    Perancangan Superstructure Jembatan Kereta Api Bentang 100 Meter Tipe Rangka Baja

    This study discusses long bridge superstructure planning. The reference used for the  design  of  the bridge is the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. 60  of  2012  on  Technical  Requirements of Railways, AREMA and the rules of the European Union. The loading of the superstructure of the railway bridge includes dead load, live load, shock  load, horizontal load,  and  wind load. This bridge profile needs analysis using the influence line  method  with  SAP  2000 application. The result of superstructure analysis of 100 meter railway bridge  type  of  lower  truss frame shows that the size for structure profile,  stringer,  and  cross girder  must  be specially  designed  by utilizing SM400 type steel plate with welding. From the analysis result,  the  working  force  of stringer is 1618,74 kN with a deflection of 11,58 mm; Force on a transverse girder of 2348.16 kN; Upperchord of 6340.45 kN; Lower Frame (Lowerchord) of 7441.33 kN; And members in  the amount of 5599.48 kN. Of the styles are  designed  profiles  as follows: 1 UFLG 105 x 2.5;  2WEB  80 x 2.5; 1 UFLG 80 x 2.5 for lowerchord, 1 UFLG 105 x 3.6; 2WEB 80 x 2.5; 1 UFLG 80 x 3.6 for  upperchord  and  WF 72X x 80 x 2 x 2 For diagonal member

    One effort to reduce noise levels is urban planning. However, in big cities this is often not achieved due to population growth and the unavailability of balanced land. So that houses and buildings must be built close together and even close to the railroad tracks. All long-distance trains to the East (West Java, Central Java, East Java and Yogyakarta Special Region), both economy class, business and executive trains departing from Jakarta Kota Station, Pasar Senen Station and Gambir Station will pass through Bekasi Station until with Cirebon Station. From the data on the number of train trips according to the 2015 Train Travel Chart (Gapeka), there are approximately 122 trips each day. Train activities with frequent travel frequencies throughout the day can cause positive and negative externalities. Positive externalities felt by people who live close to trains include savings in transportation costs and ease and speed of access. The negative externalities, namely noise pollution, safety, and the risk of crime in the form of stone throws. Noise is one parameter to measure environmental qualitySalah satu upaya untuk mengurangi tingkat kebisingan adalah dengan perencanaan kota. Akan tetapi di kota-kota besar hal ini seringkali tidak tercapai akibat pertumbuhan populasi dan tidak tersedianya lahan yang seimbang. Sehingga rumah dan bangunan harus dibangun secara berdekatan dan bahkan berdempetan dengan rel kereta api. Seluruh kereta api jarak jauh ke arah Timur (Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta), baik kereta api kelas ekonomi, bisnis maupun eksekutif yang berangkat dari Stasiun Jakarta Kota, Stasiun Pasar Senen dan Stasiun Gambir akan melewati Stasiun Bekasi sampai dengan Stasiun Cirebon. Dari data jumlah perjalanan kereta api menurut Grafik Perjalanan Kereta Api (Gapeka) 2015, terdapat kurang lebih 122 perjalanan setiap harinya. Aktivitas kereta api dengan frekuensi perjalanan cukup sering sepanjang hari dapat menimbulkan eksternalitas positif dan negatif. Eksternalitas positif yang dirasakan masyarakat yang bermukim dekat dengan kereta api antara lain, penghematan biaya transportasi dan kemudahan serta kecepatan akses.     Penggunaan Total Station Dan Autocad Civil 3D Untuk Perencanaan Grading

    This study was structured with the aim of carrying out topographic measurements and analyzing grading planning in the API Madiun campus area. The study was conducted using a Total Station measurement tool and a 3D Autocad Civil 3D imaging tool. Surveyor personnel used in carrying out measurements are surveyors who are trained using Total Station equipment. The study produced ten benchmark point (BM) locations as a measurement reference in areas within the Madiun API land. The topographic analysis results from the contour map identified the Madiun API land area as relatively flat with the difference between the lowest and highest elevation of 5.132 m with an average slope of 3.32%. The grading plan shows that there are two main areas that require landfills with the total pile volume requirement of 8,281.4 m3. Evaluation of the implementation of measurements shows the need for supervision and evaluation so as not to make mistakes that can occur by the measurement implementer. The use of Autocad Civil 3D software tools facilitates and accelerates the process of depicting engineering and land grading planning. Measurement with Total Station and depiction with Autocad Civil 3D needs to be optimized by integration into the lecture syllabus in order to become one of the soft skill competencies possessed by graduates of Building Engineering and Railways of API Madiun.Penelitian ini disusun dengan tujuan melaksanakan pengukuran topografi dan melakukan analisa perencanaan grading di wilayah kampus API Madiun. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat bantu pengukuran Total Station serta alat bantu penggambaraan Autocad Civil 3D. Tenaga surveyor yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengukuran merupakan tenaga surveyor yang dilatih menggunakan alat Total Station. Penelitian menghasilkan sepuluh lokasi titik benchmark (BM) sebagai acuan pengukuran di wilayah dalam lahan API madiun. Hasil analisa topografi dari peta kontur mengidentifikasi wilayah lahan API Madiun relatif datar dengan selisih antara elevasi terendah dan tertinggi adalah 5,132 m dengan kemiringan rata-rata 3,32%. Perencanaan grading menunjukkan ada dua area utama yang memerlukan timbunan tanah dengan total kebutuhan volume timbunan adalah sebesar 8.281,4 m3. Evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan pengukuran menunjukkan perlunya pengawasan dan evaluasi agar tidak melakukan kesalahan-kesalahan yang dapat terjadi oleh pelaksana pengukuran. Penggunaan alat bantu software Autocad Civil 3D memudahkan dan mempercepat proses penggambaran teknik dan perencanaan grading lahan. Pengukuran dengan Total Station dan penggambaran dengan Autocad Civil 3D perlu dioptimalkan dengan integrasi ke dalam silabus perkuliahan agar dapat menjadi salah satu kompetensi softskill yang dimiliki oleh lulusan Teknik Bangunan dan Jalur Perkeretaapian API Madiun

    Analisis Tingkat Kepuasan Pelanggan Kereta Api Angkutan Lebaran Di Pulau Jawa

    This research aimed to analyze customer satisfaction level of Lebaran trains in Java Island. Data collection was done through observation and spreading of questionnaires. The sample of this data collection is 206 respondents who traveled during  Lebaran with  train  in  Java  Island.  The  result  of the research by using Importance Performance Analysis method shows that the  respondent\u27s expectation for the train service is 82.8 percent while the respondent\u27s  satisfaction  level  is  65.4 percent. Customer Satisfaction Index for all attributes studied was 71.4 percent.  Some  of  the  attributes  that  need  prioritized  for  improvement  are  considered  inconsistent  with  the  expectations of passengers: cleanliness and comfort toilets in  the  station  and  on the  train,  availability  of facilities for the disabled, affordability of ticket prices and suitability of ticket prices with services. Other attributes that are important and considered satisfactory by  respondens  are  information  boards, station staff  friendliness,  cleanliness  and  convenience  at  the  station,  ticket  service  counter,  train staff  friendliness,  cleanliness  and  convenience  in  trains,  on-time  departure  train,  punctuality   of train arrival, travel time and ease of getting tickets

    Glossary Book For Cadets Of Indonesian Railway Academy In English Specific Purpose Program

    English specific purpose (ESP) is a learner-centered approach to teaching English as additional language, which focuses on developing communicative competence in specific discipline such as academics,  accounting,  agrology,  business,  IT,  teaching,  and  engineering.  ESP  also  defined   to meet specific needs of learners. Accordingly, it is important for the  cadets  to  master  English  for railway in order to prepare them for English technical terminology in working area. This study aimed to identify the problem faced by the cadets of Indonesian Railway Academy and to develop glossary terms based on the cadets’ need. In this study, the writer used research and development (R&D) design. It means that the study designed to develop materials for use in ESP program. The population of this study is the cadets of Indonesian Railway Academy.  The  number  of the  subject  was 35 cadets from electrical class. The writer used questionnaire and interview  to  gather  the  data. The result of the study showed that twenty cadets said that  ESP  is  difficult  to  learn,  they also said that there was different English for general  and  English  for  Specific  Purpose.  Fifteen  students  said that they enjoyed ESP program and they also  said  that English  is  important  to learn  to  get  a  job. The writer concludes that the cadets of Indonesian Railway Academy Madiun have to  develop their knowledge about glossary terms for railway to increase their vocabulary

    Analisis Perbandingan Pendeteksi Sarana Pada Lintas Surabaya - Madiun

    One example of technological developments in signaling systems in Indonesia is the use of detection facilities on rail lines. A detector is a device that functions to detect the presence or absence of train facilities on the railroad track. Detection equipment is divided into two types, namely axle counter and track circuit. Track circuit detects the presence of trains on the rails, while the axle counter functions to count train axles. This study aims to find a detection system for facilities that is suitable and in accordance with the conditions of the Surabaya-Madiun cross and find out the characteristics for the installation of detection facilities in accordance with the pathway. To find out the appropriate facility system, the two tools are analyzed in terms of system reliability, environmental influences, advantages and disadvantages, disruptions, maintenance, and operations. The results showed that an effective and efficient way of detecting traffic in Surabaya - Madiun was the detection of a double head axle counter facility. This tool is very suitable to be installed in the emplacement.Salah satu contoh perkembangan teknologi dalam sistem pensinyalan di Indonesia adalah penggunaan fasilitas pendeteksi pada jalur rel. Alat pendeteksi adalah alat yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi ada atau tidaknya fasilitas kereta api di jalur kereta api. Peralatan pendeteksi terbagi menjadi dua jenis, yaitu axle counter dan track circuit. Track circuit mendeteksi keberadaan kereta pada rel, sementara axle counter berfungsi menghitung gandar kereta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan sistem pendeteksian fasilitas yang sesuai dan sesuai dengan kondisi lintas Surabaya-Madiun dan mengetahui karakteristik untuk pemasangan fasilitas deteksi sesuai dengan jalur tersebut. Untuk mengetahui sistem fasilitas yang sesuai, kedua alat tersebut dianalisis dalam hal keandalan sistem, pengaruh lingkungan, kelebihan dan kekurangan, gangguan, pemeliharaan, dan operasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cara pendeteksian yang efektif dan efisien pada lalu lintas Surabaya - Madiun adalah pendeteksian fasilitas axle counter kepala ganda.     Transportation safety must be obeyed by all modes of transportation. The railroad crossing is one point that has the potential for conflict between railroad shares and road users. In accordance with applicable regulations, railroad facilities are prioritized when passing level crossings. In fact, road users often try to break the rules. This research aims to present alternative solutions to improve the safety of road users and railroad lines at cross section level. This research uses a method that begins with a literature study. Next through the design phase, the prototype stage and finally the testing phase. The results of this study are the prototype of the railroad direction detector and the identification of electronic-based railways by using an Arduino Microcontroller. The result shows an LCD board that can provide information to road users for the train\u27s arrival direction and train name. With this information it is expected that road users are more concerned with safety and can be careful when passing a level crossing.Keselamatan transportasi harus dipatuhi oleh semua moda transportasi. Penyeberangan jalur kereta api merupakan salah satu titik yang memiliki potensi konflik antara saham kereta api dan pengguna jalan. Sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku, fasilitas perkeretaapian diprioritaskan saat melewati penyeberangan tingkat. Padahal, pengguna jalan sering berusaha melanggar peraturan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan solusi alternatif untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pengguna jalan dan jalur kereta api pada tingkat penampang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yang dimulai dengan studi pustaka. Selanjutnya melalui tahap perancangan, tahap prototipe dan akhirnya tahap pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah prototipe detektor arah perkeretaapian dan identifikasi perkeretaapian berbasis elektronika dengan menggunakan Arduino Microcontroller. Hasilnya terlihat adanya papan LCD yang bisa memberikan informasi kepada pengguna jalan arah kedatangan kereta dan nama kereta. Dengan adanya informasi ini diharapkan pengguna jalan lebih peduli terhadap keselamatan dan bisa berhati-hati saat melewati persilangan sebidang
