Perspective Sources from the Collection of Chinese cabbage (Brassica Rapa Subsp. Chinensis L.) for Breeding

    Get PDF
Chinese cabbage is an unconventional vegetable crop for Uzbekistan. In order to expand the range of vegetable crops, economically valuable traits of foreign varieties of Chinese cabbage were studied: varieties Vesnyanka, KV I047250, Vitavir, Golub, Korolla, Krasa Vostok and the Kholodok F1 hybrid in the climatic conditions of the Tashkent region. The variety Sharq guzali released in Uzbekistan was taken as a standard variety. As a result of three years of research, 6 samples of Chinese cabbage were identified as sources of early ripeninig and yield

Influence of Previous Crops on the Amount of Nutrients In the Soil

    Get PDF
Soils of the Republic of Karakalpakstan are salty and low in fertility. In such soils, the meliorative condition of soils should be improved and soil fertility should be increased for receiving high yield from agricultural crops. Crop rotation, organic and siderate fertilizers give good results in increasing soil fertility. In the field experiment, studies were conducted to determine the effect of crops included in short crop rotation systems on the amount of soil nutrients. In determining the effect of mung bean, sesame, and soybeans planted before winter wheat in the crop rotation system on the amount of nutrients in the soil, when planted by the method of cotton: previous crop mung bean + mung bean for siderate + 20 t/ha of manure + winter wheat: winter wheat the amount of humus in the soil has been found to have increased to 0.040%

Some Features of the Manifestation of Breeding Traits in Lambs of the Karakalpak Sur Breed Type

Karakalpakstan is one of the largest regions of karakul breeding in Uzbekistan and the main breeding base for breeding karakul sheep surs of the Karakalpak breed type of original colors. In connection with the foregoing, the establishment of some boundaries for the manifestation of breeding traits in sheep of a given color is considered relevant. The article presents the results of studies on the study of the severity of coloring and the length of curls in offspring obtained from a homogeneous and heterogeneous selection of Karakalpak sur sheep of different colors. The evaluation of the resulting offspring was carried out in accordance with the "Instructions for conducting breeding work in karakul breeding and evaluation (grading) of karakul lambs". As a result of the research, it was found that, depending on the colors of the parents and their selection in different variants, there is a significant variation in the yield of lambs in terms of the severity of colors. A significant superiority of the homogeneous selection of sheep of “Shamchirak” coloring was established in comparison with other selection options for the output of lambs with a strong coloring (90.0 ± 3.0%). This superiority was 22.0% in relation to the second selection option, 35% to the third, and 51.0% to the fourth. The results showed the presence of a certain dependence of the length of the curls on the color of the mated parents. At the same time, the offspring obtained from the selection of “Shamchirak x shamchirak” significantly exceeds (P<0.001) in terms of the yield of long-curled lambs (60.0±4.89%) the indicators of other options (25.0-31.0%). In the last three variants of selection, the offspring mainly had curls of medium length (52.0-58.0%)

The Role of Secondary Metabolites in the Conocarpus spp. in Controlling of Plant Diseases: A Review

    Get PDF
This study aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the conocarpus plant and its importance in several fields, including its ability to grow and survive and resist the environmental conditions to which it is exposed, as well as the aesthetic role of the plant and its use as windbreaks and erosion control and its properties in protecting plants from pathogens, which is due to its containment of secondary metabolites compounds (derivatives of primary metabolic compounds), in addition to the statement of the positive effect of conocarpus plant in reducing the plant diseases, which was confirmed by previous studies, as studies showed that aqueous and alcoholic extracts of conocarpus plant achieved a high effectiveness in reducing pathogens compared with control treatment (which represents the plant only). Also, it showed that the alcoholic extracts were the most effective in inhibiting pathogens in the laboratory experiments, reducing the infection percentage and infection severity in the field experiments and increasing the growth parameters compared with aqueous extracts

Application of Molecular Genetic Research Methods to Identify Mutations in the Cyp21a2 Gene Caused by Cah in Childhood

    Get PDF
The frequency of occurrence of non-classical forms of CAH in childhood is very high (1:1000), but classical forms range from 1:10,000 to 1:15,000 [7,10]. Most forms of the disease depend on the functional activity of the enzyme 21-hydroxylase. Detection of the disease using molecular genetic methods allows for quick, accurate diagnosis of the disease and selection of effective treatment for such patients
