The paper presents a comprehensive approach to the welding of CrMo hardenable steels. W. No. 1.7225 (42CrMo4) and W. No. 1.7325 (25MoCr4) using the advantages of electron beam technology. The experiments were carried out on a modified electron beam welding device of the PZ ELZA UNI 2G type with an acceleration voltage of up to 60 kV and a maximum power of up to 7 kW. The research was focused on the design and optimization of the preheating of welded parts to suppress the formation of cold cracks. Preheating was performed with a defocused and deflected electron beam before the actual welding process. Preheating parameters were designed based on theoretical calculations and verified in the process. The temperature of the weldment was monitored during preheating using a thermocouple, and the measured values were compared with the predicted ones. The achieved properties of the welded joints are presented in terms of the achieved structure and hardness

POSITIONAL INVESTMENT THEORY AND THE ORIGIN OF CONFLICTS

The paper deals with the possibility of applying the concept of positional investing developed in the framework of cooperative game theory to analyse the causes of non-cooperation, the growth of noncooperation into conflicts and subsequently to analyse the possibilities of conflict resolution. It is based on the theoretical assumptions of the economics of productive consumption, the supply and demand model of investment resources and investment opportunities, which it uses to describe the mechanism of positional investment. It uses the tools of positional investment analysis, in particular the function or line of neutrality of positional investment. Extends the Nash bargaining problem so that the distribution of payoffs in two-player games respects the neutrality requirement of positional investing. Based on this, it presents a concept of the causes of and possibilities for resolving difficult-to-resolve conflicts. To do so, it also uses the identification of interdependencies between certain types of games

The importance of college curriculum assessment and academic evaluation in higher education and teaching cannot be overstated, as it is essential for enhancing the quality of talent training. A suitable assessment plan and means of evaluation should not only consider students\u27 knowledge, but also their thinking and problem-solving aptitudes, which will foster their creativity and practicality. Attention to research on curriculum assessment and academic evaluation of colleges and universities has grown in recent years due to the deep progress of education reform. This article studies the curriculum assessment and academic evaluation reform of Chinese universities. According to the current status quo, the necessity of curriculum assessment and academic evaluation is discussed, and reform measures are proposed on the issues of assessment and evaluation. The three core objectives of talent training and assessment, namely \u27learning effects’,’ innovation of teaching methods and means, and enhancing the quality of talent training through a thorough assessment of students\u27 learning effects, are to be achieved through the promotion of teaching methods and means. In -depth research and practice with academic evaluation. Explaining the specific methods and effects of the "Intelligent sensing and detection technology" courses, which are based on the major of the School of Mechanical Engineering at University of Jinan, is a professional basic course example

AUGMENTED REALITY IN SECONDARY EDUCATION. DESCRIPTIVE STUDY OF TEACHERS’ OPINIONS

The technological revolution in the educational field is today an undeniable reality, which is why its presence in classrooms is increasingly prevalent. However, it is not without controversy, one of which is the perspective of the teaching staff, as this will determine its use or non-use. We present the preliminary findings of a larger study that outlines the views of a group of trainee teachers in the secondary education stage in Spain regarding the presence of augmented reality in classrooms. The main finding has indicated that the variables of age and macro-area of study do not show differences in the beliefs they hold about its use in the classroom. Gender appears to be a distorting factor in some respects. We can conclude that training is needed both for its incorporation into classroom methodology and for its promotion within inclusive environments

TRADITIONS OF FOLLOWING FAIRY TALES FOR CHILDREN IN LITHUANIAN CULTURE

The children\u27s story-telling discussed in this article is an important and deep tradition in Lithuanian culture, with roots in ancient times. Fairy tales not only enrich children\u27s imagination but also transmit values, moral lessons and the cultural heritage of the nation. Many Lithuanian families have a tradition of following fairy tales at bedtime, which is not only a soothing ritual but also a way to strengthen family ties. A study of primary school teachers found that the most common bedtime stories were read by mum and grandma, and sometimes by dad and grandpa. Regular exposure to fairy tales has a positive impact on the development of children\u27s language skills in several key ways. Firstly, fairy tales expand children\u27s vocabulary by introducing them to new concepts and contexts that may not be present in everyday language. Secondly, listening to fairy tales promotes children\u27s mastery of grammatical structures, as the texts are often rich and varied in sentence structure. Thirdly, fairy tales improve children\u27s understanding of narrative structure by teaching them to follow the plot, identify the main characters and understand the causal links between events

THE 20TH CENTURY WORLD WARS IN THE LATVIAN WAR NOVEL: AUTHORS, CHARACTERS, IDEOLOGIES

The objective of the article is to provide an overview of the coverage of the 20th century world wars in the Latvian 20th century war novel, thus raising global questions through local issues. Although the theme of war makes itself herd in Latvian literature with periodic regularity and takes a prominent place in both the general picture of the Latvian novel-writing and the creative biographies of individual authors, broader research on the Latvian war novel has not yet been undertaken. As a result, the article is an innovative study, first at the national level, while holding a significant potential for broader science communication. The Latvian war novel of the 20th century emerges as a multi-vocal and conflicting narrative of the past encouraging a dialogue between people and nations with different historical and life experiences. Both World War I and World War II novels have a distinctly multi-national set of characters; however, at the heart of the narrative there is the image of a Latvian soldier – a Latvian Rifleman or a Latvian Legionnaire. High-ranking political and military figures are involved in the novels’ plot implicitly, appearing mainly in dialogues and reflections by characters, but their mention carries a very strong message. Most of the texts examined correspond to the type of anti-war novel, except those created in the spirit of national romanticism or revolutionary romanticism, imparting to them a heroic pathos. By combining the two main principles of classification – by subject and by the genre poetics – the Latvian war novel uses different genre codes – the biographical novel, the coming-of-age novel, the existential novel, the family novel, the thriller, and the love story novel

EFFECT OF RELATIVE HUMIDITY TO TRIBOLOGICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF POLYMER COMPOSITES

Additive technologies are often used as an alternative to conventional methods for prototyping and one-off production of parts. When designing parts, it is necessary to take into account not only the properties of the materials declared by the manufacturer, but also the change in the properties of the materials due to the environment to which the finished part will be exposed. Therefore, the present paper deals with the effect of relative humidity of the environment on the tribological and mechanical properties of PA6 and its carbon and glass fibre reinforced composites. Using FDM technology, test specimens were fabricated from the materials under investigation. The specimens were exposed to environments with relative humidity levels ranging from 33% to 95%. Tribological and mechanical tests showed a significant effect on the properties of the materials. Increasing the relative humidity of the environment resulted in a decrease in wear resistance, the average weight loss increased at the highest relative humidity by 17 % - 24 %. For mechanical properties, a decrease in stresses of 15 % - 35 % was observed at the highest relative humidity
