Get PDFThe present paper reports about the use of authentic texts in linguodidactics. A special emphasis is placed on studying authentic texts in reflection of features and facts of national culture. As a rule, students learn new values through the text, knowledge of native speakers of the language being studied. The reflection in the texts of living real life arouses the interest of language learners, the willingness to enter into a discussion, to discuss the material. This article highlights information about linguadidactic peculiarities of authentic texts. The materials development was carried out by using L.Liar, M..Brins framework as a model. Moreover, approaches and views of other researches on the same issue such as Nosonovich, R. P. Milrud, G. I. Voronina and others were widely discussed
Comparative and Analysis of Wavelengths Windows by Using Optisystem Program
Get PDFThe transmission of data over long distances is a big challenge in the telecommunications industry. One way to achieve this is to use different wavelengths of light.In this article a comparison of wavelengths has been made to analysis of long-distance data transmission using three different wavelengths: 1625 nm, 1550 nm, and 810 nm. The purpose is to determine the most appropriate wavelength for transmitting data over distances from 60 km to 140 km, with increments of 20 km for each test. The rating is based on the performance of each wavelength in terms of signal quality, data integrity, and overall transmission efficiency.
To attain this, a comprehensive trial setup is employed. The investigational framework involves transferring data signals at every wavelengths over an optical fiber, and simulating altered transmission distances in the definite range. Key factors such as signal strength, Q. factor and bit error rate (BER) are wisely observed and analyzed. The obtained results show distinct features for each wavelengths with esteem to long-distance data transmission over the experimental usage in the simulation application for these wavelengths then examining the above factors

Evaluation of Natural Radioactive Concentration Levels in a Selection of Some Fauqi Oil Drilling Wells in Maysan Governorate, Iraq
Get PDFFrom the FQCS-80H and FQCS-86D wells in southern Maysan, Iraq, the concentrations of 226Ra, 232Th, and 40K radionuclides were measured for soil and rock at various depths. Utilizing an HPGe detector with energy resolution and a high-resolution gamma spectrometry system of (≤1.8 keV) for the 133 MeV gamma transition of 60Co. The soil and rock samples were collected at a depths range of 150–2800 m. Formation and the depths for the samples were determined. Comparable measurements from other countries were used to compare the natural radionuclide activity concentrations. The average activity for the isotopes 226Ra, 232Th, and 40K was 12.17 Bq/kg, 11.06 Bq/kg, and 373.42 Bq/kg, respectively. The average radium equivalent activities and gamma dose rate were 56.75 and 27.81 nGy/h, respectively. All measurements were determined to be below their respective allowed limits (226Ra, 232Th, and 40K)
