Cultural festivals as celebrated in Nigeria have enormous potential to drive fusion of diverse socio-ethnic construct. Our study focused on only three psychometric rationales or premise for evaluating common preference in cultural mixes. Fundamentally each ethnic group in Nigeria feels strong about the uniqueness of their culture. Distinct cultural traditions have been preserved and appreciated over history. We synthesized this construct at α = 0.05. Among others, key factors of multiculturalism (r = 0.39) (ideological condition that believe tradition must not be altered or acculturated) such as cuisines, costumes, rituals, languages did not significantly encourage fusion of socio-ethnic groups. Furthermore, among others, key factors of colorblindness (r = 0.52) (ideological condition that believe that culture has common origin “human beings” and common goals “satisfy human’s needs and desires”; and so people everywhere can bridge cultural differentia) such as local business, heritage site, Lifestyle, security correlates. However, lifestyle and security mediates in certain domains of cultural consumption that evokes fear of cultural mixing and which does not absolutely change ethnic predominant cultural mindset. Key factors of polyculturalism (r = 0.79) (ideological condition with the believe that traditions and perspectives influence each other as cultural groups continually make contact and interact) such as awareness, values, friendliness and markets appeared significant in driving fusion. Multiculturalism (p < 0.05) offers high propensity to increasing preference for cultural fusion options through increasing concerns about the impurity from the mixing elements of different socio-ethnic grou

Inclusive and Sustainable Development in India vs. Environmental Protection: Issues, Challenges and Solutions

Today, due to environmental destruction, a serious threat has arisen not only to the existence of mankind but also to the existence of the entire biological community. The way, in which the natural resources of the earth are being over-exploited behind the blind race of development, the existence of the coming generations has started to appear in danger. Natural resources are getting scarce to meet the needs of the ever-increasing population. Increasing pollution and climate change have made the problem even more serious. In this situation, the concept of sustainable and inclusive development has rendered the importance of environmental protection and alerted mankind to think in this direction and take necessary steps. Indian literature and culture have always been spreading the message of co-living with the environment, but as soon as we changed our life values under the influence of westernization, we brought an environmental crisis at our doorstep. Today, our country has chosen such a model of development in which there is neither any concern for environmental protection nor any sympathy for the coming generations. For not only India but the entire world to move forward in the direction of sustainable development, Bapu has to inculcate in his mind that this earth can fulfill the needs of man but not his desires

Modern welfare economics has correlated a set of welfare criteria in terms of certain marginal or optimality conditions. These conditions apply to the consumption sector as well as the production sector. If all the conditions are met, theoretically, one can say, social welfare is maximized. Essentially, it amounts to specifying certain conditions under which the resources of the community are most efficiently utilized to satisfy given wants the framework of a given distribution of income. specifically, to maximize social welfare, it is required to achieve simultaneously a subjective optimum and a physical optimum: goods must be distributed among consumers in such a way that no one can improve his position except at the expense of someone else, and products as well as factors of production must be allocated in such a way that no greater output can be produce with the same factor input. This is an overly simplified statement of welfare criteria in modern welfare economics but it will serve the purpose of this paper
