Get PDFThis study aims to improve the performance of maintenance management at PT PLN Indonesia Power Unit Bisnis Pembangkitan PLTU Banten 1 Suralaya by implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness to support the reliability and efficiency of power plant operations. The causal descriptive quantitative research method was conducted through a survey of 255 operations and maintenance division employees, using a questionnaire via Google Forms. The results showed a significant and positive effect of implementing these methods on improving operational performance, aligning with the need to increase electricity consumption for households and industry. The Relevance of Prophetic Leadership, Santri Organizational Culture and Basic Leadership Training to the Performance and Organizational Discipline of Al-Umm Aswaja Islamic Boarding School Students
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to analyze the relevance of prophetic leadership, student organizational culture and basic leadership training as well as its influence on the performance and discipline of the management of student organizations at Al-Umm ASWAJA Islamic Boarding School. The research method used was a quantitative research method with 53 respondents through a questionnaire using a google form and analyzed using SPSS number processing software version 27. The results of the research based on SPSS analysis showed that Prophetic Leadership and Organizational Culture had no significant effect on performance. Prophetic Leadership and Basic Leadership Training have a non-significant effect on Discipline, while Basic Leadership Training has a significant effect on performance and organizational culture has a significant effect on discipline. Simultaneously, prophetic leadership, organizational culture and basic training have a significant influence on the performance and discipline of the management of the student organization at the Al-Umm ASWAJA Islamic Boarding School
Implementation of the Lean Six Sigma Method to Improve Product Quality in the Food and Beverage Industry
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze problems in the food and beverage industry and describe an action plan to improve product quality through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma. This approach is expected to provide an effective solution to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and minimize defective products. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis from the companies studied. The main focus is on analyzing the problems faced by the company and designing a plan to overcome the problems with the implementation of Lean Six Sigma. The results of the study show that Lean Six Sigma analyzes the problems faced by the company and designs solutions through the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach. In the Define stage, the company identifies the main problems and sets improvement goals. Measure is used to collect current related data and measure the extent to which the problem has an impact. Analyze focuses on identifying the root cause of the problem using data analysis tools. Once the cause is known, the Improve stage designs and implements a solution to overcome the problem. Finally, Control ensures that the implemented solution remains effective in the long term by monitoring and controlling the process continuously. Through this DMAIC cycle, companies can systematically identify and address problems to improve product quality and process efficiency
Legal Analysis of Qurban Meat Distribution to Non-Muslim Citizens from a Maslahah Perspective
Get PDFThis article aims to explain the legal analysis of the distribution of sacrificial meat to non-Muslims from a maslahah perspective. In this article there are two problems that the author will resolve, namely: first, what is the opinion of the ulama regarding the law of distributing sacrificial meat to non-Muslims. Second, how to analyze the law of distributing sacrificial meat to non-Muslims from a Maslahah perspective. This research uses a qualitative method, which is carried out by collecting, analyzing and comprehensively interpreting narratives on visual data to obtain complete, thorough and holistic insight into the legal analysis of the distribution of sacrificial meat to non-Muslims from a maslahah perspective. The results of this research show that: first, the law on the distribution of sacrificial meat to non-Muslims among the ulama has very different opinions, if seen from the opinion of the majority of ulama, they say that it is permissible (makruh) to give food from sacrificial meat to non-Muslims in general. Furthermore, a minority of ulama are of the opinion that it is not permissible to give anything from sacrificial meat to non-Muslims at all
Urban Poverty (Case Study of East Java from 2018-2022)
Get PDFThis study seeks to assess how average years of schooling, job opportunities, population density, and local revenue affect poverty in nine cities within East Java Province from 2018 to 2022. The research utilizes secondary data and adopts a quantitative approach. A panel data regression method using a Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is employed. Findings indicate that average years of schooling, employment opportunities, and population density all have a significant negative impact on urban poverty. In contrast, Regional Original Income does not significantly affect urban poverty. It is crucial for the government to effectively manage local revenue to ensure equitable distribution among the population, particularly benefiting the poor
The Influence of Transformational Leadership and Role Overload on Public Sector Employee Burnout with the Moderation of Human Resources Management Practices
Get PDFBurnout among public sector employees is an important issue due to the high work demands and pressures in the government environment, which impacts individual well-being and organizational performance. This study examines the effect of transformational leadership (TFL) and role overload on burnout among public sector employees, focusing on the moderating role of human resource management (HRM) practices. Data was collected from 415 employees of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that TFL plays a significant role in reducing burnout by providing vision, motivation, and support to employees. On the other hand, role overload was also identified as an important contributor to increasing employee burnout. In addition, the findings of this study highlight the dark side of excessive HRM that can weaken the positive effects of transformational leadership and have the potential to worsen employee burnout, so a balanced HRM approach that is oriented towards employee well-being is needed. Overall, this study provides insight into the interaction between TFL, role overload, and HRM and offers valuable knowledge for stakeholders related to HRM practices in the public sector
Islamic Financial Inclusion and Economic Growth: Empirical Evidence from Indonesia
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the impact of Islamic financial inclusion on economic growth in Indonesia for the period 2018-2022. The research method uses a quantitative approach by utilizing secondary data per province in Indonesia, which is a combination of time series and cross-section (Panel Data) obtained from the OJK and BPS websites. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis using Eviews 10 software. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously, Islamic financial inclusion has a significant impact on economic growth. Furthermore, partially, it was found that third-party funds and Islamic bank financing contributed positively to economic growth. Meanwhile, Islamic financial access shows a negative impact on economic growth in Indonesia for the period 2018-2022
Scale-Up Strategy of Village-Owned Enterprises in Sigi District: Institutional Transformation Towards Digitalization
Get PDFThis study examines the strategy for improving Village-Owned Enterprises in Sigi Regency. This research aims to develop strategies through institutional transformation towards digitalization. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which aims to explore information by investigating events on the object of research through observation, interviews, and focus group discussions. The results show that out of 153 Village-Owned Enterprises in Sigi Regency, only 17 are productive out of 77 that are still active, so there is a need to increase human resource capacity and develop digital infrastructure through multi-party collaboration. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach has an impact on the development of Village-Owned Enterprises
Exploration of the Impact of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior: The Mediation Role of Organizational Commitment
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the effect of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, considering the mediating role of Organizational Commitment. The research method used is a quantitative approach, with a survey to collect data from employees of PT. ElectriCo. The sample consisted of 249 employees who were randomly selected but representative of each Division at PT. ElectriCo. The research approach in this study uses causal-predictive modeling with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The overall results of the hypothesis testing indicate that the data consistently support the model proposed in this study. The findings of this study indicate that Transformational Leadership has a direct positive effect on Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The findings of this study also indicate that high Transformational Leadership will have a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, which will then increase Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Transformational Leadership also directly increases Organizational Citizenship Behavior
The Effect of Intrinsic Motivation, Career Exposure, and Quality of Life on Entrepreneurial Intentions
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the factors that students consider in choosing a career as an entrepreneur. The three factors that became the focus of observation were intrinsic motivation, career exposure, and quality of life. This study used a quantitative approach. The primary data were obtained through the questionnaire to collect the necessary data. Data collection in this study was carried out at several public and private universities in Mataram City. This study investigates how intrinsic motivation, career exposure, and quality of life influence entrepreneurial intentions. Research findings show that intrinsic motivation has a significant influence on entrepreneurial intentions. Career exposure also positively affects intentions, as it can inspire individuals to pursue entrepreneurial paths. Moreover, quality of life, encompassing well-being, health, and satisfaction, is crucial for fostering entrepreneurial pursuits. These insights can guide policymakers and educators in developing effective entrepreneurship programs and policies
