Mefenamic Acid Selective Membranes Sensor and Its Application to pharmaceutical Analysis
Get PDFPVC membrane sensor for the selective determination of Mefenamic acid (MFA) was constructed. The sensor is based on ion association of MFA with Dodecaphospho molybdic acid (PMA) and Dodeca–Tungstophosphoric acid(PTA) as ion pairs. Nitro benzene (NB) and di-butyl phthalate (DBPH) were used as plasticizing agents in PVC matrix membranes. The specification of sensor based on PMA showed a linear response of a concentration range 1.0 × 10–2 –1.0 × 10–5 M, Nernstian slopes of 17.1-18.86 mV/ decade, detection limit of 7 × 10-5 -9.5 × 10 -7M, pH range 3 – 8 , with correlation coefficients lying between 0.9992 and 0.9976, respectively. By using the ionphore based on PTA gives a concentration range of 1.0 × 10–4 –1.0 × 10–5 M, Nernstian slope of 17.18-18.4 mV/ decade, limit of detection 8.0 × 10–6-9.3 × 10-5M,pH range 3 – 8 and correlation coefficients range between 0.9984 and 0.9891, respectively. The measurement interferences in the presence of Li+, Na+, Mg2+ Ca2+, Fe3+and Al3+ were studied using separate and match potential methods for selectivity coefficient determination. The method was applied for the determination of Mefenamic Acid in pharmaceutical preparation
Inflammatory role of some cytokines, immunoglobulins and complement proteins in immunopathogenesis of renal failure in a sample of Diyala province patients
No full textThis study was conducted in Diyala province for renal failure patients during the periods August 2015 - April 2016. Hundred renal failure patients were enrolled in the study after diagnosis by the consultant physician at Ibn-Sina Center for Dialysis in Baquba Teaching Hospital according to criteria adopted by the World Health Organization for diagnosis of renal failure disease. The number of males in patient’s sample was 61 (61%) and females was 39 (39%) with an age range of 10 – 88 year (44.7 ± 22.1 year). In addition, the study included 50 apparently healthy individuals and considered as a group control, in which the number of males and females was similar (25 individual), with an age range of 18 – 88 year (51.7 ± 17.3 year). The results a highly significant decrease serum level of immunoglobulins (IgG and IgM) and complement proteins (C3 and C4) in renal failure patients compared to controls (p ? 0.001). The results showed further a highly significant increased serum level of interleulin-18 in patients compared to controls (p ? 0.001). Interleukin-6 serum level was also increased in patients compared to control, but the difference was not significant (p > 0.05)
Biological Control of Acaudalerodes Rachipora (Singh) (Hemiptera: Alerodidae) by the Entomopathogenic Fungi on in Field
No full textThis study was conducted in the College of Agriculture fields /University of Baghdad, during Autumn 2013. This study was aimed to examine the mortality rate on the all black fly stages of Acaudalerodes rachipora Singh) by the biotic fungus Beuveria bassiana. The results of a preliminary survey showed that the samples of Ziziphus spaina christi were infested by blakflies in Agriculture collage during Autumn seasons of 2013 , the presence of species of black flies A. rachipora on the lower surface of the leaf, the study aimed to study and research the effects of fungus B. bassiana on black fly A. rachipora. After six days of treatment results showed the continued superiority 106 spore / ml trends in the western, southern and eastern being 34.64, 31.77 and 20.8% respectively, while outweigh the moral fungus concentration 108, which was treated by insect instars in the direction north by killing 26.32% on the rest concentrations of fungus, which was treated by insect instars to the same direction the latter, note from the results above the high mortality rates with time as increased rates of initial mortality rates,. Finally reflected clearly outweigh the concentration of 108 fungus spore / ml in all directions western, southern, northern and eastern mortality rates 65.35, 62.84, 50.89 and 46.34%, respectively, compared with mortality rates made by the concentrations of other used in the experiment of the directions of the four that did not show significant differences in their impact on the roles of insect and thus increased mortality rates in the field with the time. We recommend conducting further field studies of fungus to determine the extent of efficiency in the field, according to local conditions and to determine its role in regulating the population of black flies and study the compatibility of the fungus with other control methods
