Socializing the Impact: An Analysis of the Theory of Planned Behavior's Influence on Increasing University Students' Cybersecurity Awareness
Get PDFThe study aimed to assess cybersecurity awareness among university students in Vadodara, India, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. The study involved 242 students from selected universities, selected using a snowball sampling method. Data was collected through Google Forms and email, and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) programme was used for statistical analysis. The majority of students were young (18-23 years old), with moderate internet usage and primary digital competency skills. Only 17% reported experiencing issues during cyber surfing. The study found that most students had low awareness, lower knowledge, and negative perceptions about cybersecurity. Most students followed unsafe cybersecurity practices and had a negative attitude towards cybersecurity. The study also examined the correlation between TPB constructs

The Clean and Healthy Living Behaviour (CHLB) must be promoted in school health programs related to personal hygiene and environmental sanitation to prevent disease in the school environment. Getting students used to practicing PHBS at school can be used as a foundation for health behaviour. This community service activity was carried out at SD Glagahwero 2 Jember which was attended by all students from class 1 to class 6. Education was carried out through counselling by providing explanations about how PHBS should be applied in daily life both at home, school and other public places. As well as explaining the benefits of implementing CHLB which are applied in everyday life. After counselling on the snakes and ladders educational game, students are trained to be able to answer or make decisions according to the problems/questions given in the game. The increase in knowledge that students receive about CHLB can be seen from the students' ability to answer questions correctly, this will support students' clean and healthy living habits so that they can improve the level of health in society

The operation of the machines used is an absolute requirement for achieving effectiveness and efficiency in the process. One of them is a coffee drying machine obtained by the Sumber Kembang farmer group from previous community service activities. This must be accompanied by operating skills so that in this service activity training will be carried out on the use of coffee drying machines. The methods used were surveys, training and discussions. The result of this service activity is the achievement of increasing the skills of coffee farmers in terms of operating coffee drying machines. Achievement of service activities is carried out by providing feedback to partners in the form of questionnaires. The results of the questionnaire showed that respondents from partner members mostly gave positive responses to service activities in the form of coffee drying machine training

Get PDFMulti-business Cooperative Partners (KSU) Mitra Sejahtera is a cooperative that was established in 2015 and operates their business at the Integrated Islamic Middle School (SMPIT) Jember. Partners have various business units. Some of the problems experienced by Partners, among others: do not have an understanding of cooperative accounting and the cooperative's financial reports have not been prepared so that Partners cannot hold RAT. Based on the problems and priorities of the Partners, the solution offered is assistance in preparing financial reports to increase accountability. This PKM activities take place from January to May 2023 using the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method, which emphasizes the principle of learning by doing. The stages of implementing this PKM activity begin with the preparation stage, collecting financial data, delivering material, assisting the process of preparing financial reports and ending with the evaluation stage. Based on the evaluation results, the cooperative's financial reports have been compiled so that the RAT can be implemented. However, partners' understanding of accounting and the preparation of cooperative financial reports still needs to be improved

In an effort to maintain the quality of life of the elderly, the government of the Republic of Indonesia formed an organization called Posyandu Lansia. Posyandu Lansia is a forum for the elderly that is useful for health services, both promotive and preventive efforts. One of the elderly posyandu in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region which is active in its activities is Posyandu Lansia Wredho Utomo. There are 7 posyandu members. In the community service activities carried out, the program regarding healthy food is chosen as the main program. The healthy food program chosen was a training program for making independent food using processed kwetiau modified with pumpkin or pumpkin. Kwetiau is a food diversification based on processing from rice flour and tapioca flour. To increase the nutritional content, a pumpkin is added. Limited access due to the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in this training being delivered in the form of a video which is then practiced independently by participants in their respective homes. According to the assessment of the participants, all participants stated that the videos they made were considered interesting and effective and most of them said the videos that were delivered made the participants enthusiastic

Get PDFMaternal mortality can occur during pregnancy, childbirth or postpartum. Maternal deaths in Indonesia are caused by 3 late and 4 too. One of the late factors is the delay at the family level in recognizing danger signs in pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. Early detection of risk factors is necessary to reduce maternal and fetal mortality and morbidity. This is where the role of health workers in early detection of danger signs. This study aims to improve the ability of health cadres in early detection and referral of high-risk pregnancy, labor and postpartum cases. The research method used analytic research. Early detection of pregnancy danger signs by families and recognizing risk factors and complications, as well as appropriate treatment by health workers is the best way to reduce MMR and IMR. The targets of this activity were health cadres and pregnant women, 35 respondents were obtained in Kelurahan Baru Ladang Bambu, Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict. The interventions carried out in this activity were counseling, discussion, and simulation. The measuring instrument used pretest and posttest questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test analysis. The results of the activity are an increase in the knowledge of cadres and pregnant women about the detection of danger signs of pregnancy, antenatal services provided can obtain data on the condition of their pregnancy and become information for pregnant women until now is still high

The importance of improving the health status of mothers and babies is that the government provides health workers as trained birth attendants in this case both midwives and doctors. So that if the helper is trained, it can provide quality service in accordance with health service standards and patient needs. Midwifery care service standards are a reference for midwives to carry out their duties, functions and roles in accordance with their competence and authority. This study aims to analyze the quality of midwifery care for pregnant women at the Medan Tuntungan Sub-district Health Center. This community service uses a qualitative approach with an in-depth interview method (Indepth Interview), primary data obtained from interview guidelines to 10 informants of postpartum mothers and triangulated to midwives and persons in charge using interview guidelines and observation sheets. The results of this community service show that the Puskesmas of Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict is very concerned about patient safety, this can be seen from the provision of care that is quite effective and timely, the services provided are patient-centeredness, and always fair to all patients, so it can be concluded that the Puskesmas of Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict has provided quality care in accordance with the dimensions of health service quality

On the other hand, every human activity produces waste (garbage). Excessive waste production can cause problems for the environment. In addition to having an unpleasant smell, flies often infest garbage and can cause disease outbreaks, some of the waste that is abundant in the environment is fruit peel waste. The use of fruit peels in dosage forms is still little done, and product preparations in circulation are still very minimal to be found, even though the use of fruit peels is fairly easy to find, economical and practical. Based on the above conditions, it is necessary to have activities to increase the interest in entrepreneurship for SMK students in harmony with sustainable waste management. One of the alternative activities is Entrepreneurship Training by making organic soap from fruit peel waste. The methods used are identifying partner needs, designing activities, mentoring, implementing, and evaluating sustainability. Sosialisasi Penggunaan Aplikasi Pemantauan Kasus Stunting di Desa Kemuning Lor Kabupaten Jember
Get PDFIn 2016, around 22.9% or 154.8 million children worldwide suffered from stunting at the age of under 5 years. Stunting is defined as the length or height below the standard. Stunting is measured by a z-score of height and age of more than 2 standard deviations which is below the World Health Organization (WHO) Child Growth Standards. Based on the results of observations on November 25, 2022 in Kemuning Lor Village, the community service team found that cadres and mothers could be said to be of productive age with an average of already having smartphones which were underutilized in monitoring the nutritional status of toddlers. In community service activities, an application was developed that is useful in reducing and monitoring the number of stunting cases in Kemuning Lor Village, Jember Regency. The implementation methods carried out in this community service activity are literature (literary study), location surveys, application design and outreach. As for the results of this community service activity, 90% of posyandu cadres feel helped by the baby nutrition monitoring application. In the future this application will be integrated from each region so that stunting cases in Jember Regency can be monitored through one application
