No full textNational audienceFrom 2016 to 2025, Marc Talon served as Chair of the Territorial Commission for Archaeological Research (CTRA) of the East, a key scientific body responsible for evaluating archaeological research in Bourgogne–Franche-Comté and the Grand Est regions. Under his leadership, the Commission reviewed over 2,600 cases in 56 sessions, ensuring the continuity of public service even during the pandemic. Marc played a decisive role in modernising the Commission’s operations, introducing videoconferencing and collaborative tools while upholding scientific rigour and fairness in the assessment process. His sense of dialogue, diplomacy, and constant attention to the quality of deliberations strengthened the CTRA’s standing as a reference body in the field. Over the nine years of service, he successfully combined scientific excellence, collegial governance, and humanity, leaving his successors with a robust and exemplary framework for collective work.De 2016 à 2025, Marc Talon a exercé les fonctions de président de la Commission territoriale de la recherche archéologique (CTRA) de l’Est, instance scientifique essentielle à l’évaluation de la recherche archéologique en Bourgogne-Franche-Comté et dans le Grand Est. Sous sa présidence, la CTRA a examiné plus de 2 600 dossiers en 56 séances, assurant la continuité du service public même durant la pandémie. Marc a contribué à moderniser son fonctionnement, introduisant visioconférences et outils collaboratifs, tout en veillant à maintenir la rigueur scientifique et l’équité dans le traitement des dossiers. Son sens du dialogue, sa diplomatie et son attention constante à la qualité des débats ont renforcé le rôle de la CTRA comme instance de référence. En neuf années d’exercice, il a su conjuguer exigence scientifique, collégialité et humanité, laissant à ses successeurs un cadre de travail solide et exemplaire

No full textInternational audienceWith the aim of promoting the development of societal problematization, this article interprets a digital commentary space from the prism of John Dewey's theory of inquiry, based on three postulates: 1) contemporary society is in a state of crisis that reveals the need to integrate the unanticipatable into our ways of thinking, 2) this state of crisis can be favorable to democracy if citizens problematize complex situations, 3) because of its accessibility and rapport to immediacy, digital space can support a societal problematization particularly necessary in the face of unanticipated events. Given these considerations, this contribution emphasizes the issues of developing problematologic thinking among plural citizens. It then examines the epistemological principles of inquiry theory, which operationalizes problematization, and adapts them to an inclusive and prospective approach. Finally, the example of a digital commentary space focusing on news is examined in terms of its potential as a resource for problematizing future troubled situations.Pour favoriser le développement de la problématisation sociétale, cet article interprète un espace de commentaires numériques à partir du prisme de la théorie de l’enquête de John Dewey, en s’appuyant sur trois postulats : 1) La société contemporaine est dans un état de crise qui révèle la nécessité d'intégrer l'inanticipable dans nos modes de pensée, 2) cet état de crise peut être favorable à la démocratie si les citoyens problématisent les situations complexes 3) en raison de son accessibilité et de son rapport à l’immédiateté, l’espace numérique peut soutenir une problématisation sociétale notamment nécessaire face à des événements inanticipés. Étant donné ces considérations, cette contribution souligne les enjeux du développement d’une pensée problématologique chez des citoyens pluriels. Elle examine ensuite les critères épistémologiques de la théorie de l’enquête, qui opérationnalise la problématisation, pour les adapter à une démarche inclusive et prospective. Enfin, l’exemple d’un espace numérique de mise en discussion des actualités est exploré dans ses possibilités de constituer une ressource pour la problématisation des futures situations de trouble

No full textInternational audienceThe gradual definition of the “teaching of religious facts” from the 1980s onwards, in particular with the Joutard (1989) and Debray (2002) reports, has served to legitimize the transmission of knowledge about religions in secularpublic education without, however, leading to the creation of a new school subject, since it constitutes a cross-curricular training objective whose presence is largely dependent on the content of the various school subjects (in particularthose of history, French, music and plastic arts). Towards Sentinel-2-based monthly water occurrence mapping with the Dynamic World data suite
No full textInternational audienceGlobal water occurrence data derived from satellite imagery provide critical insights into surface water dynamics, informing science and management of key issues like climate change, water scarcity, and biodiversity loss. The Landsat-based Global Surface Water (GSW) dataset (Pekel et al., 2016) has notably provided an important archive of the global surface water areas and its changes over time. However, its 30-m resolution limits its applicability for smaller river systems. Since the launch of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 (S2) program, higher-resolution imagery (10 m) at recurrence times of 5 days is available, but has not yet been fully exploited. The only large-scale, temporally explicit layer of water occurrence based on S2 was provided by Yang et al. (2020) for the French Metropolitan region, but is limited by noise from clouds, terrain shadows, and seasonal snow. The recently developed Dynamic World database (Brown et al., 2022) provides a probabilistic, pixel-scale land cover classification of S2 images updated globally in near-real time, potentially enabling computationally efficient, temporally continuous water mapping at high resolution. Here we evaluate DW’s water detection capabilities and propose a workflow for large-scale, monthly surface water occurrence mapping. Our approach integrates probabilistic and physical-based water classification, topographic filtering, and cloud masking to overcome limitations of GSW and existing Sentinel-2 applications. DW’s water probabilities were compared to spectral indices (NDWI, MNDWI) and combinations of these metrics were explored. We also assessed the potential for topographic data (FABDEM) and pixel-quality measures (CloudScore+) to reduce misclassification and allow the inclusion of more observations. The analysis is applied to the French Rhône-Mediterranean basin, a region chosen due to its diverse hydrological, climatic and geomorphological conditions. Verification is performed using a recently developed high-resolution annual land use product for mainland France (Manière, 2023) and results are compared to the GSW layer.Preliminary results demonstrate that DW natively detects water in most areas well, but noise from shadow remains a challenge. Through combination with NDWI and further filtering with topographical data, significant classification improvements can be achieved. In addition, the pixel-based cloud-filtering with CloudScore+ enables the inclusion of more observations compared to previous methods. We implemented this approach on Google Earth Engine with a simple and efficient algorithm providing monthly water occurrence observations for a whole year. This scalable workflow holds the potential to address significant limitations of prior methods and facilitate large-scale surface water mapping at high resolution. No full textUne salle de lecture dans une bibliothèque municipale au XIXe siècle, c’est un espace de partage entre publics, bibliothécaires, et livres dans la majorité des cas ; un espace à tous et pour tous, un espace visuel, un espace (in)sonore, un espace olfactif, un espace du sensible. Chaque protagoniste se l’approprie et y éprouve sa sensibilité, au confort physique (mobilier, température), au confort moral (accueil, respect), en somme, à « l’autre ». Les comportements qui en résultent varient selon chaque type d’utilisateurs et la personnalité de chacun. Malgré une évolution au cours du siècle, malgré sa dimension universelle, avec ses collections encyclopédiques, et sa vocation éducative encouragée par le Ministère, la salle de lecture est aussi un espace fermé, un espace privilégié, qui dénote finalement une situation souvent conflictuelle entre publics et protagonistes et reflète son caractère multifonctionnel
Engagées mais lucides : une analyse contextualisée et genrée de l’émancipation des étudiantes entrepreneuses
No full textOften presented as accessible to anyone willing to seize the opportunity, entrepreneurship is today promoted as an inclusive pathway, particularly for women and, more recently, for students. Yet gender dynamics remain largely underexplored within the field of entrepreneurship education, despite the contributions of feminist scholarship which, for more than forty years, has highlighted the gendered nature of entrepreneurship and its effects.This dissertation by articles adopts a critical and feminist perspective to examine gender dynamics in relation to entrepreneurship education. It is composed of five scholarly contributions: two literature reviews and three empirical studies. The accompanying manuscript provides a transversal analysis of the findings through the lens of two major paradigmatic shifts in entrepreneurship research: contextualization and entrepreneuring as emancipation.This rereading positions women student entrepreneurs within institutional, social, spatial, and temporal contexts that constrain them while simultaneously offering room for maneuver. Although they attempt to navigate these constraints, their strategies are better understood as forms of silent micro-emancipations rather than open contestation: they challenge the system on an individual scale, yet choose not to render these acts visible, not to politicize them, and reject the label of women entrepreneurs. Far from being limited to a future issue of reconciling professional and family responsibilities, gender constraints are already present. Paradoxically, encouraging young people to engage in entrepreneurship in the name of inclusivity also contributes to reproducing dominant norms.In this sense, the dissertation demonstrates that while entrepreneurship education can indeed constitute a space of identity transformation, this transformation remains ambivalent: simultaneously carrying diffuse forms of resistance while reinforcing structures of power. These findings call for a critical reassessment of emancipatory discourses advanced by public policies, support programs, and academic work in entrepreneurship education.Souvent présenté comme accessible à quiconque s’en donne les moyens, l’entrepreneuriat est aujourd’hui promu comme une voie inclusive, notamment à l’égard des femmes et, plus récemment, du public étudiant. Pourtant, les dynamiques de genre demeurent largement sous-explorées dans le champ de l’entrepreneuriat étudiant, en dépit des apports de la littérature féministe qui, depuis plus de quarante ans, met en lumière la dimension genrée de l’entrepreneuriat et ses effets.Cette thèse par articles s’inscrit dans une perspective critique et féministe en examinant les dynamiques de genre liées à l’entrepreneuriat étudiant. Elle se compose de cinq productions scientifiques : deux revues de littérature et trois études empiriques. Le manuscrit qui les accompagne propose une analyse transversale des résultats à l’aune de deux changements paradigmatiques majeurs en recherche en entrepreneuriat : la contextualisation et l’ « entrepreneuring as emancipation ».Cette relecture situe les étudiantes entrepreneuses dans des contextes institutionnels, sociaux, spatiaux et temporels, qui les contraignent tout en ouvrant certaines marges de manœuvre. Si elles cherchent à les contourner, leurs stratégies relèvent davantage de micro-émancipations silencieuses que d’une contestation ouverte : elles remettent en cause le système à l’échelle individuelle, mais choisissent de ne pas rendre ces gestes visibles, de ne pas les politiser et rejettent l’étiquette de femmes entrepreneuses. La contrainte de genre n’apparaît donc pas uniquement comme un problème futur lié à la conciliation vie professionnelle/vie familiale : elle est déjà présente. Paradoxalement, encourager les jeunes à entreprendre au nom de l’inclusivité contribue aussi à reproduire les normes dominantes.En ce sens, ce travail montre que si l’entrepreneuriat étudiant constitue un espace de transformation identitaire, cette transformation demeure ambivalente : porteuse de résistances diffuses mais aussi vectrice de reproduction des structures de pouvoir. Ces résultats invitent ainsi à un réexamen des discours d’émancipation véhiculés par les politiques publiques, les dispositifs d’accompagnement et les travaux académiques en entrepreneuriat étudiant
