THE NEW ITERATIVE METHOD FOR SOLVING LINEAR AND NONLINEAR SYSTEMS OF PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
In this paper, we used the New Iterative Method (NIM) developed by Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari for the solution of linear and nonlinear systems of partial differential equations. This method is very simple as it reduces the size of computation and readily converges to the exact solution. To demonstrate the efficiency of the method, some illustrative examples were provided. The results obtained confirmed that the method is an efficient method for a wide variety of systems of linear and nonlinear PDEs. 
GEOCHEMICAL PROXIES FROM CLAYS IN PARTS OF NORTHERN NIGER DELTA: IMPLICATION FOR UNRAVELLING PALEOWEATHERING AND PALEO-REDOX CONDITIONS
Geochemical characterization of three clay occurrences in Igbanke, Esan and Asaboro area of Edo State were investigated for main oxides, minor and rare earth elements to unravel paleodepositional, source area past weathering condition. Inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry techniques were deployed to analyse the samples. Al2O3 and Fe2O3 depletion (13.63 - 30.46 wt. % and 0.38 – 5.09 wt. %) relative to SiO2 (36.64 - 72.84 wt. %), close to the Post Achaean Australia shales and Upper Continental Crust standards of 62.8% and 66% respectively were recorded. Except Y, Zr, Hf, Ga, concentration of trace elements, are augmented relative to PAAS, although some samples show concentration ranges lower than or higher than average PAAS values. Redox-sensitive trace element proportions indicated variable paleo-redox conditions (oxic – suboxic), supported by negative cerium anomaly of -0.9 – -1.115. Low values of K2O/Al2O3 (0.03 – 0.01) suggest a probable sedimentary reprocessing or intensification in the extent of source area weathering, affirmed by increase in Al2O3 and Fe2O3 values, a sign of weathering and geochemical modification. 
DEVELOPMENT OF AN EXPERT SYSTEM FRAMEWORK FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF CONFUSABLE DISEASES USING NEUTROSOPHICAHP TECHNIQUE
Due to the myriad complexities in medical diagnoses, there is therefore the need to develop Expert systems that will help ameliorate decision making in confusable diseases scenarios. Diagnosis has become a difficult procedure in healthcare management due to the influence of therapeutic uncertainties that arise from confusion in disease symptoms that occur between two or more diseases. This confusion stems from the overlaps in the disease symptomatic presentation and has led to improper diagnosis with various degrees of associated costs and in worst scenarios has led to the death of patients. In this research, we designed and implemented a framework for the diagnosis of confusing diseases using Neutrosophic-Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique. The app was implemented using Java EE and MySQL database as the knowledge store; the objectoriented software engineering method used was employed in development. 
MANUFACTURING SOAP FROM WASTE COOKING OIL USING COLD AND HOT PROCESSES
The conversion of waste cooking oil to soaps using endothermic (hot) and exothermic (cold) soap making processes was investigated. Waste cooking oils were collected locally and characterized using standard methods and found to have acceptable saponification value (258.9 g).Various soaps were prepared by factorial combinations (A, B, C)using the following parameters: amount of NaOH, oil content and molding time. The soaps prepared gave a pH range of 9.85± 0.45 to11.20±0.30 and 10.65±0.65 to 12.20± 0.10 for the cold andhot processes respectively. The % moisture contents of the soap made using cold process were between the ranges of 25.20± 3.60% to 38.36± 2.84% while the soaps made from hot process had a % moisture content of 21.90± 3.50% to35.74± 3.54%. Total fatty matter (TFM) content of the cold process soaps gave values of 10.60% - 60.00% while the hot process soaps reported values ranging from 30.00% - 71.00%. 
PALYNOZONATION AND PALEO DEPOSITIONAL ENVIRONMENT OF EOCENE-OLIGOCENE SEDIMENTS OF NORTHWESTERN NIGER DELTA BASIN IN NIGERIA
Fifty non-composited well cutting samples from a depth range of 486 – 3216 m of the BIMOL-1 well located in the north-western area of the Niger Delta Basin, were subjected to palynological and lithofacies analyses for the purpose of zonation and paleo depositional environment interpretation. Forty two miospore and ten dinocyst species were identified and used to age-date the sediments as Ypresian – Rupelian in age. Occurrence and abundance of age-significant species enabled four non-formal assemblage zones equivalent to existing palynological zones (P300 – P560) of the Niger Delta Basin to be erected. A subdivision of the extant P420zone that spans the Upper Ypresian – Lower Lutetian into a lower and an upper subzone with the Ypresian – Lutetian boundary as the boundary of the two new subzones A and B was done, which will enable a finer scale well-well and field-wide correlation in the BIMOL-1 well are
POWER SECTOR REFORM AND AVAILABILITY OF ELECTRIC POWER ON THE AKURE 33KV NETWORK
The study examines the effect of power sector reform on energy supply in Nigeria using Akure 33kV distribution Network as a case study. The study employed Average Service Availability Index (ASAI), System’s Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI), Network’s failure rate and the overall system reliability. The analysis was divided as pre and post privatization; (2010-2012 and (2013-2015), respectively. The result showed decrease in the service availability rate by1%, and 7.6% increase in the average interruption duration index from 2010 to 2015. The network’s failure rate increased by 8% whiles the system’s reliability index decreased by 1.1%. 
GENETIC VARIABILITY AND INTERRELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GRAIN YIELD AND SOME MORPHOLOGICAL AND REPRODUCTIVE TRAITS OF ACHA (Digitaria spp.) ACCESSIONS
Acha (Digitaria exillis Kippis. Stapf and D. iburua stapf L) belongs to the grass family, Poaceae and has been described as the oldest West African cereal and of great value to the natives. With its potentials, there has been a renewed interest in Acha cultivation and research. The present study focused on the evaluation of the genetic variability and interrelationship between grain yield and some morphological and reproductive traits of some Acha accessions collected from farmers in five villages (Mwel, Toff, Kuba, Mbar and Kulere Richa) Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. The trial was conducted during the 2019 rainy season atthe Federal College of Forestry Jos. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replicates. Analysis of variance revealed variability among the different accessions. Grain yield was positively and significantly correlated with plant height. 
GEOPHYSICAL EVALUATION OF THE GROUNDWATER POTENTIAL AND AQUIFER PROTECTIVE CAPACITY IN PART OF OYE-EKITI, SOUTHWESTERN NIGERIA
Assessment of groundwater potential and aquifer protective capacity in part of Oye-Ekiti, Southwestern Nigeria using the electrical resistivity method of geophysical prospecting was carried out. The study involved Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) technique using the Schlumberger array with current electrode spacing (AB/2) of 100 m. Thirty-one (31) VES locations were obtained with the aid of ABEM SAS 300 Resistivity Meter and plotted on the double log graph as VES curves. The VES curves were interpreted quantitatively by partialcurve matching and assisted by 1-D forward modeling using the WinResist software. The VES interpretation results (layer and thickness) were used to generate maps of the study area. A, K, H, KH, HA, QH, AA, HKH, KQH and AKH-type curves were identified in the area. The overburden thickness ranged from thick (20 to 28 m), moderate (10 to 19.9 m) to low overburden (0 to 9.9 m). The bedrock relief shows areas of moderate/high (530.1 to 558 m) and low reliefs (514 to 530m). 
GEOPHYSICAL EVALUATION OF ROCK TYPES IMPART ON THE AQUIFER SYSTEMS IN THE BASEMENT COMPLEX TERRAIN, SOUTHWESTERN NIGERIA
A study was carried out to determine the Landsat ETM+, aeromagnetic and vertical electrical sounding (VES) data covering Ado-Ekiti with the intent of delineating the lithological contact, basement structures and aquifer systems in the area. The Landsat imagery generated was processed using PCI Geomatica software, aeromagnetic data procured was processed using Oasis MontajTM and VES data was processed with partial curve matching technique assisted with 1-D forward modelling. The lineaments density (Ld) from the analysis of Landsat ETM+ ranges between low to high. Ld is higher over and around lithological contacts and areas underlainby felsic rocks. Interpretation of aeromagnetic data allows identification of series of anomalies suspected to be lithological contacts through the application of analytic signal, tilt derivative and Euler deconvolution. Qualitatively analysis of the two hundred and sixteen (216) sounding curves showed that the study area was predominated by A, H, KH, HK, QH and HKH –type curves 
INTESTINAL HELMINTHIASIS AMONG CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN SOME HOSPITALS IN KANO METROPOLIS
Infection with parasitic helminthes is often recognized as one of the important public health problems in tropical Africa. The majority of this infection occurs in resource-limited settings like Sub-Saharan Africa including Nigeria. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of intestinal helminthes among children and adults in some hospitals in Kano metropolis. The study involved a cross-sectional survey of 134 stool samples where 84 were collected from children and 50 from adults. The samples were examined usingdirect wet mount and formol-ether concentration technique. The overall prevalence of intestinal helminth infection observed was 11.2%. In the study, three different parasites were identified. These include Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuristrichura and Hookworm. In terms of isolation rate, Hookworm was the commonest intestinal helminth observed in children 5 (50%) while Ascarislumbricoides was the most isolated 3 (60%) in adults
