This study delves into the significance of human capital investment in fostering sustainable development in Algeria, spanning a comprehensive three- decade period from 1992 to 2021.
To emphasize the role of this investment in bolstering one of the cornerstones of sustainable development, particularly the economic dimension, we have meticulously selected variables intricately tied to human capital. These chosen variables are pivotal to our endeavor to elucidate the interplay between human capital and sustainable development.
Through this approach, we aim to provide a nuanced comprehension of how investments in various facets of human capital, including education, skill enhancement, and vocational training, can serve as catalysts for both economic growth and the promotion of sustainable development. Moreover, our strategic variable selection extends beyond immediate impacts, seeking to unveil the enduring effects that ripple through time, shaping the economic landscape and paving the way for a sustainable future.
Our methodology employs the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) model, a robust framework for our analysis. The results we've obtained corroborate the notion that investments in human capital, in all their diverse forms, exert a positive influence on both the economic growth and the sustainable development of Algeria throughout the study period
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF GOOD GOVERNANCE INDICATORS IN ALGERIA
This research paper aims to assess the governance status in Algeria through a descriptive analysis of the Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI). These indicators encompass six sub-indices, each assessing a dimension of good governance, including anti-corruption efforts, government effectiveness, political stability and absence of violence, regulatory quality, rule of law, and voice and accountability. Despite the Algerian government's efforts to implement various measures and regulations aimed at bolstering the principles of good governance, the findings of the study indicate that Algeria's performance across these indicators remains notably deficient. This deficit underscores persistent challenges and shortcomings within Algeria's governance framework, highlighting the need for continued reforms and concerted efforts to address underlying issues and enhance governance practices in the country
BILATERAL PEACE AND SECURITY: ROLE OF CHINESE ECONOMIC ENGAGEMENT IN CENTRAL ASIA
The relationship between peace and economic interdependence is one of the oldest debates in the field of international relations. Liberals contend that growing economic interconnectedness will reduce the likelihood of war since neither side will be willing to pay the opportunity costs of a military confrontation. Realists like Waltz argued that while interdependence helps to promote peace in some ways, it also increases the likelihood of conflicts. Dale Copeland used viewpoints from both sides to make the case that, depending on expectations for the future trading environment, interdependence might result in peace. The subject of whether economic interdependence leads to peace needs to be re-examined in light of the current trade war. Furthermore, it makes the case that the Chinese optimistic expectations for the state of trade in the future are what led to increase in peace in the region

Exchange rate, Investment, and Industrial Development: Revisiting their role in bringing Economic Growth to Pakistan
The goal of this study is to better understand how Pakistan's economic growth is influenced by factors such as investment, industrial development, and exchange rates. From 1974 to 2020, data from Pakistan of various have been used for the analysis. The empirical findings demonstrated a long-term relationship between the variables of the study using the Autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model in Pakistan. The performance of economic growth was observed to have a positive correlation with the labor force participation rate, and investments were observed to have a strong positive correlation with economic growth. According to the findings of the study, Pakistan should develop policies that align the exchange rate with the sector's actual demands to boost investment and economic growth. The policy must be based on a comprehensive understanding of both the various industry segments and the broader trends that affect them. According to conventional wisdom, devaluations of the currency are frequently used as development strategies. In the absence of accurate knowledge regarding how exchange rate fluctuations influence the sector and economic growth, policy intervention results in ineffectively low economic growth performance
