Légitimations et subversions de l'Open : pour une analyse de l'openwashing dans la publication scientifique
No full textThis article presents a novel state of the art on the notion of openwashing in scholarly publishing. Tackling phenomena of washing, it deals with various forms of misappropriations of Open Access in scholarly publications. Based on an interdisciplinary literature review on 50 publications and blog entries (2014-2025), we acknowledge a relative “silence” on openwashing about scientific publications, compared to the uses of the term in articles and essays to describe, and often denounce, open data public policies and “open AI”. These publications show layers of discourse and semantic circulation in the 2010s and early 2020s, based on which we acknowledge the relevance and the limits of a conceptual analogy (with other forms of washing and of openwashing) for scientific openwashing in terms of publicness, proprietary practices and relations to professional norms. The discussion proceeds with the discussion of four broad examples of practices of openwashing. The article brings a better understanding of openwashing, both as a critical concept, tied to scientific publications as a cultural industry, and as an object of discourse about scientific deviance and its evolutions. Finally, it allows implementing a definition grounded in the evolving field of Open Access, as well as justifying its uses to understand its diverse mechanisms at work.Ce texte propose un état de l'art inédit sur la notion d'openwashing dans l'espace des publications scientifiques. En s'appuyant sur les phénomènes de washing, il aborde une variété de formes de détournement des principes de l'ouverture scientifique. À partir d'une analyse critique d'une littérature interdisciplinaire, le concept sténographique élaboré est appliqué aux plateformes numériques pour analyser de la déviance à bas bruit et à faible concernement. L'article apporte une meilleure compréhension de la genèse de l'openwashing à la fois comme concept critique et vecteur de discours de dénonciation de la déviance et de ses évolutions. Enfin, il permet de forger une définition ancrée dans le champ de la communication scientifique ouverte, autant que de légitimer son usage pour appréhender les mécanismes complexes de ses transformations
Development of optimized exatecan-based immunoconjugates with potent antitumor efficacy in HER2-positive breast cancer
No full textInternational audienceThe prognosis of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive breast cancer has significantly improved with the advent of anti-HER2 therapies, especially antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). In this field, ADCs, like trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd), using camptothecin analogs, represent a promising strategy. However, T-DXd can induce resistance and serious adverse effects, potentially driven by a nonspecific Fcγ receptor-mediated endocytosis. Here, we report the development of novel HER2-targeting conjugates, using the camptothecin derivative exatecan and a linker optimized to control hydrophobicity. Three formats were evaluated: a high drug-toantibody ratio (DAR) 8 IgG-based ADC (IgG(8)-EXA), and two DAR 4 Fc-free constructs (Mb(4)-EXA and Db(4)-EXA). Thus, IgG(8)-EXA and Mb(4)-EXA displayed potent, specific cytotoxicity against HER2-positive breast cancer cells and strong antitumor activity in vivo. Notably, IgG(8)-EXA exhibited a favorable pharmacokinetic profile, despite its high DAR, supporting the potential of this drug-linker design. Френският храм на Янус: война и мир в големия декор от времето на Луи XIV
No full textInternational audienceРазположен в Римския форум, храмът на Янус е построен, според разказа на Тит Ливий, от легендарния рекс Нума Помпилий (715–673 г. пр.н.е.). Наосът му съдържа двулицева статуя на латинския бог на проходите, като основната му забележителност не e култовото изображение, а вратите, отваряни по време на война и затваряни по време на мир, олицетворяващи по този начин военното състояние на римската държава. Нашият доклад ще разгледа "възраждането" на храма на Янус във френската политическа иконография от епохата на Луи XIV, като систематизира визуалните му прояви около три основни примера. Първият е разработен в Лион от йезуитския брат Клод-Франсоа Менестрие и художника Тома Бланше по време на честването на Пиренейския мир, представен под формата на фойерверки пред публика през 1660 г. под заглавието "Les Réjouissances de la Paix" [Празненствата за мира]. Става дума за ефимерна украса, показваща затварянето на вратите на храма на Янус от Меркурий, министър и лейтенант на Луи XIV, която въвежда мотив, предопределен на значителен успех. През 1678 г. Мартин Дежарден го използва за барелефа "Мирът от Ниймеген", предназначен за пиедестала на конната статуя на Луи XIV в Париж, издигната на "Площада на победите". През 1729 г. Франсоа Льомоан завършва "Салона на Мира" във Версай, първоначално проектиран от Шарл Льобрюн, поставяйки пано над камината, където Луи XV, праправнук на Луи XIV, изпраща отново Меркурий да затвори вратите на храма на Янус.
