Complications of upper urinary tract stenting
Restoration of the passage of urine along the upper urinary tract is routinely provided by the installation of external or internal drainage. Due to its objective advantages, internal drainage has been successfully used in upper urinary tract surgery. The review outlines the problems associated with the use of internal stents, namely: difficulties in installation, migration, reflux and obstruction of the stent, bacterial colonization of the stent, the development of functional and morphological changes in the drained segment of the urinary tract
Analysis of Ecg and Echo Results in Hypertensive Patients Depending on Bmi Degrees
The risk of developing obesity-related diseases is largely determined by the characteristics of adipose tissue deposition in the body. A constant increase in blood pressure is accompanied by a decrease in peripheral blood flow and endothelial dysfunction. The risk of developing diseases associated with overweight is largely determined by the characteristics of adipose tissue deposition in the body
Sports Genetics is the Key to High Achievements of Athletes
Sports genetics is one of the young sciences. Genetic factors are generally known to affect strength and endurance, but only a few studies have examined the relationship between genetic factors and athletic performance in young athletes. One of the intensively developing areas of modern genetics is the development of molecular genetic approaches that make it possible to determine a person's predisposition to various types of activity, which is determined by the need to substantiate a system for selecting people for playing sports and correcting the training process. This approach is the most promising, since it allows you to determine the genetic predisposition to the performance of large physical activities and to carry out a targeted differentiated selection of children for sports at the earliest stages of their sports activity. Currently, predictive medicine is actively developing, the purpose of which is to identify possible diseases in a particular patient by the DNA structure, as well as to develop a set of preventive or health-improving measures based on these studies. Such preventive measures are also important in sports, so sports genetics can achieve high results using scientific methods
THE USE OF ELECTROCOAGULATION IN THE SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PAPILLOMAS OF THE NASAL CAVITY AND PARANASAL SINUSES
The article presents analytical studies of surgical treatment of papillomas of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses using electrocoagulation. It was concluded that this method of treatment is effective: minimal tissue bleeding, improved visibility of the surgical field, complete excision of papillomas, a smooth postoperative period, a reduction in the number of disease relapses, and the possibility of treating patients on an outpatient basis
Modern Diagnostics and Treatment of Opticochiasmal Arachnoiditis
despite the variety of works devoted to MR tractography, the literature does not sufficiently cover the issues of visualization of the visual tract in patients with optochiasmal arachnoiditis. Below is a clinical case of MR tractography and effective treatment of a patient with optochiasmal arachnoiditis. Objective: to analyze the effectiveness of using MR tractography in the diagnosis and treatment of opticochiasmatic arachnoiditis.
The Role IgM, IgG a, Complementary Factors C3, C4 and Latex assay in C-reactive Protein Positive Assay) in Perioniditis Patients
Periodontal diseases include the common inflammatory disorders known as gingivitis and periodontitis, which are caused by microbes in the biofilms under the gums. The study aimed to identify the level of CRP, C3, C4, IgG and IgM in the serum of patients with periodontal diseases compared to its level in the healthy people. Sixty blood samples were collected from patients with Periodontal diseases , and 30 apparently healthy individuals who were considered as a control group .The current study showed that the prevalence of the disease was higher in females (n=33 ) than in males (n=27), ( 55.0% , 45.0%), respectively. As the highest rate of infection was within the age group from 30-39 years, at a rate of 36.7%, and the lowest was within 50-59 years at a rate of 3.3% .It was found through statistical analysis of the results that there are very high significant differences (p<0.001)between smoking and non-smoking patients. Chronic gingivitis had the highest prevalence rate of 51.7%, among other types. The results of the study also indicated that the CRP positivity in patients with Periodontal diseases was 68.3% and negative 31.7% . That the level of C3 and C4 in the sera of patients ,increased significantly P value (0.001,0.004) respectively, compared to its level in the sera of healthy subjects, where the mean ± standard deviation was [( 208.78 ± 55.40 and 138.67 ± 39.69);(43.65 ± 10.80 and 30.03 ± 9.81)] mg/dl, respectively. It was observed from the results of the study that the level of the IgM and IgG immunoglobulin of the patients had a very high significant increase (p <0.001) ,compared to the healthy group, [(228.37 ± 42.83 and 147.33 ± 13.86);(169.72 ± 68.32)] mg / dl, respectively

Health Care Workers Knowledge and Attitude on Tuberculosis Infection Control \ Mosul-Iraq
BACKGROUND: M. tuberculosis infection has a considerable global impact. The World Health Organization estimated in 2021 that more than two billion individuals, nearly one-third of the worldwide population were infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB remains a leading cause of mortality in the world according to the WHO. The aim of the current study was to assess the knowledge and attitude between specialist and general practitioners who are working in the primary health care centers in Mosul City in Iraq.
METHODS: A cross-sectional survey was performed using a pretested self-administered questionnaire on a sample of 190 randomly selected doctors (specialists and general practitioners) from primary health care centers in Mosul. Descriptive analysis was used in data analysis.
RESULTS: The level of knowledge on TB infection control among almost half (45.8%) of the HCWs was good. The knowledge level was significantly associated with educational status, and TB training and/or orientation received. The majority (73.2%) of HCWs had positive attitude towards TB infection control.
CONCLUSIONS: The majority of participants had good knowledge about disease signs and symptoms, GP and specialists had significant differences in their knowledge about the necessity of sputum tests in the diagnosis of tuberculosis. Majority of participants exhibited a positive attitude towards TB patients
Anomaly of the Upper Jaw in Children When Exposed to Various External Factors
Improving dental health and quality of life by synchronizing with surgical interventions in children born with facial–jaw abnormalities, providing orthodontic care, preventing possible congenital deformities, restoring myofunctional muscle balance is one of the urgent problems of orthodontics
Teeth Transplant In Chronic Periodontitis Inoutpatient Conditions
Considering the importance and activity of the problem, we set ourselves the goal in this work: to study the frequency, clinical picture and course of chronic periodontitis in people of different ages, to preserve the causative tooth6. Materials and methods of research: We conducted a study and studied 62 patients with various types of chronic periodontitis of one or another tooth treated in the clinic of maxillofacial surgery BukhGosmi in 2012-2016. Conclusion: Thus, the results of clinical studies have shown that in the treatment of chronic periodontitis, they contribute to the early elimination of local and general signs of inflammation, it is possible to save the causative tooth according to its condition. As a result, replantation is easily accessible, simple and effective, less traumatic, and the replacement of dentition defects by transplantation is the ideal that humanity is striving for
