No full textللبيئة الداخلية لأي مبنى دور كبير في إقبال الناس على ارتياده وقضاء وقت كبير فيه. لذا فإن ثراء المكتبة بموارد المعلومات وكفاءة العاملين فيها لا يغنيان عن توفير بيئة جيدة تجعلها مكانا مريحا لمرتاديها.هناك عدد من المكونات التي تشكل مجمل البيئة الداخلية للمكتبة,وينبغي أن تبذل الجهود لجعلها تعمل متظافرة على تحقيق ذلك. ومن أهم هذه المكونات الإضاءة ـ طبيعية كانت أو اصطناعية ـ والتهوية والتدفئة والتبريد والرطوبة, والحد من الضوضاء.The study tries to define the condition that must be offered. No full textدليل يحصر أدوات العمل الفنية المجانية وغير المجانية التي تستخدم في العمل الفني في المكتبات، وهو أعد ضمن رسالة جامعية أجيزت من جامعة القاهرة، يبدأ الدليل بمقدمة تعريفية حول الدليل وفئات الأدوات التي يحصرها واحصائيات حول أعدادها، يضم الدليل عدد كبير من المصادر الإلكترونية لأدوات عمل فنية مقسمة على اربعة اقسام رئيسية، وهي: مواقع لأدوات عمل فردية، وقد قُسمت حسب النشاط الفني، مثل: فهرسة، تصنيف، اشكال اتصال ... الخ، مواقع لأدوات العمل التكاملية، مواقع لأدوات العمل غير التكاملية، مواقع عامة مجانية لإتاحة أدوات العمل الفنية، مواقع أدوات عمل فنية تخص فئة محددة من فئات الفنيين.A guide that lists the free and non-free technical processing tools that are used in libraries. It was prepared as part of a university thesis approved by Cairo University. The guide begins with an introduction about the guide, the categories of tools it lists, and statistics about their numbers. The guide includes a large number of electronic sources for artistic work tools. It is divided into four main sections, which are: sites for individual work tools, which have been divided according to technical activity, such as: indexing, classification, forms of communication... etc., sites for integrative work tools, sites for non-integrated work tools, free public sites for making technical work tools available. No full textهدفت هذه الدراسة للتعريف بمجموعة قواعد البيانات الالكترونية التي تشترك بها مكتبات جامعة النجاح ومن عدة شركات مزوده. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم دراسة مجموعة من قواعد البيانات للتعرف على تقنيات البحث وخاصة طريقة البحث البوليني وتقنية البتر والتي بنيت اختلافاً في الرموز المستخدمة بين هذه القواعد. وقد أوصى الباحث بعدة توصيات أهمها توفير ورشة عمل تدريبية لاستخدام هذه التقنية الجديدة، والتعريف بأهم قواعد البيانات وطرق استخدامها وتقييمها لأخذ ذلك بعين الاعتبار عند الاشتراك ببعضها.The aim of this study to identify several databases from several providers that an-Najah National University Library subscribed with for one year. To achieve the goals of the study a sample several databases types was chosen. This study, shown that the search technique in each database including the Boolean Search and the Truncation technique way deifier from database to another, several different symbols had been used. The researcher has come up with a number of recommendations, of these the research recommends the importance of holding a practical training workshop for clients to learn a bout the hows of databases utilization & the search technique in each database

Get PDFتتناول الدراسة تقويماً لموقع مركز الملك فيصل للبحوث والدراسات الإسلامية على الويب، وذلك من حيث الموقع، والحداثة، والخدمات المقدمة، والجمهور المستفيد، وسهولة الوصول إلى الموقع، بالإضافة إلى مسؤولية الموقع ومحتواه ومجاله وشكله وتصميمه، وقد هدفت الدراسة إلى تقويم موقع المركز على شبكة الويب، وحجم استخدامه من قِبل أفراد العينة والكشف عن دوافع الاستخدام.
وقد تم جمع البيانات عن طريق استبانه وزعت على عينة عشوائية قوامها (15٪) من واقع إجمالي المجتمع الخاضع للدراسة والبالغ عددهم (1755) من طالبات الدراسات العليا "مرحلة الماجستير" في أقسام (( المكتبات والمعلومات- اللغة العربية- التاريخ )) والتابعة لكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بجامعة الملك عبد العزيز بجدة، وطالبات الدراسات العليا "مرحلة الماجستير" بكلية الدعوة وأصول الدين بجامعة أم القرى بمكة المكرمة، وموظفي وموظفات ورواد مركز الملك فيصل للبحوث والدراسات الإسلامية.This study makes evaluation to the website of King Faisal Islamic Study & Research Center (KFISRC) in relation to its site, advanced design, services rendered, public users and easy-to-search including its discharged duties; content, form and scope.
The study aims to evaluate the website of KFISRC published in the Internet as well as the volume of its sample users, and to determine the motivations of use.
The study was conducted on the Second Semester in 1426H. / 2005G. The researcher has relied in the evaluation case study on "on-line access" in the Internet; a matter which was imposed by the nature and objectives of the study and followed by an evaluation-analysis methodology based on the measures derived from Website & Information Resources Measures in the Internet.
The information were gathered using the questionnaire forms which were distributed to a random sample of 15% of the society slide subject of the study totaling 1755 of post-graduate female students; i.e. Master degree; enrolled in Library & Information, Arabic Language and History Departments of Faculty of Arts & Humanities , King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah; and post-graduate female students; i.e. Master degree; enrolled in Faculty of Da\u27wa & Fundamentals of Religion, Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, including male and female staff of KFISRC. The study has reached to the number of findings, mainly as follows:
The volume of the users has reached to 40.7% of the sampling. One of the reasons of the decreasing percentage in the number of the site users of KFISRC is that 32.4% did not know about the existence of the site in the Internet; whereas, 24.1% of the sampling whose most important motivation to use the site is to know whether the resources searched by them would be available in the data-bases of the KFISRC or not.
39.3% of the sampling desired that the site of KFISRC should identify its services; and nearly 31% of them have shown their satisfaction about the results of the research link, while about 29% of them have shown their satisfaction about quantity of information acquired from the site. In fact, 22.8% of the sampling stated that it would not be necessary to visit the site and 9% indicated that the site lacks the mail service as the prescribers could not know about the updates.
Taking the findings reached by the study into consideration, and in order to promote the site services better in future, the researcher has made the following recommendations, mainly as follows:
To identify the services to be rendered to users; the types and methods of utilizing them comprehensively and accurately, use of multi-media technologies, illustrations, permanent information updates, and mail every updates to all prescribers.
To appoint 24 hour/day professional and responsible supervisor to monitor the site, meet the users\u27 needs, reply to their inquiries, make every improvement to the website and launch the same not only in the developer\u27s site but also throughout the Internet.

Also, its aim is to examine all their methods in order to find out which are the best and most practically useful ones.
The research refers to the news agencies and the Internet, through the methods that users encounter in these inquires and links which present information. It concentrates on practical ways of searching for news items in both texts and pictures. The research contains tables showing the results. It presents a brief summery for each of Arab news agencies.
The research comes to the conclusion that there are many things which need to be considered, and also some suggestions as to how the search for and retrieval of information might be improved
