In the past five year, the policy-backed trend to push workers from low productive agriculture to seek better employment opportunities in the urban centres stands reversed. An indication to the swing in reverse migration first came at the time Covid-19 pandemic when millions of urban poor traversed long distances, mostly on foot, in what was seen as the largest movement of people since the days of the partition. Today hard work of farmers is being empowered by technology with rise of farm mechanization. Agriculture is becoming more productive, efficient and sustainable. Mechanization of agriculture is an essential input to the modern agriculture. It enhances productivity, besides reducing human drudgery and cost of cultivation. Mechanization also helps in improving utilization efficiencies of other inputs, safety and comfort of the Agricultural worker, improvements in the quality and the value addition of the produce. Besides, enabling the farmers to rise a second crop or multi crop making the Indian agriculture attractive and way of life by becoming commercial instead of subsistence
