    Misinformation Spread by the Waj Mahfil Through Social Media Platforms About the Position of Women in Islam: A Case Study in Bangladesh

    This research explores whether any misinformation regarding women is being spread in the Waj Mahfils of Bangladesh through social media platforms At present an extensive number of people are listening to these Waj Mahfils using social media platforms and therefore fabricated information about women can have a terrible impact on society Waj Mahfils held in Bangladesh and conducted by so-called Islamic speakers of this country Shaykh Abdur Razzaq Bin Yusuf Abu Twha Muhammad Adnan Shah Ahmed Shafi and Amir Hamza have been selected from YouTube and Facebook as purposive sample for this research Representation theory has been chosen as the theoretical framework It can be expected that through this research people will get a clear idea about the fake speakers of Islam and their false speeches on various social economic and marital issues of women It will also be a helpful tool for future researchers in this regar

    This article examines the complex relationship between governance and legitimacy during Andr s Manuel L pez Obrador s administration in Mexico 2018-2024 Using a mixed-methods approach it analyzes the evolution of governance indicators and popular support considering how high levels of legitimacy have persisted despite weak governance This persistence is partly attributed to presidential charisma the low political culture of Mexicans and social welfare policies The study reviews theoretical frameworks on legitimacy and governance assessing the apparent disconnect between these concepts in the Mexican context Additionally it proposes possible explanations for this paradox and suggests avenues for future research on how social and political factors influence public perceptions of government performanc

    Background The problems of social progress the directions of development of the state and law have not lost their relevance since the birth of human civilization The reason for this study is the need to detect patterns in the genesis of the state and law to determine the nature of their development The author sets himself the task of revealing philosophical and legal ideas about the progressive evolutionary development of the state and law ensuring the well-being and security of the individual and society Materials and Methods Considering the development of the state and law the author uses the method of state-legal modeling as well as comparative legal and historical-legal methods that allow assessing the main features of social progress associated with the search and provision of universal values that are supranational in nature Results The uniqueness and uniqueness of each community caused by natural cultural historical religious and other factors do not devalue the steady trend of the development of society towards the rationalization of public life democratization and humanization of political regimes the expansion of the rights and freedoms of citizens Modern concepts of law as a special connection of the individual with the state endow the property of universality of human rights and the legal concepts of freedom equality and justice underlie their recognition and protection Conclusions Modern standards of progress are inseparable from the concepts of freedom equality and justice and can be acquired by society only in conditions of civil consent Progressive in the genesis of the state and law is the direction of their development which frees man and society from irrational based on ideological misconceptions religious class and other prejudices rules of behavio

    The Theory Behind the Concept of Socialism: The Case of China

    This paper evaluates the socialist character of contemporary China through the lens of Marxist theory and dialectical materialism Considering seminal works by Marx Engels and Lenin it is argued that the Chinese Communist Party s CCP project of a socialist market economy while demonstrably distinct from pure capitalism does not yet constitute socialism For instance the reintroduction of capitalist relations was deemed necessary by prominent CCP figures and Chinese intellectuals including Mao Zedong Deng Xiaoping Jin Huiming Chen Yun and Xue Muqiao as a means to enhance the productivity of the Chinese economy This enhanced productivity was considered imperative for achieving the future initial phase of socialist development China s present constitution is an evidence of this process showing internal contradictions between both modes of production This is due to the quantitative and qualitative changes that emerged on China s economic and political realms which can signalize a sublatio

    Algorithmic News and Ethical Dilemmas: Evaluating the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Integrity of Information in the Context of Facebook Media Sphere in Bangladesh

    This paper focuses on the ethical aspects of AIgenerated disinformation in Bangladesh a new democracy and part of the Global South This is a qualitative empirical study on how algorithmic content generation and dissemination in this instance Facebook s AI algorithms impact journalism and public debate The study pairs 20 semistructured interviews with editors journalists technologists and fact-checkers with a case study of 2020-2025 AIgenerated or manipulated content The findings demonstrate that Facebook s algorithms promote sensational biased and unethical content for engagement at the expense of truth and accuracy and thus destroy ethical values like truth responsibility and justice The study also finds entrenched disinformation on a large number of topics with massive spikes closer to the 2024 elections Activities of fact-checkers media and regulators are mostly reactive and isolated from the larger scene with huge loopholes in accountability By locating the issues of AI and media ethics within the context of a new democracy with weak institutions and polarized politics the present research offers something to the worldwide debates Theoretically it uses Media Ethics Theory and Technological Determinism as a way to show how algorithms are degrading ethics Practically it proposes an integrated framework of ethics law and technology in Bangladesh media and provides new insights for democratic communication and the public trus
