How Social Media Influences Travel Decisions: The Effect of User-Generated Content, Visual Appeal, And Storytelling on Destination Intentions
Get PDFIn the current digital era, social media plays an increasingly crucial role in destination branding, offering tourism marketers a global platform to promote destinations through engaging and visually compelling content. This study aims to explore the effects of user-generated content (UGC), destination storytelling (DS), and visually appealing content (VAC) on tourists' intention to visit a destination. The proliferation of social media has enabled tourists to share their authentic travel experiences, making UGC a reliable source of information and fostering trust in potential travelers. Storytelling allows destinations to craft narratives that evoke emotional connections, while visually appealing content, such as high-quality photos and videos, enhances destination attractiveness by sparking wanderlust. By examining these elements, the study seeks to determine their individual and combined impacts on travel intentions. The findings will offer insights into how tourism marketers can effectively utilize social media to create compelling destination brands, engage with potential tourists, and drive economic growth. These insights will be valuable for marketing organizations, tourism boards, and destination managers aiming to refine their social media strategies to attract more visitors
Soft-Power as means of strengthening India-Türkiye relations post 2003

With an aim to increase bilateral trade, both the countries embraced liberalization, which saw bilateral trade increasing from 9.6 billion in 2023, despite 2008 global financial crisis and Covid-19 pandemic. This article examines the Türkiye-India relations post 2003, focussing on soft power as manifested through cultural and economic spheres. Emphasizing the importance of soft power, such as Bollywood’s popularity in Türkiye and Turkish television dramas in India, alongside other collaborative initiatives in arts, education, and tourism, this article argues that soft power can generate lasting bonds, positioning Türkiye and India to deepen their relationship and forge new avenues for cooperation as global dynamics shifts

The aspect of town finding under the sultans hasn’t received much attention particularly in the region under review. Consumer Product Returns: Insights Into Behaviour and Reverse Logistics Processes

Product returns are a major issue in e-commerce as they have an impact on operational effectiveness and reverse logistics. The dynamics of product returns are examined in this research, with an emphasis on customer behavior and how it affects reverse logistics. Product returns, which are mostly the result of unhappy customers, misplaced expectations, or lax return procedures, are an important part of post-purchase correspondence between customers and merchants. According to research, more than 30% of online purchases are returned, mostly because the expectations were not fulfilled rather than because the product was defective. Customers frequently create mental pictures of things via e-commerce as it lacks the in-person interaction of conventional shopping, which can result in returns when expectations are not fulfilled.The process of handling returns, remanufacturing, and recycling known as reverse logistics which is essential to lowering the financial and environmental expenses related to product returns. The findings of this research looks at the various stages of consumer decision-making and how they affect return behavior. It suggests that in order for return policies to be effective, customer satisfaction and operational cost management must be balanced

Nation, Identity and Ethnicity: The Concerns of Sri Lankan Repatriates in Kerala

The Sri Lankan repatriates of Tamil ethnicity migrated from India to Ceylon during the colonial era. The Indo-Sri Lankan agreements in 1964, 1974 and 1986 repatriated a group off individuals to India. These repatriates were relocated to the plantations in Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Palakkad and Wayand districts of Kerala. This study aims to examine the conflicts pertaining to nationality, identity and the experiences of these individuals. An Economic Analysis on Inequities in Out of Pocket Expenditures in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State
Get PDFThe importance of essential healthcare has become a crucial condition to consider to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC). According to reports, more than 150 million individuals face financial hardship. Every year, thousands of people are forced into poverty as a result of out-of-pocket expenses. Out-of-pocket spending accounts for around 62.6 percent of overall health expenditure in India, making it one of the highest in the world. The implementation of the Rajiv Aarogyasri Scheme in undivided Andhra Pradesh in 2007 was designed to safeguard families from poverty. There are many measures to measure inequality. One such widely used measure is the concentration index which we have used to analyze inequalities in healthcare burden across various groups. Concentration indices assess the disparity between the distributions of two variables. using concentration indices reveals significant differences in the burden of OOP healthcare spending within a state. Here, we have analyzed unit-level data from NSSO’s 71st and 75th Rounds to analyze the changes in OOPME (Out of Pocket Medical Expenditure) and the inequalities among the various economic classes and social groups. We have conducted econometric tests using the Concentration Index to identify the changing nature of inequalities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State. The purpose of this study was to assess how inequities are in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. How the government has insured households and the status of inequities across Rural and Urban areas and inequalities across economic classes and within social groups? The study conducted econometric tests such as concentration index. The share of health spending by household incomes and savings in India has risen, but there has been a major fall in borrowings to meet the health expenditure. There has been an increase in OOPME from 71st to 75th for AP and Telangan
