Analysis Of The Accountability Of School Operational Support Funds (BOS) At Secondary Schools (SMA/SMK) In West Sumatra
This study aims to identify and analyze the accountability of BOS funds management in the aspects of planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating BOS funds at SMA/SMK school level in West Sumatra after the transfer of authority from the district / city government to the provincial government. Thus it is expected that potential problems can be clearly seen and then solutions can be given.The population in this study is a state SMA/SMK school that is under the authority of the government of West Sumatra. West Sumatra has 537 secondary education units consisting of 325 high schools and 212 vocational schools spread across 19 districts / cities. In this initial research, the researchers selected several public high schools / vocational schools in Padang and Bukittinggi as samples. Padang and Bukittinggi were chosen because they are big and advanced cities in terms of education. The selection criteria for SMA / SMK in this study are based on the categories of good, medium and bad schools in each region. Schools are meant for Padang: SMA 1, SMA 9, SMA 16 and SMK 9. For Bukittinggi: SMA 1, SMA 5, SMA 4 and SMK 1.From the results of this study it can be concluded that the transfer of authority accompanied by changes in grant expenditure into direct expenditure of BOS funds has changed the form of BOS funding accountability in public SMA/SMKin West Sumatra. The school did not object because this change encouraged better management of BOS funds in the future
Teachers Effective Teaching Strategies Viewed from Psychology Educational Perspective
The impact of the advanced age and the developing innovation can be noteworthy in early childhood brain research. Children of an early age tend to be more responsive to computerized situations that progressively rule lifestyle. In any case, disgraceful abuse of screens and computerized substances can result in rest disarranges, expanded levels of uneasiness, and trouble concentrating. Therefore, it is necessary to study psychological values as a predictor of successful education. To answer the research problem, this study employed a literature review from several experts related to the method of making scientific papers. The data was obtained from the results of scientific books and journals. The result revealed that to succeed the education and learning preparation, teachers must have complex information about the students` development within the school. The teachers are required to be able to understand the common issues of understudies and to understand the age of learners when they can unique considering, understanding the behavior of learners both positive and negative.
Gestion de Déchets Plastiques dans la Commune de Limeté à Kinshasa en République Démocratique du Congo
The objective of this article was to analyze the management of plastic waste in the commune of Limeté in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The results of the surveys revealed that 766 (76.6%) people surveyed do not have trash cans, however 234 (23.4%) people do. Waste recycling is not practiced by the majority of respondents, 763 (76.3%) and only 237 (23.7%) recycle plastic waste. Plastic waste is not reused by 765 (76.5%) respondents and 235 respondents (23.5%) reuse their waste. The results of the reconversion indicate that 768 (76.8%) individuals do not reconvert plastic waste. The majority of respondents 897 (89.7%) incinerate plastic waste and 103 (10.3%) respondents do not incinerate plastic waste. Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Potential of Some Agarwood Plant Extracts (Aquilaria malaccensis Lamk.) Against Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213 and Candida albicans (C.P Robin) Berkhout 1923
Research on the Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Potential of some Agarwood Plant Extracts (Aquilaria malaccensis Lamk) against Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213 and Candida albicans (C.P Robin) Berkhout 1923 has been carried out at the Microbiology Laboratory of Andalas University in April - July 2023. This study aims to determine the antimicrobial and antioxidant activity of some Agarwood Plant Extracts. The method used in this research is the experimental method of nested pattern. The results showed that each extract gave a significantly different effect on S. aureus with the largest inhibition zone in the leaf extract of (9.79 mm) and E. coli of (7.37 mm), but did not give a significantly different effect on C. albicans, because no inhibition zone was found. The Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) of the leaf extract against S. aureus was 6.25% with a Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) of 50% and the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) value of E. coli was 3.125% with a Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) of 12.5%. The percentage of inhibition of agarwood leaf extract against the growth of E. coli and S. aureus was (30.18%) and (43.84%) of the positive control chloramphenicol (0.1 mg/ml). While the percentage of inhibition of agarwood leaf extract against the growth of C. albicans was (28.70%) from the positive control of fluconazole (0.1 mg/ml). The highest antioxidant activity was found in the leaf extract with an IC50 value of 50.47 μg/ml. The highest polyphenol content was found in the leaf extract at 34.14 mgGAE/ml.
Contribution des Espaces Verts A l’Atténuation De l’Effet De Serre Additionnel dans la Ville de Cotonou
Les espaces verts jouent un rôle primordial dans la réduction des gaz à effet de serre dans la ville de Cotonou. L’objectif de cette recherche est d’étudier la contribution des espaces verts à l’atténuation de l’effet de serre additionnel dans la ville de Cotonou. L’approche méthodologique utilisée a consisté premièrement à la collecte des données, ensuite à leur traitement et en fin à l’analyse des résultats. En effet, lors des enquêtes de terrain, l’échantillonnage a permis d’interroger 160 personnes.Les résultats obtenus montrent que 27 artères végétalisées ont répertoriées dans la ville de Cotonou, 15 Ronds-points végétalisés et 17 places publiques ont été reverdies. En outre, les espaces verts sont plus localisés dans les 1er, 2ème, 3ème, 4ème, 5ème, 6ème et 7ème 8ème et 12ème Arrondissements de Cotonou. Le 2ème, 9ème et le 13ème Arrondissement de Cotonou disposent très peu d’espaces verts. De plus, les espaces verts de la ville de Cotonou comptent 66 espèces végétales réparties en 48 familles. Cependant, la classe de diamètre compris entre 30 et 40 cm ont un taux élevé de carbone stocké. La capacité de stockage des artères est de 98,61 et 11,83 pour les ronds-points. De même, le stock moyen de carbone varie de 2,49 à 3,25 selon les types d’espace vert avec une différence significative au seuil de 95 %. De plus, le carbone varie de3681,17 à 2260 dans les autres espaces et de 372,50 à 210,91 dans la zone tampon. Ainsi, les espaces verts contribuent positivement la variation de carbone dans la ville de Cotonou. Des mesures ont été proposées. Il s’agit de la mise en place du Plan Climat Energie Territorial, la promotion des îlots de fraîcheur en ville et le reboisement des arbres pour stocker le CO2 et filtrer les polluants
Induction Of Labour By Combined Methods Of Induction-Case Report
The timely onset of labor is an important determinant of perinatal outcome. Induction of labour or the artificial initiation of labour , is a common intervention in modern obstetrics. One of the most common reasons for labor induction is postterm pregnancy (i.e. > 41 weeks of gestation). Pregnant woman G3P2 applied to the TSMU The First University Clinic at 41 weeks, induction of labor was offered to her , by mechanical method – Foleys catheter after written consent. Before and after induction of labour by mechanical method, we evaluated uterine cervix by the same 3 points according to Bishop's scoring system. Since the pregnant woman did not have a regular uterine contractions, after this mechanical method, a medical method of labor induction was offered to her, with the drug Cytotec (misoprostol), to which the pregnant woman again gave her written consent. The specified dose was given 1 time, after which a regular labor was established every 10 minutes 3 times with a duration of 35-40 seconds. The cervix was evaluated according to Bishop's scoring system with 8 points, an amniotomy was performed and the woman gave birth in 5 hours, without complications, the newborn was evaluated with 7/8 points according to the Apgar scoring system. We suggest that Foley catheter in combination with oral misoprostol is an alternative way for induction of labor. The combination of this different methods of induction reduces labor duration, which provide good outcome

L’infection au SRAS-CoV-2 entraine des lésions vasculaires endothéliale au niveau cérébral. L’association de l’infection avec la rupture anévrysmale intracrânienne soulève la question d’une éventuelle relation de causalité. D’où l’intérêt de notre cas. Il s’agit d’une femme de 50 ans, hypertendu connue et ménopausé, admis pour une céphalée brutale avec perte de conscience bref, dans un contexte subfébrile et d’une dyspnée hypoxemiante. Elle a présenté un état de somnolence, un syndrome méningé et un syndrome infectieux clinique et biologique. Le scanner a retrouvé une hémorragie méningée Fischer 3 sur rupture anévrysmale localisé au niveau de l’artère communicante antérieure
Risque Climatique et Sécurité Alimentaire dans le Bassin Versant de l’Okpara a l’Exutoire de Kaboua
La dépendance de l’Afrique subsaharienne aux incidences accrues des aléas climatiques extrêmes augmente les problèmes liés à la sécurité alimentaire face aux risques qui en découlent.La démarche méthodologique utilisée est basée sur la recherche documentaire et les travaux de terrain. L’analyse des données pluviométriques sur la série 1960-2022 à la Méteo-Bénin ont permis de déterminer les implications des risques climatiques sur le rendement agricole dans Le bassin versant de l’Okpara à l’exutoire de Kaboua.Il ressort de cette étude que les risques climatiques, ces soixantes dernières années dans Le bassin versant de l’Okpara, se manifestent par des séries de séquences sèches et séquences humide. L’absence de pluie supérieure à 50 mm et la diminution des fréquences de pluie comprise entre 0,1 et 10 mm lors de la grande saison des pluies occasionnent des années sèches. Cette variation des paramètres climatiques a des conséquences néfastes sur la production agricoles et par conséquent sur la sécurité alimentaire dans le bassin versant de l’Okpara à l’exutoire de Kaboua
Correlation Between The Initiated Tear Of A Fabric And Its Constituent Yarns
This article represents the relationship between the initiated tearing of a fabric and the yarns’s characteristics with which the fabric is made. There are several characteristics that were considered: the tensile strength of the yarns, the real metric number of the yarn, the elongation of the yarn, the kilometric resistance of the yarns and the hairiness index of the yarns. To better understanding this correlation, tests and experiments were carried out on the yarns and then during the making of the fabrics, we measured the initiated tearing of the fabrics. For a better appreciation of the results, a mathematical modeling of this correlation is presented in this work with possible precision errors which are expressed by the relative and absolute errors associated with each equation. The experiments carried out during the work were carried out with multitudes of yarns from different batches and origins
Performance Analysis of Subcarrier Index Modulation OFDM in a DWDM-FSO link
Free Space Optics (FSO) is a wireless optical communication system using light to establish high-capacity links between points without the need for physical cables. However, its susceptibility to atmospheric conditions such as fog, rain, and turbulence presents challenges to signal quality maintenance. To address this, Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), traditionally employed in fiber optics, is leveraged to optimize bandwidth utilization and scalability in high-capacity communications. The integration of DWDM into FSO systems offers redundancy and resilience against signal degradation induced by atmospheric conditions. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time a paper explores the performance of the Subcarrier Index Modulation Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (SIM-OFDM) technique within a DWDM-FSO system. The objective is to reinforce FSO link robustness and improve transmission rates. Through a comparative analysis with conventional OFDM in an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel, the study reveals a notable Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) gain of at least 3dB with enhanced SIM-OFDM (ESIM-OFDM). Simulations, conducted with realistic parameters within the DWDM-FSO architecture, demonstrate that ESIM-OFDM modulation enables a transmission range of 2 km with an aggregated rate of 10.1 Gb/s. These results underscore the potential of SIM-OFDM in enhancing FSO system performance through the integration of DWDM technology. The proposed ESIM-OFDM DWDM-FSO scenario could represent a highly interesting solution for establishing 5G Backhaul links
