the challenges faced by accountants in Algeria. To address the study problem and test the hypotheses, a descriptive analysis method and the SPSS program were used to analyze the correlation between the accounting knowledge and the confidence in accounting disclosures for companies in the Algerian accounting environment. The study concluded that accounting knowledge contributes significantly to enhancing confidence in companies' accounting disclosures
A STATISTICAL STUDY OF THE CONTRIBUTION OF SMES IN ALGERIAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT A CASE STUDY OF THE PERIOD 2012-2021
This study aims to quantify the contribution of Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) to socio-economic development through the analysis of its contribution to Employment, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Added Value outside of Hydrocarbon and Foreign Trade. A statistical study was conducted on the evolution of these indicators during the period between 2012 and 2021 to highlight the importance of SMEs which recorded a continuous evolvement in the creation of jobs and wealth demonstrated by the share of added value. Despite this modest contribution, the findings showed that the role of SMEs in exports remains insufficient, which belays the dependence on rentier economy
AN ANALYTICAL STUDY ON THE CONTRIBUTION OF SYMBIOTIC INSURANCE COMPANIES IN FINANCING INVESTMENT PROJECTS - THE CASE OF SALAMA INSURANCE COMPANY IN ALGERIA
This study aims to shed light on Symbiotic insurance companies, which have become one of the main institutions within the contemporary Islamic financial system as an alternative to conventional insurance companies, on the one hand, and on the one hand, and on the one hand, to identify the reality of the practical role of Symbiotic insurance companies in financing investment projects and supporting local development by applying to Salama Insurance Company in Algeria. Investment is a major objective as much as it is interested in compensating for the damages suffered by the participants in its insurance contract and therefore has no practical contribution to financing investment in the various financing formulas adopted by the company at the theoretical level.  
INTERNET ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE IRAQI RESTAURANT INDUSTRY
With the corona virus epidemic, people's lifestyle changed. Many industries and services, including the restaurant industry, faced serious problems. And this increased the interest in internet entrepreneurship as a possible solution. In this regard, the main goal of the current research is to investigate the impact of some dimensions of Internet entrepreneurship on the purchase intention of customers in the restaurant industry of Iraq. This research has been carried out with a practical purpose and in a descriptive-survey manner. The statistical population of this research is all customers of online food ordering websites in Iraq, whose number of users is unknown and more than 10,000 people. The sampling method is available and based on Morgan's table, 384 people were considered as the sample size. A questionnaire was used to collect information. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by referring to experts' opinions and factor analysis. Cronbach's alpha method was also used to measure reliability. Then, the relationship between the variables was analyzed by the method of structural equations in Smart pls software. The results showed that the visual attractiveness of online menus, the sufficiency of online menu information, the perception of risk-taking have a positive and significant effect on consumers' willingness to order food online in Iraq. The perception of risktaking has a positive and significant effect on the perceived convenience of consumers of online restaurant stores in Iraq. The convenience of customers to order food online and the desire of consumers have a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of customers of online restaurant stores in Iraq
THE IMPACT OF OPENNESS ECONOMIC AND ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK PROJECTS ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN THE ALGERIA ECONOMY
This study aims to illustrate the importance of IDB projects in developing economic growth in Algeria through economic openness. This study used the multiple regression of Algeria's economy from 1980-2022. The study found a positive and significant impact of FDI, per capita, and total population growth on Algeria's economic growth and a negative impact of inflation on growth. Through the results of this study, decision-makers in Algeria's economy can rely on this study to develop their economies through IDB projects. Researchers and academics can also benefit from the results of this study as a study that opens up new prospects for the topic in the future
