Sosialisasi Transformasi Kantin Sekolah Sehat di SD ‘Aisyiyah 1 Mataram
Children's health is the most important aspect in building a strong and high-quality young generation. Good nutrition and healthy eating habits play a central role in the growth and development of children. This community service activity aims to promote the transformation of healthy school canteens at SD 'Aisyiyah 1 Mataram and to introduce the concept of healthy canteens to all parties involved in the education and development of children, including students, teachers, school staff, and parents. The activity begins with identifying needs through an initial survey highlighting the condition of the school canteen and students' eating habits. This includes providing education on the importance of healthy and nutritious food by bringing in nutrition experts for students, teachers, canteen staff, and parents/guardians to enhance understanding of healthy food, balanced diets, and their impact on health. Program evaluation is conducted by measuring changes in knowledge and attitudes through questionnaires distributed before and after the activity. Direct observation is also carried out to see real changes in canteen operations and students' eating habits. The evaluation results show a significant increase in awareness and knowledge about healthy food among students, teachers, and canteen managers. There has been a positive change in the provision of healthy menus in the school canteen. It is hoped that this can become a model for other schools in creating a healthy learning environment that supports the optimal development of children
Pelatihan Pengolahan Limbah Kayu Mahoni (Swietenia Mahagoni) Pada BUMDes Banjarwaru
Banjarwaru village is one of the villages in Cilacap district with the potential for wooden broom handle craft commodities. The processing of mahogany wood (Swietenia mahagoni) into broom handles produces wood waste that has not been utilized optimally. The accumulation of wood waste is caused by a lack of knowledge among the Banjarwaru village woodworking community regarding the potential dangers, benefits, and economic value of wood waste. Therefore, training in wood waste processing into value-added products such as particleboard is needed. The Community service team together with BUMDes Banjarwaru carried out mentoring activities as a solution method for utilizing wood waste. The mentoring activities carried out consist of educating the negative effects of wood waste on the environment, educating the potential and benefits of wood waste in another processed forms, and training in wood waste processing into particleboard. These series of activities succeeded in increasing the woodworking community understanding of wood waste by 81.6%. The success rate of mentoring reached 91,67% shown by 11 out of 12 mentoring participants understood the potential danger, benefits, and other processed forms of wood waste
Pengetahuan dan Pendapat Mahasiswa Poltekkes Surabaya Tentang Kelainan Genetik dan Skrining Pra-Nikah
To ensure couples planning to get married understand the genetic risks related with their future offspring, they need to acquire information about genetic disorders and pre-marital genetic counselling that can be followed by genetic screening. Genetic disorders can be inherited from normal parents who are carriers of abnormal genes, such as thalassemia and Haemophilia. Genetic disorder also encompass chromosomal abnormalities, either the number or structure chromosome. Unlike numerical chromosomal abnormalities in offspring, which have an increased risk associated with the mother’s age during pregnancy, structural abnormalities in parents can be passed to their offspring. This community service activity targets seventh-semester students at Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya, who are at an age ready for marriage. The implementation of this activity begins with a pre-test to assess the student ‘s knowledge before the education presentation, followed by presentation with interactive discussion and ended with post-test to determine whether the education was comprehensible to them. Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya students showed a better understanding of genetic disorder indicated with an average score increase of 8.2 points (9.2%) based on post test result . All students agree on the importance of pre-marital screening, with the majority willing to undergo premarital screening and still proceed with the marriage if their partner is a carrier of thalassemia
Pelatihan Aplikasi Mendeley Sebagai Manajemen Referensi bagi Mahasiswa Peserta Magang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat
Compiling a list of references is often an obstacle in completing a scientific work, which then presents applications that can help with this problem. Mendeley software is one of the many applications that is very helpful in compiling a list of citations in a scientific work. It is a very popular application or software with millions of users in academic circles. The large number of students who do not know and understand this application has encouraged Mendeley application training activities for MSIB student participants at the Papua Central Statistics Agency. This activity aims to improve the ability of MSIB participating students in compiling a list of references or references in writing written work. The activity was attended by 28 students from various study programs from various universities throughout Indonesia. This training activity was carried out over 2 days and used lecture, discussion and practice methods. From the results of the activity evaluation through reviewing written work using the Mendeley application, it shows that all participants were able to write written works using the Mendeley application as a reference manager. On the first day the percentage of participants' ability when operating the application was only 36%, then after training on the second day the percentage increased to 100% or all participants were able to understand the use of the Mendeley application due to direct practice in using the application, thereby providing participants with an understanding of both theory, practice and discussions held during the training

Legal education regarding sustainable water area management for teenagers or school-aged children is a strategic effort to form a generation that is environmentally aware and responsible. The aim of community service activities (PKM) for legal education on sustainable management of marine areas is to socialize and educate teenagers about the importance of awareness of the rules governing the sustainable use of marine resources. With a deep understanding of environmental law, children can develop an ethical character and be sensitive to ecological issues, and avoid unlawful behavior. The partners for this activity are students from SMPN 8 Kubu Raya which is located in the coastal area of Sungai Kakap Kubu Raya District. The activity was attended by 30 students, carried out using lecture and scientific discussion methods. Based on the evaluation of activities carried out at the beginning and end of the activity by giving questionnaires to participants, it showed an increase in the percentage of participants in understanding the training material provided
Sosialisasi Strategi Pengembangan Kesiapan Sekolah Siswa TK di Masa Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar
Quality education is one aspect of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that needs to be considered from the early childhood education level. Early childhood school readiness will greatly determine the academic achievement of students at the primary school level. Therefore, to achieve quality education for children, synergy is needed from teachers and parents in encouraging kindergarten B students' school readiness to be optimal in participating in education at the elementary level. This service program was carried out to answer these challenges. This program is a follow-up to research on kindergarten B children's school readiness. Based on the results of the school readiness assessment in the previous research, a socialization was held related to the profile of children's school readiness along with strategies that can be done by teachers and parents in optimizing children's school readiness. This socialization was attended by teachers and parents of TK X in Jember Regency. A total of 44 participants had their satisfaction level measured to ensure that there were benefits gained from this program. In general, the participants of this socialization had high satisfaction (65%), while some others expressed a low level of satisfaction (35%). This socialization is expected to help teachers and parents work together to provide quality education for children according to their children's readiness
Edukasi Penanganan Pernikahan Usia Dini, Stunting dan Pendidikan Melalui Organisasi Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Desa Windurejo, Mojokerto
Early marriage can increase the risk of stunting in children, as physically and mentally unprepared mothers are often unable to provide adequate nutrition over a long period of time. This results in impaired growth in children, resulting in shorter height than their age standard. Therefore, the importance of education for adolescents is crucial to delay early marriage and ensure optimal health and development for future generations. The purpose of this community service activity is to develop women's insights and skills so that they have critical awareness, solidarity, care, skills, and are committed to becoming actors of social change to avoid household problems. The stages of implementing activities in Windurejo Village are organized systematically consisting of planning, implementation, and follow-up reporting. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge about the dangers of early marriage, the risk of stunting, and the importance of education as a solution. The increase in knowledge was measured through pre-test and post-test which showed an average increase in scores of 30%. Indicators of the success of the activity include the participants' increased understanding of the material presented, active involvement in discussions, and their ability to develop an action plan that reflects their commitment to social change
Pendampingan Kelompok UMKM di Garut Dalam Penggunaan Dompet Digital Untuk Mendukung Ekonomi Digital
The community service program aimed to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Garut Regency through the implementation of digital wallet technology. Addressing the challenges of market access and financial management faced by MSMEs, the program developed an application called MitraREID. This application was designed to assist MSMEs in managing transactions, recording expenses, generating financial reports, and optimizing product management. The implementation process included socialization, intensive training, application deployment, and technical assistance involving the UMKM community, Mikromega, in Garut. The results indicated a significant improvement in the MSMEs' ability to utilize digital technology for daily operations. The MitraREID application facilitated business management, enhanced transaction efficiency, and allowed MSMEs to structure their financial management more effectively. The program's impact was quantitatively measured by pre- and post-test scores, which showed an increase from an average of 79/100 before training to 99/100 after training. This significant improvement demonstrated the enhanced digital skills and understanding of participants in utilizing digital wallet technology to support their business operations, enabling them to compete more effectively in local and national markets
Peningkatan Keterampilan dan Perekonomian Masyarakat Desa Mekar Baru Melalui Pelatihan Pengolahan Ikan Nila
The people of Mekar Baru Village, who live along the banks of the Kapuas River, generally earn their living as farmers cultivating tilapia, goldfish and snakehead fish and tilapia. With the community's low level of education, this has an impact on their lack of understanding about the benefits of consuming fish and their lack of skills in processing fish which can increase the economic value or selling price of the cultivated fish commodity. This community service activity (PKM) aims to improve skills in processing floss and nuggets made from valuable fish meat, so that it can help the family's economy. The activity was attended by 20 activity participants consisting of housewives. This activity was divided into 2 activities, namely a scientific lecture about the benefits of fish and its various derivative preparations in improving family health and direct practice in making tilapia fish shreds and nuggets. The results of the evaluation of this PKM activity show an increase in participants' understanding regarding the benefits of consuming fish or its processed products, as well as improving skills in making shredded tilapia fish floss and nuggets
Kegiatan Kunjungan Edukatif Jungle Pod Chocolate dan Secret Garden Village
This study explores the impact of educational visits to Jungle Pod Chocolate and Secret Garden Village on participants' understanding and appreciation of the chocolate industry and sustainability practices. Through a qualitative approach involving participatory observation and in-depth interviews, this research reveals a significant increase in participants' knowledge about the chocolate-making process, from cocoa beans to the final product, and their awareness of sustainability. The visit outcomes indicate a positive change in participants' perception of chocolate, encouraging them to support more responsible and sustainable practices. Thus, this study highlights the importance of direct educational initiatives in raising awareness and inspiring a change in attitude towards more ethical and sustainable chocolate consumption, while recognizing the contribution of various parties that made this educational experience valuable. This research provides important insights for chocolate producers, educators, and other stakeholders about the effectiveness of educational visits as a tool to promote sustainability and ethics in the chocolate industry
