Government Bureaucratic Behavior in Optimizing Institutional Investment Licensing Services (Case Study in Garut Regency)
To improve the economic capability of a region, one of them is by investing in the Endogenous Development paradigm, the strategy is to harmonize natural forces with the strength of human resources. However, we still find many problems when we will make this investment, one of the problems is related to licensing which is still very complicated, requires a very long bureaucratic path, and buys complicated. This is what encourages researchers to research the problem of the still difficult licensing path. Researchers conducted this study using qualitative research methods which analyzed data from interviews through informants related to investment. The results obtained in this study show that there is still a high gap between investment interest and investment realization, which is one of the causes is still There are weaknesses in bureaucratic behavior in implementing policies on investment
New Media in Global Politics: the Role of Media in the Image Construction of African Region
New media is one of the rapid development of technology that makes the exchange of information happen more quickly. Communication patterns in this information technology era are convergent. This is due to the current technological capabilities that enable existing information to be disseminated widely and swiftly. The convergence characteristics of this information technology era lead to the transformation of conventional media into new digital forms. The massive amount of information that can be disseminated through the media makes it one of the big power holders to shape an image. The greater the influence in new media, the greater the tendency for the information to be known and understood. The dissemination of information using digital media is practiced by the African Region to construct its own image for the purpose of changing the international public's view of the region. In this study, a qualitative method with a case study approach is implemented. The research findings revealed that the African Region has utilized digital diplomacy, public diplomacy and the concept of multi-track diplomacy to improve its image. However, there is a need for a better coordination from governments in African countries to develop a positive image
The Development Ideas for Travel Applications Featuring Three Tourism Objects in Indonesia
In recent years, digital transformation has changed the way an organization operates. In the tourism industry, such transformation becomes the necessity as technology keeps developing. Travel can be made easier in some ways, one of which is through the development of travel applications. It is crucial to identify the tourists’ needs and the expectations regarding the user-friendly travel applications. There are in fact a number of applications sprung up in the tourism sector, however, only some of them fulfil the criteria. This study is conducted to develop applications that are considered users-friendly and meet both the needs and the expectations of the tourists. It further investigates what tourists need and expect concerning the related applications. The novelty of this research lies in identifying the expectations and needs of travel apps among millennial by raising case studies in three tourist destinations, namely Borobudur and Dieng, both are in Central Java, and Bayan Village in Lombok. This is a research with a qualitative method. The primary data were obtained through focus group discussions (FGD) and online interviews, whereas the secondary data were generated through literature study. The results indicated that the tourists’ expectations and needs for travel applications are categorized into two groups, the first is the technical aspect and the second is the application content. It was found that tourists require applications with attractive look, supported by clear and updated information. In addition, the applications should be easy to use, help build the enthusiasm to visit, make travel more convenient
The Impact of Resource Exploration and Capital Expenditures on the Realization of Local Government Budgets in Indonesia
This study aims to determine how factors, namely the period of government, gender, government size, and capital expenditure, can affect the realization of the 2018–2021 government budget. This study used a saturated sample consisting of the entire population, namely all provinces in Indonesia for the 2018–2021 period, with a total of 34 provinces, so a sample of 136 was obtained. In this study, the data analysis methods used were descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression analysis, namely the standard effect model, fixed effect model, and random effect model, and hypothesis testing, namely the coefficient of determination test (R2), simultaneous test (F), and partial test (t). The data used are statements of financial position and budget realization reports obtained from the official BPK website, namely https://www.bpk.go.id/ihps. The data were analyzed using STATA v.16 software. Based on the test results, the research results obtained were that the variables of government period and gender did not affect the realization of provincial and local government budgets in Indonesia. Meanwhile, government size and capital expenditure variables affect the realization of provincial government budgets in Indonesia
Ideal Formulation of Human Rights Regulation in Indonesia
There have been several human rights cases in several regions in Indonesia in recent years and the ripples of conflict that have accompanied them show that there are differences in interpretation of the principles and implementation of human rights among the community. In this case, it is necessary to formulate regulations on human rights that are good and universally applicable to all groups. This research aims to offer an ideal formulation of human rights regulation in Indonesia. This research uses descriptive qualitative method or also known as literature study. This research reveals findings as one of the problem solving in human rights issues. There are three things that must be promoted as a form of struggle in maintaining human rights in Indonesia, namely strengthening the values of Pancasila as a source of human rights values, the need for a common perception of the conception of the implementation of ideal human rights in Indonesia, and the idea of a human rights education movement among the community on an ongoing basis
Analysis of Crude Oil Price Determinants on Indonesia's Export Volume for the Period 1992 -2022
This study was motivated by curiosity about the impact of world oil prices on the economy in Indonesia. The study was conducted in Indonesia and used secondary data from relevant agencies. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression with time series data from 1992 to 2022. The results show simultaneous production variables, worldwide oil prices, growth, and exchange rates. have the same effect on export volumes. However, part of the production variable has a positive and significant impact, the world oil price variable has a positive but insignificant effect, the economic growth variable has a positive and significant impact, the exchange rate variable has a negative impact and insignificant to the volume of Indonesia's crude oil exports
The Effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), COVID-19 on Firm Performance with Firm Life Cycle as a Moderating Variable
This research endeavors to present tangible evidence on the impact of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors as well as the COVID-19 pandemic on corporate performance, while also considering the moderating influence of the firm life cycle. The conceptual framework applied is the Legitimacy theory, which is utilized to examine the connection between ESG performance, COVID-19, and firm performance. The evaluation of firm performance involves Tobin's Q for assessing firm value and Return on Assets (ROA) for financial performance. Four hypotheses are formulated and subjected to testing. The study utilizes purposive sampling, encompassing all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) between 2017 and 2022, resulting in 235 data observations. The analysis of hypotheses is conducted through the SPSS Statistics 26 application. The findings demonstrate a noteworthy correlation between ESG performance and COVID-19 with financial performance, and the firm life cycle moderates this relationship. However, ESG performance and COVID-19 do not significantly affect market performance or firm value. Additionally, the firm life cycle does not moderate the relationship between ESG and firm value. The implications of the study suggest that ESG factors play a legitimizing role, contributing to an overall improvement in firm performance
Communication Patterns of the Head of Religious Affairs Office (KUA) in Reducing the Divorce Rate
This study aims to determine the pattern of communication carried out by the Bangko District Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in reducing the divorce rate in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The research method employed is qualitative, with a case study approach. The results of this study show that the pattern of communication carried out by the Bangko District Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in reducing the divorce rate in Bangko District uses the Lasweell model communication pattern and the stimulus-response (S-R) communication pattern. Where the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Bangko Subdistrict is carrying out its activities, it always conducts communication analysis, which includes elements of effective communication and which, in the end, shows whether the response obtained from the stimulus results goes according to purpose or not. Based on the researcher's analysis, it was concluded that the pattern of communication that was carried out had not had a significant impact, meaning that it still increased the divorce rate in Bangko District. However, the pattern of communication that is carried out makes a good contribution to the husband and wife who are going to divorce in the form of consideration in making the decision to divorce
Effective Village Fund Utilization Model In Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara
Through a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, this study discusses an effective village fund utilization model in Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The results showed that the use of village funds from 2015-2018 based on priorities for benefit, community participation, sustainability, certainty of supervision, village resources, and typology in six villages in East Nusa Tenggara with certain categories could be said to be ineffective, seen from the village fund realization document which shows that the majority of village funds are used for the field of infrastructure development compared to the field of community empowerment.

The Influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation and Information Technology on the Performance of MSMEs
MSMEs play an important role in the economic development of a country. Efforts are needed to improve the performance of MSMEs to ensure their continuity and continuity. Banjarmasin as the capital of South Kalimantan Province has experienced significant progress in developing MSMEs. However, many new businesses struggle to survive for various reasons. This indicates that the performance of MSMEs in Banjarmasin has not achieved satisfactory growth. This research aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and information technology on the performance of MSMEs in Banjarmasin. The research population consisted of MSME entrepreneurs registered with the Banjarmasin Cooperatives and Industry Service. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The analytical method used is Multiple Linear Regression, Goodness of Fit Model testing, coefficient of determination (R-squared), and F test. The results of the research show that Entrepreneurial Orientation has a significant influence on the performance of MSMEs in Banjarmasin, with a significance value (Sig) of 0.021. Information Technology also has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in Banjarmasin, with a Sig value of 0.006. The F value is 8.355 with a significance of 0.001, it is concluded that Entrepreneurial Orientation (X1) and Information Technology (X2) have a significant influence on the performance of MSMEs. The combined influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation and Information Technology as shown by an R-Square value of 0.188 or 18.8% indicates the existence of interdependence
