Pelatihan Penggunaan Canva dan Google Drive Bagi Masyarakat Desa Wijirejo Kecamatan Pandak Kabupaten Bantul
Get PDFSpecifically for the Gesikan IV area, Wijrirejo Village, there are also mosque youth. One of the programs is to develop and enhance and create the competitiveness of members so as to create superior youth accompanied by the use of technology to improve the quality of publications and documentation in supporting daily life. The problem that occurs is that not all members have the ability to use graphic design applications to make posters. Mosque youth experience difficulties in teaching graphic design applications as is currently the case, this is because youth organizations do not yet have graphic design skills. Likewise, the use of other applications in cloud-based storage, namely Google Drive. By looking at these problems, in this service there will be training on the use of graphic design applications for making posters using Canva and cloud-based storage applications using Google Drive in the Wijirejo Village area, especially Padukuhan Gesikan IV, Pandak District, Bantul Regency. The method used in this service is pre-implementation, training, mentoring and evaluation. Two students were directly involved in this PPM, namely Zulhaji Guswantoro and Lisdianto Dwi K, undergraduate students of the Informatics Study Program. Pre-implementation includes making Canva and Google Drive modules and communicating with partners regarding what needs are needed in poster making and Google Drive training. The training is hands-on practice carried out to increase youth skills in operating the Canva application for making posters and Google Drive for cloud-based storage applications. The implementation method is Offline. This training was held for 2 days starting February 28 and March 1 2023 from 15.00 to 17.00 and took place at the Baitul Ummah Mosque, Wijirejo Village. Assistance is carried out to assist youth in making posters using Canva and using cloud-based storage applications using Google Drive. Evaluation is used to make improvements for the next service. The results of this dedication are posters made using the Canva application and the ability to store data using Google Drive. With this training, 85% of teenagers found it easier to use the Canva and Google Drive applications, and found it helpful to use the application for making posters and storing data in the cloud. Difficulty in irrigating agricultural land is one of the triggering factors for increasing land conversion, then a technology is needed to overcome this problem. The purpose of the implementation of this community service is to make irrigation system support equipment by utilizing renewable energy, namely solar panels. Solar panels are used as an energy source to drive the pump. To find out the effectiveness of the manufacture of solar-powered irrigation pumps, a performance test of the tool is carried out, namely testing of energy gain and water discharge. The solar-powered irrigation pump with a capacity of 800 Wp can operate properly which results in an average energy gain of 940.4 Wh with an average discharge gain of 1.84 liters/second

Get PDFInteractive Biology learning training for rural school teachers aims to improve the quality of teaching by utilizing learning methods that actively involve students, despite the limited resources available. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological design to explore the teacher's experience and perception of the training. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The results showed that this training has a positive impact on improving the knowledge and skills of teachers in implementing interactive Biology learning. Teachers feel more confident in using simple teaching aids and environment-based experiments as a learning medium. However, the main challenge faced is the limited facilities and teaching aids in rural schools. In addition, despite the increase in student activity, teachers also face difficulties in managing the diversity of student interests and abilities. Overall, the training improves the quality of teaching in rural schools and provides practical guidance to address existing challenges. This research suggests that continuous training should be conducted and focus on practical solutions related to limited resource

Get PDFDiabetes mellitus in Indonesia now ranks 5th with the highest number of diabetes mellitus sufferers in the world. At present, the prevalence has increased from 6.2% compared to 2019. Diabetics need to get effective and safe drugs in order to avoid various complications. In addition to using pharmacological therapy, it is also necessary to carry out non-pharmacological therapy. One type of medicinal plant that is known to be effective in reducing sugar is ginger and cinnamon, but there has not been much reported on its processing other than in the form of a decoction or marinade. The purpose of carrying out this PPM activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the people of Mekarjaya Banjaran Village regarding the use of medicinal plants as anti-diabetics, and provide knowledge about making ginger-cinnamon instant powder drinks. The activity method is carried out in 3 stages, namely the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up stages. The results of this PPM activity show that the community has a better understanding of efforts to be healthy in preventing diabetes through the use of ginger-cinnamon medicinal plants, and how to process them through instant powders. The evaluation is carried out based on the results of the initial test and the final test as a method for measuring the achievements of this PPM activity

Get PDFSamboggede Village, Merakurak District, Tuban Regency, East Java, is known as the pioneer of an independent village since 2018 with a Development Village Index (IDM) score in 2021 of 0.9497. In addition to maintaining the independent village category, efforts to improve the community's quality of life continue. Village officials and people involved in village development, such as Bumdes, tourism, and micro-small industries are the key and at the same time the driving force for improving the quality of life of village communities. There are 67 units of small micro industries including 50 units of household industries, including a village-owned enterprise and village tours. There are still 220 poor families out of 1,387 families, but this is more due to the motive of government assistance. Community service in the Political Science Masters Study Program, Wijaya Kusuma University, Surabaya is focused on developing eco-socio-eco-preneur insights, namely the introduction and deepening of modern entrepreneurship based on information and communication technology which includes (eco)-nomic, (socio)-cultural aspects, and (eco)-logy for plus village apparatus. Devotion focuses on developing eco-social-entrepreneurship insights in (1) improving the quality of the environment, socio-culture, and diversifying types of business (2) creating content for social media, which has been used institutionally directed at increasing village entrepreneurship personally-individually. Result of this assistance, people with existing smartphones can easily take advantage of their social media accounts and create attractive promotional content to share, so that the information can be reached as widely as possible. Apart from that, Samboggede Village as a village with business potential for its citizens and a natural tourism destination can continue to improve its status as an independent, progressive village
Socialization of Composting Technology for Culinary Waste Management in Kampung Emas
Get PDFThe Kampung Emas Tourism Area, renowned for its traditional eateries offering authentic Javanese cuisine, has become a favored destination for tourists. However, the surge in tourist numbers has contributed to increased organic waste. Addressing this issue is crucial to prevent environmental problems and negative perceptions of Kampung Emas. The community service initiative aims to introduce rapid composting technology as an innovative solution to enhance understanding and effectiveness in waste management within Kampung Emas. The activity was conducted on August 12, 2023, involving 15 managers from the tourism sector. Emphasizing organic waste management, the initiative introduced the innovative solution of rapid composting technology. Evaluation was carried out through questionnaires distributed before and after the activity. Participants grasped organic waste management concepts yet demonstrated a greater understanding of composting technology. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement post-activity, with an understanding rate of 83% for waste management concepts and 60% for composting technology. In conclusion, the initiative successfully increased knowledge and understanding among Kampung Emas management regarding rapid composting technology, providing a solid foundation for implementing more effective and sustainable culinary waste management practices

One of them is the expansion of the agro-tourism business from Bolu hamlet, Seyegan sub-district, Yogyakarta, which will empower the younger generation, especially youth organizations, as managerial actors in tourism villages. Improving financial management skills for the community, especially in agro-tourism villages, is one of the solutions to existing problems. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that the community, especially youth organizations, will understand the concept and meaning of a cash book, namely a financial journal that contains notes on cash receipts and payments, and understand the benefits of a cash book, namely being able to know the financial condition of a business based on detailed and consistent recording. , as well as a reference to see which part of the business can be the biggest sales driver or discover what causes the biggest expenses. The result of this community service activity is to add insight to the community, especially youth organizations about the bookkeeping system, recording daily transactions so that the business being carried out can provide the expected benefits

The use of media in its implementation, of course, has the aim of helping the learning process run more optimally and structured. The media determines the success or failure of the learning process. ESP learning at Al Mujtama Pamekasan Islamic High School, needs to be developed using Website-based learning media. The implementation of this service applied the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method and model. This activity lasted for three days, namely on 4, 5 and 6 April 2022 which was carried out offline with theoretical and practical concepts to all lecturers at STAI Al Mujtama.Pamekasan. There were some activities done covering the introduction, delivery of service stages, and socialization of the use of Webs-based ESP learning media. The results obtained from this service, namely lecturers are able to convey subject matter well, lecturers are easier to convey material to students, improve the quality of learning outcomes, learning is more directed, learning is more concrete and feels better understood. Internal audits are conducted twice per semester by stakeholders affiliated with the Quality Assurance Institution (LPM). This is done as a way to control the performance of teachers at Madrasah Al Mujtama Pamekasan. It is hoped that the next service will be developed in the development of very relevant materials and outputs in the form of the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) book according to the knowledge at STAI Al Mujtama Pamekasan
