    Implementation of Sufistic Values in Character Education

    This research aims to describe Amin Al-Kurdi's views on the implementation of Sufistic values in character education. The main source of this library research is the book Tanwirul Qulub by Amin Al-Kurdi. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis methods. The author collects data and interprets the research results. The results of the research stated that habituation and understanding in the life of Sufism has helped in forming a person's character. Building a person's character can be done by making friends with good people, avoiding friends who do bad things, living simply, giving up luxury, leaving behind arguments, hostility and discussing other people's behavior

    Pesantren as oldest Islamic education institution in Indonesia has given huge contributions to national education system, one of actors under his conserve is Pesantren alumni. Pesantren alumni is a student who has done looked for knowledge at Pesantren and back to their hometown. Moreover, Pesantren alumni have their own value among people environment because supposed to becoming a person who have Islamic knowledge capacities deeply. Because of that stereotype, Pesantren alumni must be always keeping Pesantren education value who has known as long as under Pesantren education and that is the background of this research. Purpose of this research is to knowing role of alumni organization as one of solution for keeping Pesantren education values and IKHLASH (Ikatan Keluarga Harmonis Lintas Alumni Sukahideng) Tasikmalaya district as research object. Research conducted by the author uses qualitative method with a research library research approach and supported with interview about variable.     Curriculum management is significant in determining success in the implementation of education. In addition, curriculum management has an important role in efforts to achieve effective and efficient learning objectives. The purpose of this study is to determine the concepts, strategies, supporting and inhibiting factors of curriculum management in developing a culture of student literacy. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The data collection informants are the head of the madrasa, waka for curriculum, literacy program coordinator, and students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Research results: 1) The concept of curriculum management in developing student literacy culture is packaged with reading, writing, and cultural programs. 2) Curriculum management strategies in developing student literacy culture have been well implemented through reading habituation and providing independence training 3) Supporting factors for literacy culture include: The establishment of MAN 5 Jombang as a literacy madrasah, full support from the head of the madrasah, qualified literacy coaches, high student interest, and there are many language teachers. Inhibiting factors include: Lack of available funds, lack of supporting facilities such as space, internet, and computers, and lack of updating books in the library

    This research aims to produce products and test the feasibility of products, such as producing a website-based supervision model development system in improving teacher performance in elementary schools, to facilitate the management of conventional/manual supervision of website-based management information systems and determine the feasibility of website-based learning supervision system models in improving teacher performance in elementary schools. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The research steps include 1) data information, 2) model design, 3) model testing, 4) model revision, 5) development, 6) trial/testing, 7) model revision, 8) finalization and socialization. This research was conducted in a participatory manner. The research output targets at this stage are preparing a website-based learning supervision model design. This website-based principal learning supervision model design has been tested and revised to obtain an effective learning supervision model and develop a website-based learning supervision model. The results of this research are: (1) Learning supervision activities are carried out through the website http://supervisipbelajaran.educmps.com, (2) Principals feel greatly helped by the Website-Based Supervision Model because it is practical, effective, and efficient, (3) Making it easier for teachers to improve performance at school

    Learning Arabic Language Sciences Based on Technology in Traditional Islamic Boarding Schools in Indonesia

    This research aims to analyze traditional Islamic boarding school leaders' perceptions of technology, models of learning Arabic sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools, forms of using technology in learning Arabic language sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools, and foundation support for using technology in learning sciences. -Arabic language knowledge in traditional Islamic boarding schools. The type of research used is qualitative-descriptive. Research data was obtained using observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The instruments used are observation lists, interview lists, and documentation lists. Data were analyzed using ATLAS—ti9 software. The research results show that (1). traditional Islamic boarding school leaders' perception of technology is very positive, and there is no rejection of the presence of technology; (2). The model of learning Arabic language sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools is still preserved, such as using the yellow book with the bandongan, sorogan, and wetonan methods (3). Using technology in learning Arabic language sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools by operating computers, laptops, focus, and cell phones with the help of the internet (4). The foundation supports the use of technology in learning Arabic language sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools by disbursing sufficient funds to procure learning technology tools or by building collaborations with other parties. This research aims to increase the use of learning technology in traditional Islamic boarding schools to create effective and efficient learning but remain resistant to Islamic boarding school values and traditions

    Optimizing Arabic Language Learning: Monitoring and Evaluating the Public Speaking Program at Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School Lebak-Banten

    Purpose, This research describes the monitoring process and evaluation process of the public speaking program at Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School, Lebak-Banten. Design/methodology/approach, This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method and the researchers are the main research instrument in collecting data technique. Data collected is used employing interviews, observation, and documentation. It is analyzed using the Mile and Huberman model. Findings/result: This research indicates that the public speaking program at Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School, Lebak-Banten, is monitored internally. It is monitored by persons within the institution who manage the program, namely the Language Advisory Council (LAC) and the Central Language Improvement (CLI) of Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School. Apart from that, monitoring in the public speaking program also includes preventive and repressive monitoring, active and passive monitoring, the official truth, and the material truth. The evaluation of the public speaking program in this boarding school is an internal evaluation carried out by the employees working in the program between the Language Advisory Council and the Central Language Improvement and an evaluation from the Language Advisory Council for all students. With continuous monitoring and evaluation, the public speaking program can improve students' Arabic language teaching, especially speaking and writing skills.   Originality/value to produce strategies that need to be eliminated or replaced, procedures that need to be improved, and directions that need to be stopped or continued. So that this program continues to get better, more effective, and more efficient in achieving the goals.     Reading Comprehension in the Digital Age: Strategies for STAI Nurul Falah Students

    Purpose - This research seeks to explore the reading comprehension strategies employed by students at STAI Nurul Falah in the context of the digital era. It emphasizes identifying the obstacles they encounter and discovering effective approaches to improve their comprehension abilities. Design/methodology/approach - This research utilized a mixed-methods approach by combining quantitative data from surveys and comprehension assessments with qualitative insights obtained through semi-structured interviews. This comprehensive method enabled a detailed understanding of students' reading habits and the challenges they face with digital texts. Findings/results - The results indicated that while students generally preferred digital reading materials, they often struggled with distractions and found it difficult to grasp complex information. Active reading strategies, such as summarizing and using graphic organizers, proved effective in improving their comprehension. However, many students expressed a need for more structured support to strengthen these skills. Originality/value - This research adds to the limited body of research on reading comprehension strategies within Islamic higher education institutions, providing practical insights into effectively incorporating digital reading into the curriculum to enhance students' academic achievement.     This article presents succession planning that can affect family businesses that are owned and managed by families that have been analyzed and tested regarding family businesses being able to develop and survive to the next generation and identify the main research topics, namely succession planning, and method approaches to understanding succession planning in family businesses. This study uses the SRL (Systematic Literature Review) research type, the results of several studies agree that succession planning must be prepared early. While other studies agree that succession planning is carried out when the prospective generation is mature and has the knowledge to manage and lead a family business, it does not mean that potential successors are not taught about their family business, it's just that their duties are not burdened on potential successors

    This research was conducted because of a shift and decline in audience interest in watching films at the Puri XXI cinema after the emergence of competitors in West Jakarta. These changes are influenced by factors such as lifestyle and price perception. This research aims to examine the relationship between activity, interest, opinion (AIO), price perception, and consumer decisions to watch films at the Puri XXI Cinema, South Jakarta. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using non-probability sampling techniques. Linear regression analysis and significance tests were carried out with the help of SPSS 17.0 software to test the hypothesis. The research results show that partially, the activity variable does not have a significant influence on consumers' viewing decisions. However, the interest and opinion variables, although they do not have a strong influence, still positively influence viewing decisions. Price perception also has the largest positive and significant influence on viewing decisions. Overall, the activity, interest, opinion, and price perception variables together have an influence of 48.1% on consumers' viewing decisions
