The Deconstruction of the Meaning of Qawwām: A Gender Performativity Perspective
The interpretation of QS. An-Nisa' verse 34 has long been one of the most debated topics in gender discourse, particularly regarding the concept of qawwām, which is frequently understood as male leadership over women. This verse has often been cited to justify hierarchical perspectives in gender relations, leading to various interpretations from diverse scholarly viewpoints. This study seeks to deconstruct the meaning of qawwām by analyzing classical and contemporary exegeses through the framework of gender performativity. Using a literature analysis method, the study reveals that classical interpretations typically reflect hierarchical gender norms rooted in the perceived physical superiority and financial responsibility of men, consistent with the socio-historical context of their time. From the perspective of gender performativity, such norms are understood as social constructs perpetuated through repetitive interpretations and religious traditions. In contrast, contemporary exegeses propose more egalitarian interpretations, viewing qawwām as a flexible and dynamic functional responsibility, emphasizing mutuality and gender justice. The study demonstrates that the gender performativity framework can dismantle patriarchal biases in traditional interpretations and offer a new understanding relevant to the challenges of modern society. In conclusion, inclusive interpretations of qawwām provide a vital foundation for fostering equitable and just gender relations. The study underscores the importance of sustaining dialogue between interpretive traditions and contemporary social contexts to ensure that Islamic values remain relevant and responsive to modern challenges
PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, POPULASI, KONSUMSI ENERGI, DAN IPM TERHADAP EMISI GAS KARBON DIOKSIDA (CO2) DI NEGARA ASEAN
This research aims to analyze the impact of economic growth, population, energy consumption, and Human Development Index (HDI) on Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) emissions in 11 ASEAN countries during the period 2013–2021. The research applies a dynamic panel regression method using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) approach. The research results indicate that although Economic Growth (GDP) has a positive yet insignificant impact in the short term, it shows a weak and positive impact in the long term, indicating continued reliance on fossil energy that has not been separated completely from economic growth. Population (POP) has a positive and significant impact on CO₂ emissions, both in the short and long term, indicating that increasing population leads to higher energy demand and greater economic activity. Energy Consumption (ERG) has an insignificant impact, due to the diversity of energy sources, including renewable energy, or measurement inefficiencies. The Human Development Index (HDI) has a negative and significant impact, especially in the long term, showing that improving human quality through education, health, and the economy can promote sustainable development and reduce CO₂ emissions. The policy implications of this research include controlling the impact of population through sustainable urban planning, strengthening environmentally based Human Development, decarbonizing economic growth, and implementing long-term strategies such as regional collaboration for a clean energy transition. These findings contribute theoretically to the advancement of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) model.

The Effect of Cash Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Total Asset Turnover on Profit Growth with Firm Size as a Moderating Variable in Financial Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2022–2024)
This study aims to analyze the effect of Cash Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Profit Growth, with Firm Size as a moderating variable in financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2022–2024. The research employs a quantitative associative method using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that, simultaneously, CR, DER, and TATO have a significant effect on profit growth. Partially, DER and TATO show a positive effect, while CR has a negative effect. After being moderated by firm size, the correlation coefficient (R) increased to 0.994 with an R² value of 0.989, indicating that firm size strengthens the relationship between financial ratios and profit growth. These findings suggest that maintaining a balanced level of liquidity, an optimal capital structure, and efficient asset utilization is essential for improving profitability. Future research is recommended to include additional variables such as Return on Assets (ROA), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), or dividend policy to provide a broader understanding of the determinants of profit growth
Bridging the Attitude-Behavior Gap in Green Consumption: A Systematic Literature Review and Integrative Framework
The persistent attitude-behavior gap represents one of the most significant challenges in sustainable consumption research. Despite growing environmental consciousness, consumers frequently fail to translate their pro-environmental attitudes into actual green purchase behavior. This systematic literature review synthesizes existing research on the mechanisms that bridge or widen this gap, with particular focus on the dual psychological pathways of value perception and trust formation. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this study systematically reviews empirical articles published between 2016-2025 from Scopus and Web of Science databases. The Theory-Context-Characteristics-Methodology (TCCM) framework is employed to organize and synthesize findings, identify research gaps, and propose future research directions. The review reveals that the Theory of Planned Behavior and Value-Belief-Norm Theory dominate the theoretical landscape, while Signaling Theory remains underutilized. Green perceived value and green trust emerge as critical mediating mechanisms, with the value-based pathway demonstrating stronger effects in emerging market contexts. Environmental concern functions as a significant boundary condition that strengthens the translation of psychological antecedents into actual behavior. This study contributes by integrating fragmented findings through comprehensive TCCM analysis, proposing an integrative dual-pathway framework, and providing a structured research agenda. The review advances theoretical understanding of how environmental signals are processed through cognitive and affective mechanisms to influence consumer behavior
