    KBRI Malaysia menampung sebanyak kurang lebih 200 Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) yang bermasalah dengan pelanggaran hukum, kekerasan fisik dari majikan, pembayaran gaji yang tidak sesuai, shock culture, dan berbagai permasalahan lainnya sehingga para PMI harus memutus hubungan kerja dan ditampung sementara di KBRI Malaysia. Para PMI yang sedang dalam proses pemulangan ke Indonesia perlu dibekali ketrampilan dan wawasan yang luas agar menjadi masyarakat mandiri ketika kembali ke kampung halaman di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu kegiatan PKM ini bekerjasama dengan Atase Pendidikan Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia (KBRI) Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, dan Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Universitas Pendidikan Sultan Idris (PPI UPSI) Malaysia. Sebanyak 328 akademisi dari 114 Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia dan 1 Perguruan Tinggi di Malaysia, ikut berkolaborasi dalam kegiatan PKM Internasional ini. Peserta (PKM) Internasional terdiri dari dosen, mahasiswa dan tenaga kependidikan berupaya untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan persiapan kemandirian para Pekerja Migran Indonesia. Kegiatan PKM diisi dengan berbagai pelatihan keterampilan yang dilaksanakan secara daring dan luring sejak September-Desember 2023. Hasil dari PKM ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh para PMI sebagai bekal persiapan kemandirian ketika kembali ke kampung halaman baik di bidang ekonomi kreatif, kepedulian kesehatan mental, serta modal untuk membuka lapangan kerja

    Undernutrition is responsible for nearly 50% child deaths, especially in poor countries. Approximately 25% of toddlers worldwide experience stunted which is associated with mortality, cognitive impairment and reduced productivity. The mission of the Kementrian Kesehatan is to improve the level of public health through community empowerment (Posyandu). especially in Surabaya with the empowerment of Kader Surabaya Hebat (KSH). Wonokromo District, with an area of ​​8.42 Km2 and occupying 2.55% of the area of ​​Surabaya city, has 3 access to primary health facilities, covering 6 sub-districts (Kelurahan). The ratio of community health centers per Wonokromo sub-district is 1.9, this shows that the coverage of primary health access in Wonokromo is quite good. KSH knowledge needs to be improved through education, short courses and monitoring. The aim of this Pengabdian  activity is to increase knowledge regarding monitoring the toddlers development, especially in handling stunting toddlers. This activity was able to increase the knowledge of KSH as shown by an increase in the highest score of 100, from 10% to 54.2%. Increasing KSH knowledge is a first step so that it can be applied to the community, namely toddlers in the Wonokromo health center area, so that monitoring of stunting toddlers can run and can prevent or even reduce the stunting rate in Wonokromo

    The increasing demand for energy and the depletion of oil reserves are forcing humans to seek alternative energy sources. Therefore, the need for alternative electrical energy sources arises, namely, by utilizing solar panels. The importance of understanding how solar panels work and their maintenance becomes a determining factor in ensuring the optimal performance of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems. Lack of knowledge and awareness about maintenance can result in decreased efficiency and lifespan of solar panels. Users of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems are also expected to understand its maintenance procedures. Thus, the implementation of this community service activity aims to educate the public and enable them to maintain Solar Cells as Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems. This activity is carried out by providing direct training on PV system maintenance, both theoretically and practically. The impact of this community service activity is that the community can understand and maintain Solar Cells as Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems, as evidenced by the evaluation results where the understanding of the training participants falls into the category of very knowledgeable, which is 80.88%

    Increasing teacher competence in learning informatics based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Computational Thinking in the Merdeka Curriculum is an important aspect in facing educational challenges in the digital era. The importance of increasing teacher competence in HOTS and Computational Thinking-based informatics learning lies in the ability to equip students with critical and analytical skills needed in the digital era. In addition, competent teachers can create an innovative learning environment, so that students are better able to face complex challenges in the future and are ready to contribute optimally in society. Therefore, the objectives of this service activity are 1) conducting training for STEM teachers (Informatics, Science, Mathematics subjects) in implementing Informatics learning. (2) Training in compiling HOTS and Computational Thinking based learning assessments, (3) Training in laboratory management.. This activity was attended by 20 teachers, laboratory managers at MTsN 1 Mataram. The results of this activity are proven: (1) STEM teacher competency training in Informatics learning, the average pre-test is 39% and post-test is 96% there is an increase of 58%. (2) HOTS and Computational Thinking assessment preparation training, the average pre-test is 60% and post-test is 94% there is an increase of 34%. (3) Laboratory management training, the average pre-test is 48% and post-test is 89% there is an increase of 41%. Thus, this activity has succeeded in improving teacher skills in utilizing information technology and applying it to the preparation of assessments in learning while improving the overall management capabilities of laboratory management

    Administration is a source that can be used to obtain data or information. The Jember State Polytechnic Tax Center should carry out administration well in order to provide the best service. One of the administrations that must be carried out by the Polije Tax Center is to administer customer data that is present at the Tax Center. Providing services to customers can take the form of consultations on filling out Annual Tax Returns (SPT) and tax consultations. Information on the number of customers can be an indicator of tax compliance, especially for Jember State Polytechnic employees. Apart from that, this activity also provided a book for recording incoming and outgoing letters so that they could archive letters at the Tax Center. The method used is surveys, discussions and also training for tax volunteers. The result of this service activity is that tax volunteers achieve understanding regarding the importance of administrative governance and administrative management. The achievement of service activities is demonstrated by the results of feedback from tax volunteers at the Tax Center. The feedback results show that 81% respondent stated that this service activity is very beneficial for partner

    Silvofishery is an environmentally friendly fish farming concept that is starting to be developed in coastal areas. The aim of this service activity is to determine the level of understanding of coastal area communities regarding the application of the silvofishery cultivation model. The method used in this service is community education through an empowerment program which is carried out based on the level of active participation of participants. The results of the service reflection show that the level of knowledge of cultivators increased by 83% after the implementation of the cultivation class, as well as the knowledge of cultivators about the advantages and advantages of silvofishery also increased respectively by 58.33% and 50% after the implementation of the silvofishery cultivation class. Another impact of implementing this silvofishery cultivation class is that the farmers understand better the techniques for managing water quality in ponds. Farmers' knowledge of water quality management techniques in pond ecosystems increased by 58.33% from the original 0.00%. This means that the silvofishery cultivation class program is very effective and beneficial for fish farmers. Apart from that, the implementation of this cultivation class is quite educational and practical for disseminating the results of aquaculture engineering innovations. The conclusion from this service activity is that fish farmers on the Degayu coast, Pekalongan City tend to be very unfamiliar and do not understand the silvofishery cultivation model. From the implementation of this cultivation class, it turns out that it can have a significant influence on increasing the knowledge of the cultivating community about the silvofishery cultivation model from 15.25% to 89.33% by combining the concept of simplicity

    Malnutrition is known to be a health problem that has not been completely addressed, so serious intervention and treatment is needed because it is irreversible or cannot be returned (Lang, 2023). Based on data from the 2022 Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), Bondowoso Regency is one of the districts that has a fairly high prevalence of children under five with malnutrition, namely 7.7%. This activity aims to prevent and treat malnutrition among toddlers in Kajar Village, Bondowoso Regency. This activity was carried out using the lecture method using PowerPoint and demonstration media. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in mothers' knowledge regarding the use of local functional food ingredients. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, the average value of the pretest and posttest increased knowledge from 67.50 to 80.50. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, it shows that there was a significant increase in this activity by 13% from 66.5% (pretest) to 79.5% (posttest). It can be concluded that the intervention carried out using lecture and demonstration methods was effective in increasing the knowledge of mothers of toddlers

    Perinatal anxiety affects about 17% of women; While up to 84% of women experience perinatal stress. Other scientific studies have shown that anxiety during pregnancy is linked to an increased risk of pregnancy complications, such as premature birth, low birth weight, as well as mental health problems in children, such as anxiety and depression. Empowering health cadres in the community can be an effective strategy to reduce the anxiety level of pregnant women. The purpose of dedication is to provide support to partners in efforts to reduce anxiety for pregnant women by empowering NA cadres who are responsive to women's health. The methods carried out are Forum Discussion Group (FGD), Education, empowerment practices, monitoring and evaluation, and follow-up plans. The dedication carried out was able to increase the knowledge of NA cadres including psychological adaptation, anxiety of pregnant women and husband support, this was seen from the increase in mean value, showing an increase in cadre knowledge from less to good from the material provided starting from an increase in knowledge of psychological adaptation of good knowledge by 28.6% (From good knowledge 57.1% to 85.7%, anxiety of pregnant women good knowledge increased by 28%,  Husband support was good at 39.3% (From good knowledge 46.4% to 85.7%). The expected follow-up is to increase responsive cadres in women's health, especially pregnant women and provide social support to reduce the health of pregnant women

    Thematic Real Work Lectures (KKN) are community service programs for students at universities in Indonesia. The Tanjungpura University Thematic KKN which was carried out in the Kupah village area, Kubu Raya Regency is a form of synergy between UNTAN students from various study programs and village communities in solving problems faced by the village related to developing the Kupah village area as an environmental tourism destination (Ecotourism). The socialization activity was attended by 20 representatives of the Kupah village community. The activity was carried out using an educational lecture method to socialize tourism management in Kupah village involving all levels of society. The evaluation results showed that as many as 60 percent of the socialization participants already knew about tourism and had carried out tourism marketing

    Currently, there is an increase in bullying cases in secondary school environments such as junior high and high school, which can lead to negative impacts such as physical and mental disturbances for the victims. Bullying is an act of intimidation carried out by the stronger party against the weaker party, manifested in various forms of intimidating behavior. The purpose of the Community Service Program (PKM) at KKN is to provide education and socialization about the dangers of bullying, using technology such as videos depicting the negative impacts of bullying. In its implementation, PKM KKN uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which is a participatory method among citizens or communication through sharing approaches (the story-sharing method), in-depth interviews, and focused group discussions (FGD). The selection of this method is based on the understanding that socialization about bullying prevention involves identifying problems and implementing solutions directly related to action. The results of this counseling activity show: 1) Students can identify types of bullying, including: a) cyberbullying, b) verbal bullying, and c) physical bullying; 2) introduce anti-bullying campaigns to students; 3) create an environment that supports the development of students' personalities and social skills; and 3) encourage open communication between schools, teachers, and parents regarding the development of students' personalities and social skills
