The Benefits of Using Gimkit and Kahoot Online Applications to Promote Interactive Learning Among Pharmacy Students

Students' participation in the didactic classroom environment limits their time spent on active learning, which has a negative impact on their recollection of topics taught using traditional teaching methods. As a result, interactive learning is employed as a substitute for engaging students in the classroom and enriching their learning experience. Integrating interactive learning activities has been proved to improve student learning and outcomes. The goals of this study are to analyze students' perceptions of the benefits and appropriateness of using online technologies (such as Socrative and Yammer) to encourage student interaction with the teacher and other students in the classroom setting

Artificial Intelligence in the Process of Simultaneous Translation

Artificial intelligence, like translators, has the ability to quickly translate communication from one language to another at the same time. Until recently, it was considered just a fantasy. But today we can see that any person standing in different corner of the world can talk to people of other nationalities as if they were talking in their mother tongue. This is done on the basis of ordinary headphones, with the help of artificial intelligence. In many conferences, simultaneous interpretation is also done on the basis of artificial intelligence. When a speaker is speaking in one language, the listener is able to hear him in his own national language with the help of an artificial translation service. Despite the many advantages of using this type of computerized translation service in the simultaneous translation process, there are also some misunderstandings in the translation process

Innovative Pipeline Solution for Water Scarcity in Iraq

This project aims to transport potable water from Mosul Dam Lake to Basra Governorate via a pipeline designed to meet specific engineering requirements. The pipeline intersects reservoirs in central and southern governorates, supporting the Shatt al-Arab using the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The route, optimized through spatial data analysis, leverages topographical inclines for efficient water flow. The project addresses a critical need for potable water in central and southern regions, functions as an emergency backup for potential dam failures along the Tigris, and operates to maintain urban water quality amidst river pollution. Additionally, the pipeline's interior routing mitigates risks from terrorism and evaporation. Employing artificial intelligence in project management ensures cost-effective and efficient pipeline administration. This study highlights the innovative approach to water transport, addressing health, environmental, and security challenges, and filling a significant gap in regional water resource management

Whether the Corona Virus Has Completely Left the Human Body or Remains in the Body and Causes Other Viral Diseases

Whole viruses, also called virions, comprise either RNA or DNA surrounded by a protein coat. Those that persist in sanctuary sites can continue gradually infecting the cells around them. There they hijack the host cell(s) to make copies of themselves. RNA viruses such as hepatitis C virus5 and HIV6 can evade immune control and can continuously produce infectious virions throughout a patient’s life

The Incidence of Breast Cancer in Egyptian Females in Correlation to Different Mammographic ACR Densities

Breast cancer is the leading cause of illness and cancer-related death in women worldwide. Breast cancer is a complex illness, and one of the risk factors for non-familial breast cancereis breast density. Aim: To assess  and detect the relationship between different breasts mammographic densities and the risk for breast cancer among asymptomatic females. Methods: An analytic cross-sectional study was conducted and included 814 women outreached for screening by digital mammography by the Presidential Program for Women Health in the period from January 2020 to December 2021. Results: 52.1% of the females had type B density, while 24.1% were type C, 21.6% were type A, and 2.2% were type D. 10.3% of the recruited females were found to suffer from breast cancer. There was a statistically significant difference between the type of breast density among the females diagnosed with breast cancer  Conclusion: Breast cancer density  is significantly associated with breast cancer. Female patients with type D breast density had 3 times more risk of developing breast cancer and this risk decreases as the breast density decrease

Analysis Of Risk Factors For Hypoxic Damages Of Newborn`S Central Nervous System

Currently, perinatal damage to the central nervous system of newborns occupies an important place in the structure of pathology of young children, which is associated with high prevalence, severity of clinical manifestations and the risk of disability formation. The purpose of our study was to determine the significance of risk factors for the development and to develop criteria for the severity of hypoxic-ischemic CNS damage in newborns. We examined 120 newborns with moderate to severe perinatal CNS damage. The examination consisted of the collection of maternal history, which included information on somatic and gynecological diseases, the course of this pregnancy, childbirth, general clinical examination methods, examination of a newborn with an assessment of somatic and neurological status. The results of the study showed that modifying risk factors for the development of moderate perinatal encephalopathy are the threat of miscarriage, toxicosis, the age of the mother over 35 years old, moderate anemia, acute upper respiratory tract infections, gynecological pathology, taking antifungal drugs, rapid and protracted childbirth, weak birth activity. We also found that the modifying risk factors for the development of severe perinatal encephalopathy are stillbirth, bad habits in the father, closely related marriage, obesity, chronic foci of infection, acute bacterial infectious diseases, urogenital infection, NSAIDs, rapid and protracted childbirth, chronic fetal hypoxia

Evaluation and Treatment of the Incidence of Otomycosis in Patients Visiting the ENT Clinic

Otomycosis is a fungal infection of the outer ear that causes more than 9% of external otitis, and 80% of cases are caused by Aspergillus. This study aimed to analyse and assess outcomes related to patients with otomycosis during visits to the ENT clinic. The current study conducted a comprehensive evaluation of patients with otomycosis, which include 110 who underwent treatment during the first and second visits to the ear, nose, and throat clinic, which lasted 30 days. The clinical results of the patients were collected before and after treatment, which included medications associated with the treatment of otomycosis, which included both betadine and clotrimazole, which lasted 30 days during the first and second visits. This study evaluated patients with otomycosis before and after treatment in terms of the severity of symptoms, degree of pain, and patient’s quality of life. This study recorded the results of patients with otomycosis, which showed that patients between the ages of 40 and 49 had the highest rate of 36.36%. The most common symptoms are itching, which included 77 patients, and pain, which included 22 patients. The reasons that make patients more they are susceptible to otomycosis as 33 patients were infected as a result of using a hearing aid, 28 patients were infected as a result of water entering the ear, and 20 patients were infected as a result of using a hearing aid. In the presence of oil in the ear, 14 patients responded to betadine treatment, and ten patients responded to clotrimazole treatment in the first visit period. We also found that 87 patients responded to betadine treatment, and 97 patients responded to clotrimazole treatment in the second visit period. We evaluated symptom severity in patients with otomycosis, where the symptom score was 89.10 ± 4.25 at the first visit and 11.79 ± 2.58 at the second visit. Our study confirmed that the treatments betadine and clotrimazole demonstrate the effectiveness of their therapeutic effects on patients with otomycosis
