    No full text
Vehicular communications, referring to information exchange among vehicles, and infrastructures. It has attracted a lot of attentions recently due to its great potential to support intelligent transportation, various safety applications, and on-road infotainment. The aim of technologies such as Vehicle-to-Vehicl (V2V) and Vehicle to-Every-thibg (V2X) Vehicle-to very-thing is to include models of connectivity that can be used in various application contexts by vehicles. However, the routing reliability of these ever-changing networks needs to be paid special attention. The link reliability is defined as the probability that a direct communication link between two vehicles will stay continuously available over a specified period. Furthermore, the link reliability value is accurately calculated using the location, direction and velocity information of vehicles along the road

Translation of Brain Activity Patterns of a user into Commands using Electroencephalography (EEG)

    No full text
Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) are systems that can translate the brain activity patterns of a user into messages or commands for an interactive application. The brain activity which is processed by the BCI systems is usually measured using Electroencephalography (EEG). The BCI system uses oscillatory Electroencephalography (EEG) signals, recorded using specific mental activity, as input and provides a control option by its output. A brain-computer interface uses electrophysiological signals to control the remote devices. They consist of electrodes applied to the scalp of an individual or worn in an electrode cap. The computer processes the EEG signals and uses it in order to accomplish tasks such as communication and environmental control

Stock Market Prediction on High-Frequency Data Using ANN

    No full text
A stock market is a place where company shares are traded to the stockbrokers. Stock price prediction is one of the most challenging problems as a high level of accuracy is the key factor in predicting a stock market. Many methods are used to predict the price in the stock market but none of those methods are proved as a consistently acceptable prediction tool due to its volatile nature. In this paper, we proposed Artificial Neural Network (ANN) technique because ANN can generalize and predict data after learning and analyzing from the initial inputs and their relationships. We used feed forward network and backward propagation algorithm to predict stock prices. In this paper, we introduced a method that can find out the future value of stock prices in a particular day based on some input using ANN back propagation algorithm

The vulnerabilities in most web applications enable hackers to gain access to confidential and private information. Structured query injection poses a significant threat to web applications and is one of the most common and widely used information theft mechanisms. Where hackers benefit from errors in the design of systems or existing gaps by not filtering the user\u27s input for some special characters and symbols contained within the structural query sentences or the quality of the information is not checked, whether it is text or numerical, which causes unpredictability of the outcome of its implementation. In this paper, we review PHP techniques and other techniques for protecting SQL from the injection, methods for detecting SQL attacks, types of SQL injection, causes of SQL injection via getting and Post, and prevention technology for SQL vulnerabilities

Whether it\u27s for work or personal well-being, keeping secrets or private information has become part of our everyday existence. Therefore, several researchers acquire an entire focus on secure transmitting secret information. Confidential information is collectively referred to as Steganography for inconspicuous digital media such as video, audio, and images. In disguising information, Steganography plays a significant role. Traditional Steganography faces a further concern of discovery as steganalysis develops. The safety of present steganographic technologies thus has to be improved. In this research, some of the techniques that have been used to hide information inside images have been reviewed. According to the hiding domain, these techniques can be divided into two main parts: The spatial Domain and Transform Domain. In this paper, three methods for each Domain have been chosen to be studied and evaluated. These are; Least Significant Bit (LSB), Pixel Value Difference (PVD), Exploiting Modification Direction (EMD), contourlet transform, Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT), and, Discrete Cosine Transformation (DCT). Finally, the best results that have been obtained in terms of higher PSNR, Capacity, and more robustness and security are discussed

Study on the Simulation Control of Neural Network Algorithm in Thermally Coupled Distillation

    No full text
Thermally coupled distillation is a new energy-saving method, but the traditional thermally coupled distillation simulation calculation process is complicated, and the optimization method based on the traditional simulation process is difficult to obtain a good feasible solution. The neural network algorithm has the advantages of fast learning and can approach nonlinear functions arbitrarily. For the problems in complex process control systems, neural network control does not require cumbersome control structures or precise mathematical models. When training the network, only the input and output samples it needs are given, so that the dynamics of the system can be controlled. In this way, the dynamic performance of the system can be approximated. This method can effectively solve the mathematical model of the thermally coupled distillation process, and quickly obtain the solution of the optimized variables and the objective function. This article summarizes the research progress of artificial neural network and the optimization control of thermally coupled distillation and the application of neural network in thermally coupled distillation

The use of technology has grown dramatically, and computer systems are now interconnected via various communication mediums. The use of distributed systems (DS) in our daily activities has only gotten better with data distributions. This is due to the fact that distributed systems allow nodes to arrange and share their resources across linked systems or devices, allowing humans to be integrated with geographically spread computer capacity. Due to multiple system failures at multiple failure points, distributed systems may result in a lack of service availability. to avoid multiple system failures at multiple failure points by using fault tolerance (FT) techniques in distributed systems to ensure replication, high redundancy, and high availability of distributed services. In this paper shows ease fault tolerance systems, its requirements, and explain about distributed system. Also, discuss distributed system architecture; furthermore, explain used techniques of fault tolerance, in additional that review some recent literature on fault tolerance in distributed systems and finally, discuss and compare the fault tolerance literature

The number of times an article is downloaded is also being considered as a measurement instrument or method of analysis. The Corresponding analysis method has analysis 117 articles from 2016 to 2021. All the articles are based on performance analysis of OSPFV3 AND IPV6.IPv6 has gained legitimacy and inevitability as a result of the internet\u27s expansion, which has resulted in IPv4 address space exhaustion. An internet next-generation protocol that will replace eventually IPv4 is IPv6. Using Riverbed Modeler Academic Edition, 2state link protocols’ performance for IPv6, IS–IS and OSPFv3 was compared and tested for the greatest commonly utilized applications enterprise for example remote login, database query, file transfer, web surfing, and email. The major characteristics used to assess performance include IPv6 packets dropped, network convergence time, link utilization, throughput, remote login response time, file upload/download response times, http page response times, email, and database query response time,. The primary goal of this dissertation is to compare, simulate, and assess both routing protocols’ performance in order to decide which one is best for routing IPv6 network traffic. Based on the parameters utilized, the protocol that performed better than the others would be suggested for routing network traffic in IPv6. The study was separated into two scenarios to achieve this goal: the IS–IS and OSPFv3 scenario. After the simulation for the IS–IS scenario was completed, the data from both scenarios were compared and examined using the provided parameters to see which protocol worked better. Based on the majority of the simulation parameters employed, the simulation results showed that OSPFv3 was performed as compared toIS–IS

Water is a basic human need in all economic operations. Farmland, renewable energy, the industrial industry, and mining are all critical economic areas. Water supplies are under severe strain. With the population increase, the requirement for water from competing economic sectors is increased. So, there is not enough water left to meet human needs and maintain environmental flows that maintain the integrity of our ecosystems. Underground water is becoming depleted in many sectors, making now and future generations near the point of being deprived of protection from the increasing climate variability. Therefore, the critical role that information technology methods and internet communication technologies (ICT) play in water resources managing to limit the excessive waste of fresh water and to control and monitor water pollution. In this paper, we have to review research that uses the internet of things (IoT) as a communication technology that controls the preservation of the available amount of water and not wastes it by homeowners and farmers. In contrast, they use water, and we have also reviewed some researches that preserve water quality and reduce its pollution
