Perhitungan Modifikasi Cadangan Premi Pada Asuransi Jiwa Dwiguna Menggunakan Metode Commissioners
. Cadangan premi memiliki fungsi penting dalam menjaga kemampuan finansial perusahaan asuransi
jiwa guna melaksanakan kewajiban pembayaran klaim di masa mendatang. Pada tahun pertama masa polis,
seringkali nilai cadangan yang dibutuhkan melebihi jumlah premi yang diterima, yang dapat menimbulkan
ketidakseimbangan dana. Maka, dibutuhkan pendekatan hitungan yang mampu memodifikasi cadangan premi
secara lebih optimal. Tujuan dari studi ini ialah untuk menentukan modifikasi cadangan premi untuk produk
asuransi jiwa dwiguna menggunakan metode commissioners. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif melalui studi
kasus pada data nasabah PT. Bhinneka Life Regional Padang tahun 2023, menggunakan asumsi tarif suku bunga
6% serta Tabel Mortalita Indonesia 2019. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi lapangan serta studi
pustaka. Temuan studi mengindikasikan metode Commissioners menghasilkan struktur premi modifikasi yang
efisien, dengan premi awal yang lebih rendah dibanding tahun-tahun berikutnya, namun tetap menjamin
tersedianya cadangan yang memadai hingga akhir masa pertanggungan. Metode ini terbukti efektif dalam
mengatasi ketimpangan nilai cadangan di awal masa asuransi
Improving Grade III Students\u27 Mathematics Learning Outcomes in Multiplication Using the Jarimatika Method
Improving students’ mastery of basic arithmetic, especially multiplication, remains an urgent issue in elementary mathematics education because many students still struggle with abstract numerical procedures that hinder their overall mathematical development. Addressing this challenge, this study aims to enhance students’ learning outcomes in multiplication through the application of the Jarimatika method in grade III of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Mun\u27im. The study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design implemented in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants were 17 grade III students at MI Nurul Mun’im. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate a substantial improvement in students’ achievement after the introduction of the Jarimatika method. The average score increased from 58 on the pre-test to 74 on the post-test of Cycle I, and further improved to 89 in the post-test of Cycle II. The percentage of students achieving mastery also rose from 29% to 59% and ultimately reached 100%. These results demonstrate that the Jarimatika method is effective in significantly improving students’ multiplication skills and can serve as a practical alternative strategy for strengthening foundational numeracy in elementary schools
PENERAPAN PEWARNAAN GRAF PADA PENYUSUNAN PETA ZONASI SMA NEGERI DI KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR BERDASARKAN DATA PPDB TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023 MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA WELCH-POWELL
Abstrak. Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) jalur zonasi merupakan salah satu strategi penting dalam pemerataan pendidikan di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Indonesia. Kebijakan zonasi sekolah diyakini oleh pemerintah pusat dapat mewujudkan tantangan pemerataan kualitas pendidikan antar sekolah dan berkeadilan. Kabupaten Karanganyar menerapkan sistem ini untuk memastikan distribusi siswa berdasarkan kedekatan geografis antara tempat tinggal siswa dan sekolah. Namun, tantangan utama dalam pelaksanaan sistem zonasi adalah menentukan zona penerimaan yang optimal atau kekurangan kuota di sekolah-sekolah yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan dan menyelesaikan masalah zonasi pada peta PPDB SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Karanganyar menggunakan teori graf, khususnya pewarnaan graf. Algoritma Welch-Powell digunakan sebagai metode utama dalam pewarnaan graf ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan algoritma Welch-Powell mampu memetakan zonasi dengan warna minimum, sehingga dapat menjadi pertimbangan pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Karanganyar untuk meningkatkan pemerataan akses pendidikan di Kabupaten Karanganyar, terutama sebagai pertimbangan pembangunan Unit Sekolah Baru (USB) di wilayah-wilayah yang belum terdapat SMA Negeri
Kemampuan Penyelesaian Masalah Matematis Siswa melalui Soal Cerita Deret Aritmatika dengan Tahapan Ideal: STUDENTS MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS THROUGH ARITHMETIC SEQUENCE WORD PROBLEMS WITH IDEAL STEPS
This research aims to describe the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students at SMAN 7 Pontianak regarding story problems in arithmetic sequences, based on the IDEAL stages. The subjects of this study were selected based on their categorization into high, medium, and low ability students. This research employed a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. The instruments used for data collection included problem-solving ability test results and interview sheets.The findings of the study indicate that: (a) subjects with high problem-solving abilities successfully completed all five stages of the IDEAL problem-solving process. (b) subjects with medium problem-solving abilities were able to perform the IDEAL stages, but their results still contained errors. (c) subjects with low problem-solving abilities struggled to complete all five IDEAL stages when solving story problems in arithmetic sequences. Students with lower academic performance were only able to identify problems. They faced difficulties in defining goals and exploring possible strategies, which led to mistakes in the subsequent stages
Selection Of The Most Favorite Mineral Water Among Students Using The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method
Mineral water is a type of water that contains natural minerals or other dissolved substances that can provide taste and health benefits. However, the selection of the most favorite mineral water among students is still not accurate. This is what makes the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as data processing as the selection of the most favourite mineral water and generates a ranking of the weight calculation of the mineral water selection. The SAW method is used to solve qualitative problems in the selection of mineral water, comparing one criterion to another in order to assess each brand of mineral water in the UINSU Tuntungan area and provide the results of the selection of the most favourite mineral water. This study used 100 student data, 5 brands of mineral water, and 6 criteria, namely price, taste, packaging, water quality, brand, and availability. After determining the weight value of each attribute using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), each alternative is chosen using ranking. This technique facilitates decision-making and yields the optimum outcome. When it comes to selecting mineral water, the findings of this study offer the finest option
MENJELAJAH KONVERGENSI BARISAN LEWAT PYTHON INTEGRASI ANALISIS MATEMATIS DAN KOMPUTASIONAL
Konsep konvergensi barisan merupakan salah satu topik fundamental dalam Analisis Real yang sering kali menimbulkan kendala konseptual dan prosedural bagi pembelajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menganalisis sebuah program berbasis Python yang dirancang untuk mengevaluasi konvergensi barisan secara sistematis melalui integrasi pendekatan analitik dan numerik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan deskriptif-komputasional, yang mencakup perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian program. Program ini mengadopsi definisi limit, kriteria Cauchy, dan estimasi limit berbasis representasi simbolik untuk mengidentifikasi sifat konvergen atau divergen dari suatu barisan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa program mampu mengevaluasi berbagai bentuk barisan dengan tingkat akurasi tinggi dan ketahanan terhadap keragaman struktur ekspresi. Keunggulan utama terletak pada efisiensi pemrosesan serta kemampuannya dalam menginterpretasi ekspresi matematis kompleks secara simbolik. Meskipun demikian, keterbatasan masih dijumpai, terutama terkait ketergantungan pada format sintaks yang tepat dan ketiadaan visualisasi grafis dinamis. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa program yang dikembangkan berpotensi menjadi alat bantu inovatif dalam mendukung pemahaman konsep konvergensi barisan. Disarankan pengembangan lanjutan melalui integrasi antarmuka visual interaktif dan perluasan kapabilitas komputasi simbolik agar program ini semakin optimal sebagai media pembelajaran Analisis Real
Eksplorasi Penerapan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi pada Materi Data dan Diagram
The diverse characteristics of students in the classroom require the implementation of instructional strategies that can meet individual learning needs. Differentiated instruction is one such strategy that can accommodate this diversity, particularly in mathematics education. This study describes the application of differentiated instruction in teaching Data and Diagrams in Class VII.A at SMP Negeri 4 Sungguminasa during the 2023/2024 academic year. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method involving one mathematics teacher and 34 students as subjects. Data were collected through observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings reveal that the teacher implemented various teaching methods, such as group discussions and the use of technology, while actively providing feedback. Despite challenges in adapting methods to meet the needs of all students, the teacher responsded positively to the implementation of differentiated instruction and recognized the need for further training. Student participation indicated that this approach enhanced understanding and motivation, although some students still required additional guidance. These findings suggest that differentiated instruction plays a role in meeting diverse learning needs in the classroom, yet further development is needed to ensure its effectiveness for all students
Studi Etnomatematika Masjid Agung Syahrun Nur di Tapanuli Selatan untuk Pembelajaran Bangun Datar dan Ruang
This study examines ethnomathematics exploration in the architecture of Nurul Anwar Mosque as a way for students of MTs. Mambaul Ulum Banjarejo to learn geometry. The architectural elements of this mosque reflect various mathematical concepts, such as plane shapes (rectangle, rhombus, circle) and solid shapes (half sphere, cylinder, cuboid), and geometric transformations (rotation, reflection). This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that uses ethnomathematics exploration. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and geometric measurements. The results of the study indicate that geometric elements of the mosque can be integrated into mathematics learning to improve students\u27 understanding of geometric concepts contextually and applicatively. This approach not only makes learning more relevant and interesting, but also preserves local cultural values. In culture-based education, using ethnomathematics can strengthen students\u27 identity in Islamic education and instill an appreciation for cultural heritage and can improve understanding of mathematics learning
Eksplorasi Etnomatematika Pada Kolam Segaran : Membaca Warisan Budaya Majapahit Dalam Perspektif Matematika
Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi etnomatematika pada Kolam Segaran, sebuah situs budaya peninggalan Kerajaan Majapahit, dengan tujuan memahami nilai-nilai matematis yang terkandung dalam desainnya serta mengintegrasikannya ke dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi digunakan untuk menggali keterkaitan antara konsep geometri, aljabar, dan pengukuran yang terimplementasi dalam struktur Kolam Segaran. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi dengan informan yang memiliki pemahaman mendalam tentang budaya Majapahit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kolam Segaran memuat konsep matematika seperti bangun datar, bangun ruang, luas permukaan, volume bangun ruang, simetri, dan rasio, yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengajarkan prinsip-prinsip geometri dan aljabar dalam konteks yang relevan. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap matematika tetapi juga mendorong apresiasi terhadap warisan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan kurikulum berbasis budaya, menjadikan Kolam Segaran sebagai model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan aplikatif untuk menghubungkan pendidikan matematika dengan kekayaan budaya Indonesia
Kontribusi Resiliensi Matematis terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika
This study aims to analyze the contribution of mathematical resilience to students\u27 mathematics learning outcomes. Mathematical resilience is defined as the ability of students to persevere, recover, and adapt positively in facing difficulties or challenges in mathematics learning. This study employs a quantitative method using descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and simple linear regression analysis techniques. The population of this study consists of Grade X students in the 2024/2025 academic year at MAN 3 Tasikmalaya. The sample comprises 30 students from class X-4, selected using a random sampling technique. The results show a significant positive correlation of mathematical resilience to mathematics learning outcomes. Mathematical resilience contributes 24.8% to mathematics learning outcomes, while the remaining 75.2% is determined by other factors. These findings indicate that students with higher levels of mathematical resilience tend to achieve better learning outcomes compared to less resilient students
