Adenomyosis as an Independent Unit of Dysfunction of the Endometrium and Uterine Myometrium

    No full text
In modern literature, adenomyosisis described as "benign invasion of the endometrium into the myometrium, leading to diffuse enlargement of the uterus. Microscopic examination reveals ectopic neoplasia of the endometrial glands and stroma surrounded by hypertrophied and hyperplastic myometrium" [1, 2]. In recent years, interest in the problem has increased significantly, since the disease violates the quality of a woman's life, encourages the doctor to resort to surgical treatment, including organ-bearing operations. The role of endomyometrial dysfunction characteristic of adenomyosis in the development of obstetric pathology cannot be overestimated. Based on visualization methods by C.M. Juang et al. [3] have shown that adenomyosis is an important risk factor for spontaneous premature birth. In addition, adenomyosis is associated with other obstetric complications, such as abnormal postpartum bleeding [4]. According to a systematic review and meta-analysis, adenomyosis has a negative impact on the results of infertility treatment when using assisted reproductive technologies due to a decrease in the likelihood of clinical pregnancy and implantation of the fetal egg, as well as an increase in the risk of early pregnancy loss [5]

The use of ultrasound to improve the diagnosis of cholelithiasis, the pathology of the extrahepatic and intrahepatic bile ducts, the objectivization of indications for urgent surgery and the reduced number of “forced interventions

Research Progress of Xiaoaiping Injection on Anti-tumor

    No full text
Xiaoaiping injection is a sterile solution prepared by water extraction and alcohol precipitation from the dried cane of Tongguanteng through a series of modern processes. It is a usual common Traditional Chinese medicine anti-tumor drug in recent years. Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in the field of treatment and development of malignant tumors. In clinical practice, some Chinese medicines have good clinical effects in the adjuvant treatment of tumors. The clinical efficacy and pharmacological effects of Xiaoaiping injection are still in the preliminary exploration stage. The research on its chemical components is not in-depth, and the anti-tumor pharmacological mechanism has not yet been elucidated. It also requires systematic pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Further in-depth research on compatibility, contraindications, and adverse reactions, in order to provide a more reasonable and effective reference for clinical medication, and further promote the application to international clinical practice

    Etiology, Pathogenesis, Classification Periodontitis

    No full text
Periodontitis is more common, about 70-80% (Sokolova I.I., Savelyeva N.N., 2013; Baymiev A.Kh. et al., 2015; Tsepov L.M. et al., 2017; Miklyaev S.V. et al., 2018; Maksudova A.A. 2019; Astashina N.B. And etc., 2020; Plessas A., 2014; Bissong M. et al ., 2015; Liccardo D. et al ., 2019; Barros SP and al ., 2020). Periodontitis is an inflammatory-dystrophic disease that occurs as a result of common factors, such as a deficiency of vitamins C, B1, A , E , endocrine imbalances, and local ones - an imbalance between bacterial symbiosis and oral tissues, against the background of a decrease in the body's reactivity ( G. T. et al., 2017; Pedigo RA et al ., 2018). Inflammation can be limited within the gums (gingivitis) and affect all periodontal structures ( Ulitovsky S.B. et al., 2015; Polushkina ON THE. And etc., 2020; wang L. et al ., 2019). Clinical manifestations this disease are varied. They vary from bleeding gums to destruction and loss of teeth, due to the destruction of all tissues of the periodontal complex ( Feshchenko I.V. et al., 2018; Nguyen AT et al ., 2020)

Assessment of the Effects of Ramipril and Pirindopril on Left Ventricle Systolic Function in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction without ST Segment Elevation

    No full text
This article analyzes the effect of ramipril and pyrindopril on the systolic function of the left ventricle in patients with acute myocardial infarction without ST segment elevation hospitalized in the ACS department of the Samarkand Regional Branch of the Republican Scientific and Practical Specialized Medical Center for Cardiology. The mean age of the patients was 55.7±3.4 years. All patients received standard AMI treatment ( statin, ASA, clopidogrel, beta-blocker, ACE inhibitor ) and were divided into 2 comparable groups depending on the therapy: in the 1st group (n=31), ramipril was used as an ACE in the initial dose of 5 mg 1 time per day, in the 2nd group (n=35) - pyrindopril at an initial dose of 2 mg 1 time per day with dose titration to the maximum tolerated. In a comparative assessment of the effectiveness of ACE inhibitors in patients in the early period of AMI, a more significant clinical efficacy and effect on postinfarction LV remodeling, a more significant effect on indicators of endothelial dysfunction and systemic inflammation with the use of ramipril were noted, which allows us to recommend it as the drug of choice in the treatment of patients with AMI, including to preserve the systolic function of the left ventricle

Human Papillomavirus-Associated Oropharyngeal Carcinoma: Trends in Epidemiology and Methods for Detecting the Virus in a Tumor

    No full text
Oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) has traditionally been associated with exposure to tobacco smoke and alcohol. However, in the past 30 years, despite a decrease in the prevalence of smoking, there has been a stabilization and subsequent increase in the incidence of OSCC. This rate increased mostly among middle-aged white men (including never-smokers or quitters). This cohort differs from the usual OSCC patients, elderly people with a long history of smoking or drinking. This increase in the incidence of OSCC is currently associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. HPV is transmitted sexually, and oral-genital contact can lead to HPV infection of the mouth and oropharynx. There are many types of HPV, but the vast majority of HPV-associated cases of OSCC are caused by type 16 virus. This review discusses the epidemiology of HPV-associated OSCC, the prevalence of HPV infection of the oral cavity and/or oropharynx, and methods for detecting the virus in tumor cells
