Urinary tract infection incidence in college students
Result of studying (61) urine samples collected from students department of Biology in the College of Education-Tikrit University and the people who hold signs and symptoms of urinary tract infections with those who do not have any signs or symptoms through a questionnaire has been with the collection of samples, and the total cases were infected (39 ) cases, a rate (63.9%) distributed (28) cases a female (68.2%) and male (11) cases event rate (55%), while the distribution of positive cases among age groups have emerged group (20-22 years) is the highest rate (56%) females. The results of urine cultures accompany the presence of different types of bacteria sick and E.coli bacteria is the highest ratios positive also it is the most common causative agents of urinary tract infections ,it is the predominant organism to be isolated. Less frequent causative Staphylococcus aureus . Susceptibility of isolates to various antimicrobial drugs was also studied. The result demonstrates the frequent incidence of resistant bacteria to commonly used drugs especially Ampicilline, Tetracyclin
Effect of Some predisposing factors on Vulvovaginal Candidiasis
The predisposing factors and their effect on the increasing of vulvovaginal Candidiasis have been studied in this research. The result indicated that the highest of infection with vaginal Candidias was in the age of women with age of (21-30years) with vaginal itching and discharge, also the results revealed that the pregnancy was the main predisposing factor. The percentage of the infected pregnant Ladies was 33.7% followed by the women who used the IUCD and OCP 22.1%, those who used steroids 5.2% comparing with control women (without predisposing factors).The results also indicated that the most cases of infection were during the third trimester of pregnancy (where the rate of infedion) was 53.9%.-OCP- Oral Contraceptive Pills-IUCD- Intrra Uterine Contraceptive Devic
Studying the effect of annealing on some electrical and optical properties for thin CdS , CdS:In films
In the present work we prepared heterojunction not homogenous CdS/:In/Cu2S) by spray and displacement methods on glass substrate , CdS:In films prepared by different impurities constration. Cu2S prepared by chemical displacement method to improve the junction properties , structural and optical properties of the deposited films was achieved . The study shows that the film polycrystalline by XRD result for all film and the energy gap was direct to 2.38 eV with no effect on this value by impurities at this constration
The effect of solar cells distribution on the Performance of solar panel
Three different distribution modules of silicon solar cells in a panel are used in this study . Each module consists of five identical circular silicon solar cells of radius (5cm) and then the total panel areas are identical. The five solar cells are arranged in the panel in different shapes: circular, triangular and rectangular .The efficiency for these three panel distribution are measured indoor and outdoor. The results show that the efficiency is a function of the cells distribution

Isolation and Identification of Vibrio cholerae causes Epidemic cholera 2007 in Iraq by Rapid Method (Immunochromatographic one step rapid visual test) and comparing it with the traditional Bacterlogical Methods
This study was for searching for Cholera Bacteria serotype which causes epidemiology Cholera in the 2007 in a fast method which contains (Rapid Visual Test) (Crystal V.C.) which was used for the first time in Iraq to diagnosis of Cholera Bacteria & compared with the traditional bacteriology method.
The Cholera disease is one of the most dangerous epidemiological diseases which lead to death with a percentage of (50 – 70) % in the severe cases for untreated patients .
For this purpose, 100 samples of stool from the patients from a (13) hospitals in Baghdad Governorate in the period from August to the end of December. The Cholera was diagnosis in two methods, 1st method was the fast method using the nitrocellulose which is coated with anti-body of Cholera Bacteria .The results was compared with the 2nd method which depends on the cultural characteristics of the cultural media, also the bacteria was diagnosis using the biochemical inspects by the system of API 20E in addition to the using of antisera to specify serotype& sub-serotype ( Monovalent, Polyvalent(O1) .
Also, the relation between the disease & the months in the year in which the disease appear was studied. The results show the ability to isolate & identifecate (78) isolate for the serotype (01) in the fast method ( Rapid Visual Test ) ( Crystal V-C ) , & after the bacteriology inspects on these (78) isolate the all isolates were belongs for Cholera Bacteria of the serotype (01) till the sub-serotype , all the (78) isolates were belongs to the sub-serotype (Inaba). The results show, the most infection was in September (36) , & October (22)
The Calculation of the partical distribution function g(r12,r1) for Carbon Ion cases (C+2,C+3,C+4) in the position space
The aim of this work is study the partical distribution function g(r12,r1) for Carbon ion cases (C+2,C+3,C+4) in the position space using Hartree-Fock's Wave function, and the partitioning technique for each shell which is represented by Carbon Ions [C+2 (1s22s2)], [C+3 (1s22s)] and [C+4 (1s2)]. A comparision has been made among the three Carbon ions for each shell. A computer programs (MATHCAD ver. 2001i) has been used texcute the results
Optical Investigations of CdSe1-x Tex Thin Films
The alloys of CdSe1-xTex compound have been prepared from their elements successfully with high purity (99.9999%) which mixed stoichiometry ratio (x=0.0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.0) of (Cd, Se and Te) elements. Films of CdSe1-xTex alloys for different values of composition with thickness(0.5?m) have been prepared by thermal evaporation method at cleaned glass substrates which heated at (473K) under very low pressure (4×10-5mbar) at rate of deposition (3A?/s), after that thin films have been heat treated under low pressure (10-2mbar) at (523K) for two hours.
The optical studies revealed that the absorption coefficient (?) is fairly high. It is found that the electronic transitions in the fundamental absorption edge tend to be allowed direct transition. It was also found that the optical energy gap vary non-linearly with composition (x) and have a minimum value at x=0.5 and increases after heat treatment.
It is found that the optical constants vary non-linearly with composition, and the behavior inverse at x=0.5, and affected by heat treatment. The behavior of ?1 is similar to the behavior of n, while the behavior of ?2 is similar to the behavior of k
Numeral Recognition Using Statistical Methods Comparison Study
The area of character recognition has received a considerable attention by researchers all over the world during the last three decades. However, this research explores best sets of feature extraction techniques and studies the accuracy of well-known classifiers for Arabic numeral using the Statistical styles in two methods and making comparison study between them. First method Linear Discriminant function that is yield results with accuracy as high as 90% of original grouped cases correctly classified. In the second method, we proposed algorithm, The results show the efficiency of the proposed algorithms, where it is found to achieve recognition accuracy of 92.9% and 91.4%. This is providing efficiency more than the first method
Study the Optical Properties of Transparent Epoxy Resin (Epoprimer) Plates
حضرت الواح راتنج الايبوكسي في المختبر بخلط راتنج الايبوكسي (A) مع المصلب B)) بنسبة خلط(2:1)(A:B) وبذلك تم صناعة(6) الواح مختلفة السمك تتراوح بين . (0.95-5.8)mm
درست الخصائص البصرية كالامتصاصية والنفاذية و الانعكاسية وفجوة الطاقة والفلورة لحساب الثوابت البصرية معامل الامتصاص و معامل الخمود و معامل الانكسار و للألواح جميعها .
لقد أظهرت النتائج العملية انه بزيادة سمك الالواح تزداد شدة الامتصاص فعند سمك (0.95-5.8)mmكانت شدة الامتصاص تساوي (0.20, 0.69)(a.u.) على التوالي , وان قمة الامتصاص لمادة الايبوكسي تقع عند المنطقة فوق البنفسجية و بالتحديد عند الطول الموجي (330 nm) وفجوة الطاقة (Eg=3.59 (eV) ) وتمتلك الالواح نفاذية تتراوح بين (60-92)% في منطقة الضوء المرئي ومعامل الانكسار للايبوكسي (n=1.3) والانعكاسية (R=20%) عند الطول الموجي يساوي (330)(nm).
من دراسة طيف الفلورة الناتج عن ازاحة طيف الامتصاص (ازاحة استوك) لالواح الايبوكسي النقي فيختلف بحسب سمك الالواح المستخدمة اذ تزداد الازاحة نحو الاطوال الموجية الاطول (ازاحة حمراء ) بزيادة سمك الالواح كما أوضحت النتائج ذلك فعند الالواح بسمك (0.95, 3 ,5.8)mm كان مقدار ازاحة طيف الفلورة (ازاحة استوك) (100 ,131 ,140)nm على التوالي.
Epoxy plates have been made in the laboratory by mixing epoxy resin (A) with, hardener (B) in ratio (A: B) = (2:1), so they made (6) plates of different thickness about (0.95-5.8)mm .
The optical properties have been studied like (absorption, transmittance, reflectance, energy gap and fluorescent) also the optical constant were found including (absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient and refraction index) for all plates.
The results have shown that by increasing the thickness of plates the absorption intensity increase; at plates thickness (0.95-5.8)mm the absorption intensity were ، (0.20,0.69) respectively , and since absorption peak for epoxy occur in ultraviolet region and exactly at wavelength (330 nm) and energy gap (Eg=3.59(eV)) ; so the plates have transmittance about (60-92)% in visible region . The refraction index for Epoprimer epoxy is (n=1.3) and its reflectance is (R=20 %) at wavelength (330 nm) .
While the fluorescence spectrums that result form shifting absorption spectrum (stoke shift) for epoxy plates it differ according to the used plate’s thickness. Where the shift increases toward longer wavelengths the (red shift) with the increase in plates thickness as the results show; so at plate thickness of (0.95, 3 ,5.8)mm the fluorescence spectrum shift was (100,131,140)nm respectively .
