(2) What is the character of the main character in the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata? (3) What are the implications of the learning model for the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata in learning literary appreciation in class VIII junior high school? The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method. The research results are as follows: 1. The structure of the novel Laskar Pelangi is (a) Theme; This novel has a theme about education. (b) Characterization; The main characters in this novel are Ikal (aku), Lintang and Mahar (c) Setting; Muhammadiah School, Building, PN School, (d) Point of View; My point of view as the main character. (e) Mandate; gratitude in life, teachings 2. Viewed from a literary psychology perspective, the characters in the novel Laskar Pelangi use a deepening of Sigmund Freud's theory, regarding the elements of personality (id, ego, and superego), it can be understood the character formation of each character: (a) Curls ; Ikal's character in his soul, id can be defeated with super ego. The 'I' character doesn't just want to beat Lintang's character in terms of intelligence, if Ikal's id is very strong, maybe he will hate or even not want to be friends with his deskmate anymore because feel defeated, but the super ego defeats the id. (b) Latitude; Ego is a psychological aspect of personality that arises from the individual's need to relate well to the real world. Lintang has an id, namely extraordinary intelligence that he was born with coupled with his passionate ego. His enthusiasm for learning was to uplift his very poor family. makes him very enthusiastic about learning. However, the super ego itself makes Lintang no longer carry on his id and ego. 3. Implications of the Cultural and Educational values contained in the Novel Laskar Pelangi which need to be emulated and taught in literature learning at school, namely: Religious Values, Social Values, Moral or Ethical Values and Aesthetic Value

The selected subjects were randomly divided into four equal groups consisting of fifteen each such as experimental groups and control group and provided with the circuit training and weight training for 12 weeks. Equipments required for the collection of data were Handgrip Dynamometer, assistant, pen, record sheet, Bar bell, weight plates set and collar and Leg dynamometer. It has been found out in the study that the 12 weeks of circuit training and weight training have enhanced the physical variables of the subjects

Impact Analysis of Ultra High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete using Finite Element Analysis

With the advancement in technology, UHPFRC is invented which includes exceptionally high mechanical properties (stress, strain, toughness and energy absorption capacity) and durability properties (permeability, creep, fatigue and corrosion resistance). Therefore, it attracts the researchers to investigate it in depth. Due to the difficulty in performing the impact test over UHPFRC, finite element study is made with the help of a commercially available FEM software ANSYS. An attempt has been made to verify the finite element results with the experimental results obtained in the laboratory and then obtain various other critical parameters (toughness, energy absorption capacity, failure pattern, crack propagation) through ANSYS only. There is not any recommended procedure or standard code available to perform the impact test over concrete, because of which every other researcher have used different shape, size, and geometry of fiber and concrete specimen which result in variability of results obtained through experiments. Therefore, the model is drawn in “ANSYS workbench” and other properties are assigned in “ANSYS mechanical” along with the assignment of “8 nodded SOLID65” element, and “Hydrodynamic code” solver from LS-DYNA is used for obtaining the post processing results instead of the default “ANSYS AUTODYN” solver in ANSYS

This study aimed to determine the incidence of Helicobacter pylori infection among Baghdad city populations and explore associations with infertility, food habits, environmental factors, and comorbidities like type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). The researcher examined 120 people in Baghdad from June 2020 to March 2022. H. pylori antibodies were detected using rapid diagnostic kits. Information on age, gender, food habits, T2DM, smoking status, and living conditions was collected. Semen analysis was done in H. pylori positive and negative males with infertility. H. pylori seroprevalence was 62.5%. Prevalence increased with age (p<0.05) and was higher among females (70%) than males (62.5%), (p<0.001). Non-spicy food consumers showed higher prevalence (67%) than spicy food eaters (33%), (p<0.001). T2DM patients demonstrated substantially higher prevalence than non-diabetics (81% vs 67%), (p=0.001). Rural inhabitants revealed greater prevalence than urban dwellers (66.6% vs 33.3% for males; 70% vs 40% for females), (p<0.01). Smokers exhibited higher seropositivity than non-smokers (41% vs 24%), (p<0.001). Infertile men showed poorer semen parameters with H. pylori infection (p<0.01). Good hygiene, healthy diets, and avoiding smoking are vital to curb H. pylori infection. Testing for this bacterium should be considered in infertility assessments

In general, obesity has been increasing at an alarming rate over the past 50 years. In 2022, obesity and its comorbidities accounted for 14.3 percent of this world health care expenditure [1]. A lot of people are uneasy about having bariatric surgery, and they could worry about what might go wrong before, during, or after the procedure. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that between 266 and 360 million surgeries take place globally year. Studies show that over 75% of individuals have stress [2]. This research to determine the impact of the rehabilitation program on the stress levels of patients following sleeve gastrostomy, to find out the relationship between patient's stress status and demographic characteristics (age, sex, level of education, and marital state). The current study was carried out using a quasi-experimental design, (two groups comparison), the study was conducted in center of hepatopathy and digestive diseases in AL-Hussein Teaching Hospital at AL-Muthanna city in Iraq. Study Sample: A non-probability (purposive) sample was taken from patients who performed gastric sleeve and the sample was (50) patients. Use questionnaire in this study. After the program was implemented, it was discovered that the case group had improved compared to the control group on the post-test. The patient stress after sleeve gastrectomy was high stress. The program which implemented on patients had a benefit feedback on patients

Impact of Money Supply on Inflation Rate in Nigeria

This study aim to explain the relationship between the money supply and inflation rate in the Nigeria's economy. In order to contribute to a deeper understanding of the critical economic relationship between money supply and the country's inflation rate, this study sought to elucidate the impact of these fluctuations. The data utilized for this analysis consisted of annual time series data spanning from 1990 to 2022, sourced from the CBN Statistical Bulletin. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model of analysis was employed. The empirical findings revealed that the various components of the money supply collectively contribute to the inflation rate, while the individual indicators of the money supply exhibit distinct consequences. Broad money supply and exchange rate demonstrate a negative relationship, albeit with weak significance in determining the inflation rate in Nigeria. On the other hand, interest rate has a positive effect on inflation rate. Based on these results, several policy implications can be derived. It is crucial for the government, when formulating monetary policy, to recognize that an increase in the money supply tends to have a more favorable response from the inflation rate. Additionally, the government must be mindful of the relationship between the interest rate and inflation rate. Therefore, this study recommends that the Central Bank of Nigeria comprehends the role of money supply in enhancing inflation rate adjustments and devises monetary policies that would facilitate the proper functioning of the economy, ultimately leading to a stable price level
