With the progress of science and technology and the continuous improvement of living standards, robots are more and more widely used in life and production, and robot grasping technology is also constantly improving. In practical application, accurate grasp detection of target objects is an important part of robot grasping task. In this paper, the parallel two-fingered gripper is used as the end of the robot arm\u27s grasping, and the research status of grasping detection, which is the key part in the grasping process of the robot arm based on vision, is summarized. The 2D planar grasping and 6-DOF spatial grasping are compared and analyzed in detail. At the same time, it also summarizes the commonly used evaluation indexes of capturing data sets and capturing detection, and points out the challenges faced by vision-based robot capturing and the future direction of solving these challenges

    No full text
This paper presents a review of flow network concepts, including definition of some graph-theoretic basics and a discussion of network flow properties. It also provides an overview of some crucial algorithms used to solve the maximum-flow problem such as the Ford and Fulkerson algorithm (FFA), supplemented with alternative solutions, together with the essential terminology for this algorithm. Moreover, this paper explains the max-flow min-cut theorem in detail, analyzes the concepts behind it, and provides some examples and their solutions to demonstrate this theorem. As a bonus, it expounds the reduction and transformation techniques used in a capacitated network. In addition, this paper reviews one of the popular techniques for analyzing capacitated networks, which is the “decomposition technique”. This technique is centered on conditioning a complicated network on the possible states of a keystone element  or on the possible combinations of states of many keystone elements. Some applications of capacitated network problems are addressed based on each type of problem being discussed

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a collection of objects such as sensors, actuators, and processors, which interconnected within a specific network to perform a task collaboratively. The IoT is one of the prevalent technologies, which has developed dramatically in recent years. Its reputation derives from its relevance and role in employing things in the best way, starting with smartphones that opened new horizons in control technologies and later developing new ideas regarding cloud-computing services. A smart gateway plays an essential role in the IoT applications that responsible for enabling communication between the network layer and the ubiquitous sensors network layer. IoT gateways are methods that operate with influential data centers as a point of communication between lower-end users. IoT gateways connect the heterogeneous devices in use and carry out many tasks to accomplish the computing mission. This work searches how IoT gateway\u27s function and how they interact. In particular, it lists interface issues related to IoT gateways. In this paper, we research IoT and Smart Gateways and address Smart Gateways problems and computing techniques to promote IoT programs\u27 stable transition to the Smart Gateway

A Survey of Optical Fiber Communications: Challenges and Processing Time Influences

Optical fibers are utilized widely for data transmission systems because of their capacity to carry extensive information and dielectric nature. Network architectures utilizing multiple wavelengths per optical fiber are used in central, metropolitan, or broad‐area applications to link thousands of users with a vast range of transmission speeds and capacities. A powerful feature of an optical communication link is sending several wavelengths through the 1300‐to‐1600‐ nm range of a fibre simultaneously. The technology of integrating several wavelengths onto a similar fiber is called wavelength division multiplexing (WDM). The principle of WDM utilized in concurrence with optical amplifiers has an outcome in communication links that permit rapid communications among users in the world\u27s countries. This paper presents an overview of the challenges of fibre optic communication. This paper offers an outline of the areas to be the most relevant for the future advancement of optical communications. The invention of integrated optics and modern optical fibers takes place in the field of optical equipment and components

Skin Lesions Classification Using Deep Learning Techniques: Review

    No full text
Skin cancer is a significant health problem. More than 123,000 new cases per year are recorded. Melanoma is the most popular type of skin cancer, leading to more than 9000 deaths annually in the USA. Skin disease diagnosis is getting difficult due to visual similarities. While Melanoma is the most common form of skin cancer, other pathology types are also fatal. Automatic melanoma screening systems will be useful in identifying those skin cancers more appropriately. Advances in technology and growth in computational capabilities have allowed machine learning and deep learning algorithms to analyze skin lesion images. Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNNs) have achieved more encouraging results, yet faster systems for diagnosing fatal diseases are the need of the hour. This paper presents a survey of techniques for skin cancer detection from images. The paper aims to present a review of existing state-of-the-art and effective models for automatically detecting Melanoma from skin images. The result of classifications and segmentation from the skin lesion images will be processed better using the ensemble deep learning algorithm

Aims: To evaluate the performance of an Improved Latent Semantic Analysis (ILSA), Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA), Non-Negative Matrix Factorization (NMF) algorithms in an Electronic Assessment Application using metrics, Term Similarity, Precision, Recall and F-measure functions, Mean divergence, Assessment Accuracy and Adequacy in Semantic Representation. Methodology: The three algorithms were separately applied in developing an Electronic Assessment application. One hundred students’ responses to a test question in an introductory artificial intelligence course were used. Their performance was measured based on the following metrics, Term Similarity, Precision, Recall and F-measure functions, Mean divergence and Assessment Accuracy. Results: ILSA outperformed the LSA and NMF with an assessment accuracy of 96.64, mean divergence from manual score of 0.03, and recall, precision and f-measure value of 0.83, 0.85 and 0.87 respectively. Conclusion: The research observed the performance of an improved algorithm ILSA for electronic Assessment of free text document using Adequacy in Semantic Representation, Retrieval Quality and Assessment Accuracy as performance metrics. The results obtained from the experimental designs shows the adequacy of the improved algorithm in semantic representation, better retrieval quality and improved assessment accuracy

Web of thing (WoT) is a gifted answer for interface and access each gadget through the web. Consistently the gadget includes increments with huge variety fit as a fiddle, size, use and intricacy. In this paper Since WoT drives the world and changes individuals\u27 lives with its wide scope of administrations and applications. In any case, WoT offers various types of assistance through applications, it faces serious security issues and powerless against assaults, for example, sinkhole assault, overhang dropping, forswearing of administration assaults. So on, the Interruption recognition framework is utilized to recognize such assaults when the organization\u27s security is penetrated. Given a scale extension of Web of Things for a practical asset the executives in brilliant urban communities, a legitimate plan of an interruption recognition framework IDS is basic to protect the future organization framework from interlopers. With the development of associated things, the most broadly utilized brought together cloud-based IDS regularly suers from high inertness and organization overhead, subsequently coming about in lethargy to assaults and moderate recognition of pernicious clients

Design and Construction of Speech Controlled Door

Home security is extremely important, and several methods of security have been improved, such as the usage of alarms, monitoring systems, and the interplay of electronic hardware, software, and other factors. Keys can be misplaced and found by others, putting the guarded structure at risk; keys can also be fabricated or stolen. This project entails creating a voice message-based door access system that can both open the door and identify intruders, trespassers, criminals, or any other type of illegal behaviour. The speech-controlled door was meant to generate a voice message based on the input data and was developed around a microcontroller (ATmega328p). A speech recognition module is used to allow the owner or user entry to the door. To gain access to the door, the owner must first utter the specific speech or key word required to open it. A voice notification is then outputted through the associated speaker if the pronounced word does not match the speech recognized by the microcontroller. To signify that access is refused, a red-light emitting diode will flash. The microprocessor would activate a relay and current will flow through the latch, allowing the door to be unlocked, if the uttered speech matches.
